Smith?
I find name meanings, language and origins really fascinating, as you can probably tell.
MISSED ME?!?!While I'd rather not talk about the meaning of my first name (because it would be WAY to easy to figure out what my name actually is), I CAN say that finding the meaning of my last name is way harder than I thought. Best I could find was a mention that it might be similar to another name in another language, which I highly doubt.
I suppose I can share my middle name tho, it's just the name of one of the apostle of Jesus.
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.Behind the Name gives a recursive meaning to my name, Jade- it says that it was derived from the Spanish word for Jade.
I also have a birth name, Zhao Li (赵黎), which I had for the first five months of my life before I was adopted and brought to the US. 'Zhao'- my surname -means 'to surpass', apparently, and is the same character used by the Royal House of Zhao. That specific iteration of 'Li' means 'dawn' or 'black'.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."My first name is a stupid biblical thing that apparently means "YAHWEH remembers".
My middle name means 'man'.
No idea what my last name means. It may or may not have anything to do with the game of pool.
My name means "to put a sharp object through". What, were you expecting something meaningful?
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference. My first name means "free man" or "one who is free." My middle name means "born to nobility."
(Kiiiiidding)
Well, I didn't say which gender it was specific to...
actually, I probably wouldn't mind if other people just pretend that my name is whatever they think it is, just because that sounds like it could be amusing.

whateverInterestingly, recent research on my part (due to imminent sprog-dropping) has revealed that my first name basically means 'red deer' while my middle name means 'large fort'.
Strangely enough, my middle name is both a first name and the surname of one of the country's most powerful clans with whom my family have an old association and whose emblem is a red deer stag.
I doubt this weird sort of punning was intended by my parents, but I find it rather cool.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'My middle name (Shane) means "graced by God", according to Wikipedia.
The region of origin of that name is in Ireland, apparently...
My mother wanted to name me "Shane" (with nothing else added to it), but to avoid a family war, my full name is "Wayne Jakobus Michael"...
"Wayne" is from my father's name, "Jakobus" is from my grandfather (who died on 18 January this year) and "Michael" is from my other grandfather...
my first name is MICHAEL my last name is TULLY
i was named after my dads brother i think.
Ok, here goes.
Rodrigo is my first name. It spanish, but the origin its germanic and means something like "Famous glory" or something just as Grandiose.
Ramirez is my first last name, also germanic and it meant "Powerful in battle" or something like that.
Ante is my last last name, and I have no idea where it comes from, other than it is ambiguously european. French maybe? I know for a fact that we have an ancestor that came from somewhere in europe that wasn't spain.
Of not is that Spanish names have two last names, and the first one (from the father) is considered to have priority.
My name is originally Irish, and it means "Lord."
Can't find what my surname means though.
FIMFiction Account MLPMST PageMy given name is just about the most boring name ever (meaning-wise). Originating in Hebrew, it was translated into a myriad of languages (mine, in particular, is the Russian version by pronunciation, the German version by spelling). It means 'living one', or 'Mother of Life'. Guess what I'm called.
It's pronounced rather differently from the way it's spelled, though, so that adds some excitement to it when people just can't get it right even though I've told them a million times. It's not hard to pronounce at all. It's just spelled differently.\\

Complicated - because simple is simply too simple.Logan comes from a Scottish place name meaning "little hollow."
My first name is an adaptation of a name that means "old friend" in Old English. It was given to me because it was my paternal grandmother's maiden name.
My first middle name means "coal miner" and my second middle name means "laughter" or "he laughs" in Hebrew.
Oh, and Locksley comes from the Anglo-Saxon place name Loxley. I chose it to reference Robin Hood. Ooh, here's some interesting info on the name Locksley:

My middle name is derived from Hebrew meaning "YAHWEH is great". So... I've got Thor and God in my names.
However, I don't think my parents knew about the godliness of my first and middle names when they chose them (my middle name is my grandpa's name and I have no idea where my first name came from, but I doubt it was because it had a badass meaning).

Macron's notesMy name is Joseph. I come from a Catholic family. Three guesses where the name comes from, and the first two don't count.
...though I suppose you'd be wrong anyway, since it's also my dad's name Funny thing, my dad and I don't have the same EXACT name, but we have the same first name, last name, and middle initial (but not the same middle name). As you can imagine, getting the mail is hell sometimes
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. My name, Andrew, means "manly" or "brave." Funny, I'm not really either of those.
Lior.
Li-towards me.
Or-Light.
My name has no meaning, for it was an attempt by my parents at being "original".
However, it's pronounced Brian, so... I suppose it is of Old Celtic origin and means "high" or "noble", or depending on the interpretation could also mean "hill". My surname, on the other hand, is of Spanish origin and can be directly translated to "Son of Hernan".
Thus, my full name is Hill, Son of Hernan. So now you know. And knowing is half the battle.

My first name has no meaning, it was made up. My middle name means "A Christian". My last name is based on a profession. It's the most common surname in the U.S. and England, I think you can guess it.
