Sometimes, you need to stand by a noble ideal, even if it's one that isn't pragmatic. Finding a truly just cause, dedicating yourself to it, and defending it at great personal cost, can help you achieve things you've never thought you were capable of.

If you are doing something very important, ESPECIALLY military related stuff, DO NOT use "failure is not an option" as a mantra. You will always fail. No exceptions. Seen in both live action, anime, and Asian animation.

The more shy, weak and nerdy you are, the more likely you are to be surrounded by several gorgeous women vying for your affections. (For some reason this hasn't been working for me in real life.)

The only people capable of stopping a fight are cute, young, innocent girls. Not by asserting themselves, but by softly and and almost tearfully begging.

Anime/Pokemon - You can be a jerk to your Pokemon and get away with it.

Always team up with the spiky-haired idiot. You will go places, man.

Full Metal Alchemist - The dead can't be revived, it will only bring you suffering to try. Face your hardships head on and become stronger for it.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - The most important thing you can do is believe in yourself.

Anime/Pokemon - Bonding with your friends is important, you'll work better because of it.

Code Geass - Changing the world isn't something to take lightly, it will likely have a lot of reprecussions.

The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya - Don't force the world and everyone in it to conform to your whims.

Death Note - Taking people's lives isn't something to take lightly and it will likely corrupt you into a shell of your former self.
