Inspired by this thread, I've noticed that this wiki doesn't have a dedicated cleanup thread for negativity.
As we all know, Complaining About Shows You Don't Like, Creator Bashing and other negativity isn't desired on the wiki, except in a few selected areas like reviews and several Darth Wiki pages (and even then, with limitations). And yet, it's one of the most common sins wiki contributors can make.
So, if you find a page, TLP or discussion whose content seems like a straight-up insult or any other bitching - including complainy soapboxing -, you might ask here for help with removing said content.
The sandbox for this project is located at Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining.

Did a search for him and no edits from well before he pulled his Screw This, I'm Outta Here and to the best of my knowledge there's no correlation between the two. If NN 2 K did make an edit on a page Nate did then sure, MAKE THE BAD MAN FLY!!!!!!
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursYou guys may know already but Honest Trailers had blocked comments for their video on Ghostbusters (2016). Going by recent edits some haters really care about this and I think it would be prudent to prepare for a fresh wave of rage because of it.
Currently reading up My Rule Fu Is Stronger than YoursI suspect some people are using the Fandom Rivalry page to sneak in complaints about works and fandoms they don't like. There's also quite a bit of natter and ZC Es, but I didn't want to bring up the same page on three different topics.
Disney Channel is little more than complaining about the channel's tween sitcoms.
I know that the whole point of the Scrappy pages are to list disliked examples, but in my opinion people are getting way too enthusiastic about giving the page the "proper feel". Especially with some of the image captions.
Nickelodeon is also filled with a lot of complaining. I suspect many of the entries are from when Headscratchers was still know as It Just Bugs Me.

The latest entry alone is just pure whining.
One thing to note, wasn't Headscratchers changed to be about "issues in the story" to help weed out random complaining? Pages like this is just complaining about what the Network does, and due to this, is impossible to actually make criticism on the story of a work itself, since "Nickelodeon" isn't specifically a work, it's just a Network.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Tightwire recently added the following half-a-sentence to the end of the first paragraph on Dull Surprise, is this allowed?:
I took it back out. It didn't even make sense with the rest of the sentence he hung it on.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.The New 52 is back on Dork Age... with an interesting caveat. It now states that DC's publisher Dan Didio apologized to fans for it. Can somebody fact-check this? If the company itself has disavowed it, that might just make it a keep.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Floating Head Syndrome is almost 100% negative, both in the description & the examples.
Well, it is a negative term...
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt still needs some neutrality, though.
135 - 158 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I removed any overt negativity from that page description. You're on your own with the examples.

'90s Anti-Hero seems to be quite complain-y, right from the image caption, and is still a mess with natter, even ignoring that.
We have to remember that even though the trope has been a victim of countless parodies and deconstructions, a lot of the characters playing it straight were, and still are, popular.
For we shall slay evil with logic...So there's a rather large Ass Pull entry on the Rune Scape YMMV page that I find suspect for several reasons. All the bullet points were added by one troper, all three relate to the same character, namely Sliske, a villain who was recently killed off, and having seen that this character's reception is pretty clearly generally positive on both the game's official website and its subreddit I'm really wondering if we're dealing with one person with a Single-Issue Wonk here. The same troper also greatly lengthened the Seasonal Rot entry with yet more bashing of this character.

The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."It should be removed, yes, or at least heavily trimmed down.
135 - 158 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Putting up something more unusual: We have a trope page for Blacktail Defense. Not an unfamiliar name for tropers with an interest in modern military vehicles, but for the sole reason of being a source of unintentional humor for the amount of Critical Research Failure in his videos.
However, resources pointing those out are not that uncommon or hard to find, and in any case convey it better than the TV Tropes page. Removing those and other YMMV tropes would effectively gut the page, so I'm leaning towards binning it completely due to the lack of other tropes present.

I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotWell, the complaining and "he's not factually accurate" whining should be removed. If that leaves nothing to salvage, then yeah. Cutlisting it seems appropriate.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Cutlisted. Another pointless bitchfest gone.
I just changed a pothole on Magazine Decay by virtue of it being complaining (Big "WHY?!" was linked to in the context of Playboy scrapping nudity; I changed it to End of an Era to axe the obvious whine).
I'm not sure if End of an Era was the best choice in this case. A significant change in the style of a magazine or network isn't always the "end" of something. Besides, after reading that trope's description I think it's meant for In-Universe examples .
If I had my will, I would go without any pothole in that PB example.

135 - 158 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300The New Age trope list looks very negative to me.
Agreed. Remove it, especially with the gratuitous Mary Sue mention. Isn't Rip Haywire one of the works that our old nemesis, Nate, used to troll around? Slightly suspicious...
