Trope Pantheon Story thread

Don't double post. Also, leave the Tales alone as there going to be some major changes.

Not going to do big changes, just going to refine. As I said before, I'm not going to change the content of the stories.

fredhot16: Please leave the tales as they are for now. You want to edit them, then you need to ask the original authors for permission first. Editing them without acknowledgement, no matter how little or drastic, is unwanted meddling, and this could upset the authors who are working on a tale that has been altered against their wishes.

@Fredhot Still, i didn't understand what change you want to make to the tales.

So, i have an interesting idea for the Tournament. Remember the ultimate Attack page? I thought about expanding it to a "Moveset" page, where instead of only listing the Ultimate attack, we also include the rest of the abilities of said character.

Somewhat like this, i will use sans as an example:

Sans the Skeleton

• Q: Field of Bones: Summons a field of Bones in a determined area. Stuns any enemy caught for 0.50 seconds and deals moderate damage.
• W: Psychokinesis: Pulls an enemy into a determined direction. If his against an object stuns them for 1 second.
• E: Teleport: Teleports a short distance.
• Ultimate: Gaster Blaster: Summons various Skull-shaped cannons that fire a straight beam to an opponent. The position and intesity of the blaster can be determined.
• Trait: Karmic Retribution: Deals damage overtime. The Damage lasts longer depending on the enemy's kill count.

This is too MOBA based but i think it is a good bases for most of the members.

Split on idea. Though, most fighter would be easy, the others would be hard and long.

Guys who were willing to participate in my upcoming Kamen Rider x Crossover story cuz I need a cool title for that?

I've made a few more edits to the trope page for the "Disney Villain Uprising". The trigger behind the struggle to take Maleficent's spot as the leader comes from the 2014 film. The villains fight verbally (and sometimes attack each other physically), each mentioning other Alternate Continuities, and how these continuities have made them seem better or worse to the audience (this includes the DTV sequels). The tale also mentions Descendants, with all the villains hating it. Jafar will serve as the Audience Surrogate.

This tale should be a short one with only approximately six chapters. Neyla is still included as The Starscream that causes the villains to unite.

Why are you always so keen on mentioning things people dislike or Take Thats? Just pointing it out.

So. is my idea for the tournament good enough or not?

@Zorua: Not that much related to the subject in hand, but I said that Mechanikles should probably have part in the DVU, and I thought of a Running Gag where the other Disney Villains seem to always think they are forgetting someone but never figure out who, and in the end of the story, Mechanikles makes a quick cameo complaining how he wasn't informed about any of this.

Also, to be honest, the Pantheon is okay for Take Thats because this is were opinions are also welcome. And I am pretty sure that Disney Channel isn't good, so why not spread the word. Hell, I might put a Take That! in the Fall of the AOF, except I'm not gonna let it out.

Oh and Zorua, CLOVIS is suggesting to ascend Alex and Justin Russo, just a heads up.

TPPR10: Good thinking. Mechanikles being forgotten by the villains makes a good running gag.

MeeMaggot: The Take Thats are only limited to Descendants, but Maleficent does make a mention that if Mal does exist, she'd treat her a lot better than how her Descendants counterpart did.

The point of all this argument is because of the various canons that Disney has placed its villains in, and how they fail to keep up with them. One example is Lady Tremaine being a Jerkass Woobie in one canon, and a Complete Monster in another. All of these mentioned canons are given some positive mention. Some even have WMG theories being spoken about (eg: Morgana really being Ursula in disguise).

So, in all, the canons get positive mentions and negative mentions. The villains have a right to hate Descendants (Gaston, especially), but even they do admit that the film has some good moments.

PS: Apparently, the casts of both Sly Cooper and Jak And Daxter are hinted to exist in Descendants.

I say only to a certain Degree would Take That! be in consideration. I mean, I did mention the FF movie. But it was really light. Remember, this was the problem with the Disgrace and Mary Sue dealings.

The style of the tale: The Disney Villains learn about the film Maleficent, and confront the Mistress of Evil herself, demanding why she pulled a Heel–Face Turn because doing so will cause her to lose her position as the leader. The villains then spend awhile arguing about the various other canons, and their audience reactions (Cinderella2015 is also mentioned), and even bring up a few fan theories for the canons.

The villains then stop arguing, and the Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine, and Ursula challenge Maleficent for the position to see who is the most evil of all. In the progress, Neyla (and Oogie Boogie, who cannot form any memories) bring along Prince Hans, and appears to make it so that he is the most evil of them. It works... until Neyla gets Oogie to toss Hans into a manure pit and steals the spot for herself.

The incident causes the villains to realize that if they quabble, someone outside their clam might take their top spot from them. Maleficent and Neyla fight over the pantheon as Dragon!Maleficent and Clock-La respectively to see who is the most evil of them all. The battle ends in Maleficent's favor, and Neyla just runs off, swearing revenge against the villains.

Any more suggestions to improve the tale? Like how it should end after Neyla is defeated?

Zoura isn't the only one doing Take That! and Running Gag. Pantheonic Rebellion has a Running Gag in which merely saying the words "A fight? Count me in." results in a swarm of Grim Patrons flooding the place where it was said screaming "EVERYONE GET IN HERE!" and "HEHE PILE ON!" The Labyrinth of Amalia (GUAC base of operations)) to this very day has never managed to clear them out, for if you don't one shot a Patron, a completely fresh Patron comes charging in also saying "EVERYONE GET IN HERE!".

The root cause of it all: Pre Upheaval Homura mentioning some urban legend about the phrase in a camping trip, not expecting it to actually be true. By the prologue, the Sisterhood has had their second encounter with the Patrons.

Speaking of the Tournament, we GOTTA have at least one incident with Patrons to continue the Running Gag. I don't care if they mob the arena during a match or just wreck havoc in the crowd, as long as the gag continues.

So about that Law Civil War: who's replacing YHVH as God of Law, Eliphas or Eiki Shiki? Because no matter what happens, YHVH isn't suitably for his position for reasons of incorrigability. And no, don't give me BS about Status Quo Is God. SMT itself has established that YHVH can be replaced, and since he'd rather die than be unbiased, he needs the boot.

Sometimes, guys, the status quo must be broken in this Pantheon. Look at the whole "Gentaro" storyline; the status quo isn't restored for awhile, and when it is, things have changed for the better. And just look at the plots involving Homura Akemi and Madoka Kaname. And then there is the Morality Civil War, the conflict with Polygon Man, the attacks in Europe (since retconed), Sora becoming crippled from his leg being cut off, the Hacking Trio becoming the GUAG White Hats, the Pokémon Partnerships, the upcoming tournament, and so on.

Speaking of which, Status Quo is a deity in the Main House, and the portfolio should have an update (especially to show that the Simpson family, Ash, Pikachu, and Team Rocket are under the strict rule of Status Quo)

I'm not supporting the idea of RJ-19-CLOVIS-93 replacing YHVH as the leader of the GUAL, but his actions in the whole "Project: Alternate!Gentaro" mess is currently at Karma Houdini, and the end of "Gentaro's Epilogue" (when Camilla and I finally revise it) shows that the GUAL is in hot water for YHVH's illegal activities.

I'm picturing in my head that the Status Quo is the Greater-Scope Villain, covertly trying to control all of fiction. Oh, and I still say YHVH doesn't deserve to be the Overdeity of Law when he poorly represents it.

Are we still removing the RWBY characters from the tournament? I have a suggestion for who could replace Ruby.

I say Eliphas and Eiki share the posistion of GUAL. I'm going for the angle of the twin aspects of law (BOTH its good and bad points) so having co-leaders is the best solution.

You know, in regards to Reformation of Law, I find it funny that when it originally was pitched (by me), people were defending YHVH being the head of the Law and said best solution of action was co-opeation, or atleast a chain of command (also note that I think one reason why YHVH went mad was Gone Mad From Isolation for being Lonely at the Top), and now suddenly everyone wants him gone. All that planning down the drain for the simple solution.

But how is YHHV supposed to "die" in the story? Don't tell me you plan to go Urobutcher on his ass.

Whatever the case, it involves tearing him off the law axis itself.
