Shadow of Legends
Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Homura is revealed to be working with Kyoko to take and keep control of the city; she allowed Mami to die on purpose, and is plotting to either kill or take control of Sayaka by playing Good Cop/Bad Cop with Kyoko while discouraging Madoka from contracting. Madoka and Sayaka figure it out, Madoka contracts to fight Homura, while Sayaka fights Kyoko. The Good Guys Win, of course, and Defeat Equals Friendship; the climax and happy ending is everyone teaming up to pilegank the Walpurgis Night.
Oh, and Homura's power is revealed to be Magical Explosions and Flash Step.
Oh, and I would totally watch the above anime. Hell, maybe I'll write a fanfic following that plotline... who am I kidding, I'll never get around to it, but...

INCARNATION OF POWER
Star Wars: Emperor Palpatine is secretly a demon/ghost from the future named Freddy Kreuger who possessed Darth Vador, healed him and took him to the past. Also, Obi Wan Kenobi is an android built by Luke Skywalker and sent back as well to prevent Palpatine/Vader/Freddy from creating an army of clones to wipe out the universe. Eventually they stop him only to have the AI in charge of creating clones take over and convert all the clones to a cybernetic race. They all end up becoming converted and 7 years later Obi Wan Kenobi appears to captain John Luke Picard of the starship Falconprise as an entity known as Q. After overcoming mild senility, he sends them to the old Death Star, and they destroy the AI and free everyone. But then time unravels from them stopping Palpetine and the universe implodes. The End
