During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.
Specific issues include:
- Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
- A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
- Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
- Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
- Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.
It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk
to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Do they meet the Heinousness Standard?
Here you compare the actions of the Candidate to other character actions in the story in order to determine if they stand out or not. Remember that all characters, not just other villains, contribute to the Heinousness Standard
Final Verdict?
Simply state whether or not you think the character counts or not.

Morgen: Yagura looks fine. Here's a potholed Kokabiel:
- A Demon Among Devils: This verse's Kokabiel is the most evil and sadistic member of the Fallen Angels and the former leader of their council the Grigori. He's a genocidal maniac who firmly believes in the superiority of the Fallen, rekindling the Great War to wipe out as many other species as possible. He kills his Father to assume his power, will happily torture his enemies to death, callously sacrifices his own soldiers, and plans on raping Rias and Sona before killing them just to piss off Sirzechs and Serafall.
- Echoes: Yagura far outdoes his canon counterpart in heinousness and is easily the fic's most depraved villain. Seeing himself as "the ultimate predator," he hunts down and kills people for fun, engages in cannibalism, whimsically commits genocide to create a new [1], makes a sport out of murdering his minions for the most minor reasons, and ultimately wants to turn the world into a dog-eat-dog hellhole to rule over as a tyrannical warlord.

- Katekyō Hitman Reborn!: Byakuran from this Shonen Jump series is the Boss of the Gesso Famiglia and the Big Bad of the Future Arc. Using his ability to to communicate with and gain knowledge from every other Byakuran in a different parallel universe, he conqueror each and everyone of them until the only one left was the main universe. He planned to cement his grip on all reality by obtaining the Tri-ni-set; first ordering the slaughter of the Vongola family itself and their friends and families, then released Non Tri-ni-set radiation into the atmosphere in order to kill all Arcobaleno members. While he displays a cheerful disposition around his subordinates, it's only if they hold his interest. In reality, he's ruthlessness and cruel. Once he "gets bored" of someone, he won't hesitate to have them killed. He will do anything to achieve his goal, not caring if it would mean sacrificing innocent people or destroying the world and even referring to them as his toys.

How is this re write for Vincent ST. Claire?
Anaksha Female Assassin: Vincent ST. Claire manages to stand out in a Crapsack World filled with Asshole Victims. Prior to the events of the game, he raped and murdered his pregnant wife Zara. In the present, he poses as a school principal to hide his criminal empire. He uses this position to sell drugs to students, in addition to running an operation to sell women into sexual slavery. Finally, he tries to blow up his school and frame Anaksha for it to get revenge on her for interfering with his crimes.

Is my Byakuran write-up okay now?
Vincent and Byakuran's writeups look good; just put a space between Asshole Victims.
For Foyle (from The Escape Artist), I have this as a very loose draft. So tropes have yet to be linked in, and I'm not sure to what degree it needs to be edited for spoilers; by that, I mean how much can be said without A) violating the "few-to-no-spoilers" rule that seems to exist for this trope and B) giving too much away.
Introduced on trial for murdering a young woman, Liam Foyle makes no pretence as to how brutal he is when he drops his mask of politeness to inform defence barrister William Burton that "[he's] just not a nice person". After Burton gets him off on a technicality and refuses to shake his hand, Foyle begins stalking Burton's son Jamie home from school out of sheer pettiness and mainly to scare Will, then breaks into Burton's apartment and murders his wife, clearly ungrateful for the legal aid that kept him out of prison. Later, once Maggie clears him of all charges, he begins stalking her and leaving her disturbing gifts by breaking into her flat, rendering her a gibbering wreck. When finally confronted for his actions, Foyle has little excuse beyond the fact that he is the way he is, and that society should somehow accept him as some sort of lion amongst the sheep.
Again, it needs serious work mainly through trimming, but I'm hoping it's a start, or at least sparks further conversation. Thanks for reading.

Well, I've finished Danganronpa 2.
Not sure if the other guy has finished it or not, but I still think that Junko earned her place as a Complete Monster.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.
It looks like we may be soon have to add some crimes for Purple Man in the near future, there is an upcoming Daredevil arc where he is kidnapping his own illegitimate children, pretty well victimizing the women he has raped all over again. Unless it is revealed that he cares about his children, this will be yet another low for him.

to Garrosh. His characterization is too inconsistent, jumps all the time, no "base", has vague standards and anyways his WOD characterization, he dosen't do much but get killed by Thrall in the ring of honor.
If we have to add Garrosh then we also have to add post-TFT Kael'Thas as he also showed traits of genuine altruism before being inexplicably retconned into totally evil with no foreshadowing and very vague explanations.
I somewhat remember Cronus from Class Of the Titans and....I will lean .

I believe that Garrosh is sufficiently ambiguous to disqualify from CM status. There are signs that he has motivations beyond simply wrecking everything just because he can. Pride is his fatal flaw, but he's not completely evil.

Haven't had a chance to finish Danganronpa 2 yet, work and helping family move has eaten up a lot of game time. If anyone wants to discuss it that's fine, just please use spoiler tags to avoid the infamous irate Shaoken of doom.
Okay, I think I'm a bit worn out on Destiny for the time being (love my new Xbox One though). Anyway, might as well use this time to get some work done in this thread again. First, the entry for Redyue since I gave her effortpost a week for votes:
- In a series that takes the franchise back to its Darker and Edgier roots, Redyue stands out for her willingness to use any means necessary to play mind-games with, and to commit genocide against, humanity out of boredom. As a vile, selfish, and manipulative bitch, Redyue corrupts Mitsuzane Kureshima into becoming her puppet and uses him to obtain human subjects for a machine that would revive the dead. She aggravates the humans into launch missiles, thereby forcing her superior Roshuo to redirect the missiles to America and to declare war against humanity. She is also not above Mind Rape, as seen when she tries to mentally break Kouta Kazuraba by portraying him in a hallucination as an Inves being attacked by his former mentor Yuya. Moreover, Redyue has a sickening obsession over backstabbing and killing those close to her as seen when she ruthlessly kills Roshuo after the latter defeats Kouta and Kaito Kumon.
