Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

What Happened By Hillary Rodham Clinton appears to be (nastily) troping the real life person
The creator's other edits might need a check

I cut the article, banned the troper, and unindexed it.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I put Sly Cooper (2016) on the cut list a few weeks ago but apparently it was declined. It has seven examples, however the movie itself is cancelled. There shouldn't be a page about a cancelled film, right?
Actually we have quite a few pages for films that never got made (Sinister Six, Godzilla (1994)). I don't think it's against our policy to still have it up.
Yeah, unless most or all of the tropes are speculative.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanUnlike those two, the only examples seem to just be based on a trailer. Also it's in the wrong namespace.
Bigotry Exception was recently launched. While it had 6 hats, it launched with only eight examples, which seems to be on the low side. Moreover, I'm not sure what the point of the trope is supposed to be. If it said anything about the bigoted person's character or something like that, then I could get it, but the trope is focusing on the character who is the exception — and the article basically says that any reason could count as this trope. So the distinction of being the exception seems to be meaningless (for the character who is the exception). I think this should be sent back to work on the description so that it either says something about the character who is the exception or about the bigoted character. And if not that then I think it should be sent back to at least collect more examples of this kind of character.

Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyCharacters.White Tiger looks like it has been copied from another wiki (it has numbers for references)
Characters.Super Hero Gods is just a few meaningless words and it is a character page attached to a trope
YMMV.The Legend Of The Ice People has one example and it is an uncited unfortunate Implications that uses first person and looking a Character/ tab the editor who made the page might need some help with Z Cs
Fate Orbis Telos is a bit of a stub
TabletopGame. The Frozen King llooks like another personal campaign
Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance doesn't have any tropes (I sent the page creator the stub notifier) been fixed

I was wandering through the wiki and when I found Plot Preassumption, I was surprised at how bad a state it is. According to the page history, it still has the same seven examples now as it did back when it was created back in June of 2012. Only two pages link to this page, one of which (Plot Pivot Point) was created by the same person (juliohm) and is in almost the exact same terrible state. Seeing as the creator left almost immediately after creating the the two pages, is there any point to keeping them around?
Tyler 1 was created in 21 September with only a description list of games played, in addition to no further edits since. Although to be fair I'm not exactly sure what's the standard for Let's Play pages.

- Characters.White Tiger: The material was added by Ava Ayala. I'd say it could be cut, but this seems like a job for the copy-paste thread.
- Characters.Super Hero Gods: It's been cut.
- YMMV.The Legend Of The Ice People: This can probably be cut since the alternative would be blanking the page.
- Roleplay.Fate Orbis Telos: Stub notifier sent.
- TabletopGame. The Frozen King: The trouble is that there are other campaigns, and even an official one by the looks of it, that contain the phrase "Frozen King" in their title. "Oath of the Frozen King" and "The Frozen King (by Lewis Macine)" are two distinct campaigns that I found.
- Plot Preassumption: That seems to just be Backstory or Off Screen Event Is Referenced. I'm not sure if that's a trope.
- LetsPlay.Tyler1: Works pages still need tropes listed so I think the page creator could be PM'd.
Sent a notifier to the creator of the LP page.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportAlright then, thanks; the page was created relatively recently anyway. I would have added tropes if I watched the channel but that ain't the case for me.
Creator.Sarah Girl 1998 was made by the author. I cutlisted the YMMV pages and deleted the section troping herself, but the page still reeks of Auto Erotic Troping (literally, since there's a lot of, uh, sneeze-fetish stuff in there) and isn't indexed.
Also noting that literally every edit they've made (been around for a week) has been pimping their own work. Their editing in general is also just really subpar, with no idea of wiki syntax, context, and a few other issues.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Redirect.Bitch Girlfriend looks like another redirect created by someone who doesn't know how to request Main/ redirects
Messaging the redirect's creator, and cutlisting.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportA couple of pages a go I brought up Worst Muse to this thread's attention:
NOTE: Since most examples are just Discussed Tropes, rather than actually used, those examples will use quotes directly from the Twitter feed.
I'm fairly certain this isn't aloud, since as far as I'm aware (with the exception of some dialogue tropes) using quotes for examples counts as Zero Context Examples.
Fighteer was uncertain as to whether it qualified for a wiki-article and Water Blap suggested the page be cut due to it consisting of Zero Context Example and not having a tropeable narrative.
So I added to the cut-list and it was successfully cut.
However yesterday Augusto has recreated the page, adding this to the work page description:
leaving this as an edit-reason:
If we can't salvage anything, cutlist again and message the user who recreated the page. We may have to PRLC it if needed, as the page was cut then recreated without discussion.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportJustForFun.Wow Wow Wubbzy looks like an editor tried to add to work page but clicked on Create New function instead. The editor may need some help.

, : That actually isn't the first anti-cut edit that troper has made, as reported in this ATT thread. Mentioning it here because the ATT thread hasn't gotten a mod response (as of the posting of this comment).
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyI think we need a bit more discussion on whether that topic can be treated like a work. A parody is certainly a work and not all works have narratives, either.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI accidentally launched Race Films without changing it to "Race Film".
Mars Argo has no examples.

"Doesn't have a tropeable narrative" would be just as much of an argument against such Books on Trope as The Tough Guide to Fantasyland.
Pardon me for saying "narrative" rather than "work." A parody Twitter account does not seem to be the same as a parody book or parody video series. It being a parody is not, imo, enough to be a tropeable work. Also, what on earth is Worst Muse parodying?
I would like to point out that The Nostalgia Critic, Zero Punctuation, The Tough Guide to Fantasyland, and Terrible Writing Advice are tropeable works because they aren't merely reviews or sarcastic advice givers. With what I've seen of Worst Muse, it might as well be applying tropes to any sarcastic person on Twitter.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty
Fanworks.Fanfic Megaverse has a bunch of problems that go beyond the usual stub work pages.
First: Fanworks/ isn't a legal namespace for a work page. Checking it out further, despite the description Fanfic/ doesn't fit either; that's more of a collection of Web Animation, and since they're made with video games, the correct namespace should be Machinima/.
Second: The title is awfully generic. Is it "Fanfic Megaverse" or "Fanfcition Megaverse", for starters? And isn't there a better title for the whole. In fact, I had doubts it actually existed to begin with, but I did find a few of the mentioned titles on You Tube — though the fact no link is given on the page doesn't help.
Third: The majority of the dozen-or-so folders are empty. The couple that are push this beyond the stub threshold, but still it's a rather poor page overall. The examples are badly written and formating errors abound.
Fourth: It's unindexed and totally devoid of wicks.
Since it is recent, I'll message the creator to see if it can be salvaged.
Edit: I have at least moved the page to Machinima.Fanfiction Megaverse and indexed it, so it can start being cleaned up at the correct spot.
