Srry I was late to post my character, my internets was down
- Name: Hayato Masaru
- Troper: D Acriznips
- Age: 17 (Junior)
- Clubs: Swim team and cooking club (although he tends to keep this a secret)
- Power/change: Water elemental control- at first is able to control small amounts of liquids, but as time passes his control becomes stronger to where he can turn water to ice.
- 2012 Belief: End War (a world war to end all wars) or zombie invasion
- Appearance: Tall lean body from swimming with short brown hair and hazel eyes. Outside of school he like to wear an old grey five panel hat.
- Personality: often humorous, he is a happy, laid back, and collective person which doesn't let life bring him down (you could say that he's a bit of an optimist). Although he acts macho and sometimes makes offhand jokes about girls, Hayato is a bit of a coward whenever it comes to flirting or asking a girl out (even more so when she makes the first move)
- Talents: He is really good at chess even though he doesn't mention it
- Flaws: Tends to procrastinate and ends up doing tasks at the last minute. He also doesn't take many thing seriously.
- Backstory: He joined the 2012 club because he liked to talk about the different theories of 2012 and the history behind it and also because they looked like an interesting group of people. Secretly if the world did end, then he decided would band up with them.

- Name: Tanaka Hiraku
- Troper: Luthen
- Age: 15 so Sophomore?
- Clubs*: Computing Club (Secretary), Kyouto Gamers (Video Games Club), Kyouto Kendo Tigers, Anime Club, LGBT Club (email listing only)
- Power/change: Budding technomancy, beginning with minor Machine Empathy, better instincts, building to full on Techno Wizardry and control, possibly even unintentional granting of sentience to a fridge or something.
- 2012 Belief: Hopes for The Singularity but fears that there will be a huge worldwide volcanic/tectonic cascade.
- Appearance: Hiraku is tall and lanky, average skin, dark grey eyes, black ponytail that skirts the dress code in length.
- Personality: Hiraku tends to watch, and comment only when he feels the need. He's very good a multitasking, so often surprises people by telling them the answer to their problem when he was apparently playing some game. He's an optimist, and a bit of a Fleeting Passionate Hobbies, but he generally cycles through the clubs he's in. He's on the newsletter lists for almost every club, and probably has been to one or two meetings.
- Talents: A knack for computers even before the change, talent for kendo rarely supported by interest *, can speak English quite well..
- Flaws: As alluded to above, Hiraku has a bit of an all-or-nothing problem with larger things. Also the part of him analysing your problem rarely figures that he really shouldn't but in other people's conversations.
- Backstory: Hiraku's home life is more or less the definition of average. Bar the two older sisters (one in college, the other a senior) and two younger brothers (twin terrors, freshmen).
- Other: Helps out weekends and some nights at the family shop (a computer parts/service/software, internet cafe and video rental store).

Clubs: Tea Ceremony Club (president and founder) and Art Appreciation Club (vice-president)
Power: Manipulation of Boundaries. The creation of portals and manipulating of borders, boundaries and limits of different things.
2012 Belief: Some things will change, some will not. The important thing is what will be different from the previous year.
Appearance: Tall, slim and elegant, with pale skin, dark eyes and short black hair.
Personality: Calm, polite and elegant in his speech and mannerisms. Can strike people as snobbish and aloof, but he doesn't treat anyone badly. Popular with the girls because of his good looks, though he doesn't seem to be looking for any kind of relationship.
Talents: Knowledgeable about cultural and historical matters, a very tidy person, meticulous, intelligent and observant.
Flaws: Little physical strength and stamina, bad eyesight (uses contact lenses).
Backstory: The second youngest of four siblings (one younger and one older sister, as well as an older brother). Is doing his best to be different from his university student brother, out of fear from forever staying in his shadow. Has a great respect for traditions and history, and started the Tea Ceremony Club together with three like-minded students shortly after joining the school. Cares a lot about his younger sister, who is in middle school.

- Power/change: Hate-Can make people hate things to certain extents, but may not remain mentally stable under heavy use Note: The effects may wear off eventually, but he can not make people not hate things, even is he made them hate whatever it was in the first place.
- 2012 Belief: Murphy's (Well, Finagle's) law essentially.
- Appearance: Short and incredibly thin. Complete albinism, so devoid of pigment everywhere. Entirely bald and obviously unhealthy, weak and frail. Uses a stick to walk and wears dark glasses near-constantly for eye protection.
- Personality: Very quiet and submissive, generally preferring being alone and not talking much to others, but occasionally staying on the edge of groups as opposed to keeping entirely separated, as with the club.
- Talents: Above-average intelligence, capable without the support of others, fluent in English.
- Flaws: Heavy physical weakness, prone to injury, genetic disorders, Not good with other people
- Backstory: The first-born son of a couple after six miscarriages, but born incredibly ill, physically and genetically. His parents, desperately wanting an son after six attempts, pay for heavy amounts of surgery and therapy to try and give him a normal life and continue their family name. Grew up rejected by many other people because of his weaknesses and appearance and started shying away from others for most of his life.

Yes it is High Octane Nightmare Fuel, but I got the idea from misfits and it works really well. Watch out immortals, I can sort you out too, by basically turning you into vegetables.

- Name: Ruriko Kamura
- Troper: vaultofechoes
- Age: 17
- Clubs: Founder and sole member of the paranormal investigation society. It's not that other students don't believe in the paranormal at all, but they stay FAR away because she's in charge.
- Power/change: Materialising delusions. She talks to imaginary 'things' and they exist simply because she believes them to be real. This starts from invisible (to others) humanoid forms that cause minor havoc but with very short lifespans, to Eldritch Abominations or hordes and the like. She becomes increasingly insane as she sees her delusions having concrete effect on the real world.
- 2012 Belief: That Judgment Day will come, the earth will be flooded by demons and all the sinners on earth (i.e. those she hates) will burn alive and generally die horrific deaths.
- Appearance: Unremarkable, if not for - 1. thick, black glasses, 2. wide and vacant brown eyes, 3. long, straight hair (up to halfway between her shoulder and waist).
- Personality: Ruriko unnerves people. Most of the time, she can be seen either saying nothing or talking to herself. She is usually extremely vaucuous in appearance, but will sometimes become greatly aggravated when talking to either herself or others. This inevitably descends into hysterical behaviour that is very off-putting. Due to this, it can be said that Ruriko has no friends in school. However, she enjoys rambling on about her conspiracy theories to random people, even strangers. Her classmates just shut out what she has to say - or at least, they try to, but what she speaks of is too disturbing...
- Talents: Drawing (charcoal sketches), occult and paranormal knowledge, is adequately intelligent (besides delusions)
- Flaws: Frightens others, resents normal/happy humans, will talk about the paranormal to everyone, is delusional
- Backstory: Ruriko lives with her aunt, who she never talks to. Her parents died brutally when she was 5; Ruriko's father had drunk too much and, in a violent bout of temper, beat her mother to death as she screamed in pain. He then tried to kill her too but she ran out of the house. He went after her but failed to notice a car while running across the road, and was sent flying onto a truck carrying industrial steel rods. Ever since then, Ruriko has had a hard time forgetting these events, to say the least. She believes that evil, occult forces were the cause of her parents' deaths, and that they stalk her, haunting her dreams, causing her to lose sleep and slip further in sanity. Therapy has proven to be of little use. Ruriko proves to be adequate academically, but many essays and art assignments inevitably spiral into disturbing discussions on satanic figures. Despite this, many people in Ruriko's life, including her teachers and principal, feel pity for her and let her stay on in Kyouto High, although more than a number of students and their parents have expressed concern over her behaviour and worry that she might be a threat to others.

- Gender: Female
- Clubs: Debate, anime
- Power/change: object memory – starting with uncontrolled glimpses of an object's past when in contact with it and progressing to the ablity to convince the object to reassume a past form
- 2012 Belief: changes daily. Usually over-the-top.
- Appearance: Isamu has a slight build, topping out at 5 feet tall; 5 feet, one inch including her slightly frizzy mass of black hair. Despite her small stature, she stands out due to a penchant for brightly colored, unorthodoxly paired clothing.
- Personality: Isamu radiates energy. Enough energy is left over after doing well in school to devote time to her hobbies: everything. She picks up and discards interests too fast for most people to keep up with. Isamu has many friends, but no close ones as she is kind of distracted by her hobbies and many consider her kind of weird. Despite outward appearances, she can concentrate acutely when she feels like it.
- Talents: Instant factual expert, just add water (Note: theory is not the same as practical application.)
- Flaws: Leaves things half-finished, a klutz
- Backstory: Isamu comes from a middle class Japanese family. Her parents work a lot and push her hard to do well in school so that she can move up in life. They love her, but don't really care about anything besides good progress in school. Isamu loves her parents and baby brother but decided their vision for her was uninteresting. She joined 2012 club because it sounded fascinating.
- Other: A hopeless, though rather oblivious, romantic

I have some ideas. Three.
"Alex" , a troubled but cute loner and a mysterious blonde who Is FAR more then meets the eye, and Akemi, a quirky, but fun-loving Otaku Surrogate / Gamer Chick, and Tasha Sange, that electromangic girl, (who would also develop super strong skin allowing her to Tank. maybe)
1) Alex would be like a life force replated power. Ki and all that jazz with a sidedish of healing if we don't have a team healer. May or may not be a love letter to Zero of Megaman.
If he can't join the club to fill a requirement, there'd have to be some means to bring him in for the event. A former Kendo Team Captain of his old school with quite a few secrets.. If he's forced to join a club, I can make Alex join whatever club you people want. I'd say the 2012 club for Loophole Abuse, but since I don't tink we can do that...then one of your clubs, where Alex can just be a fly on the wall for until Alex's fellow PC tries to bring them into the 2012 club... "Just try one meeting ok? I think you'll love it"
2) Akemi Yamase is a virtually a Captain Ersatz of a unknown named character (who's prime O.C. Stand-in material) (sans one scene in the visual novel, she has like, less then 4 lines of text in a visual novel in a semi-canon segment) Her power would be manipulation of kinetic force. Would join the club normally. Not sure what club she'd be in. don't know
3) Tasha Sange. not really in place here, but whatever. The said electromangetic girl with the katana. If we have a Kendo Team Captain, she may be his rival/eventual love interest. May be a bit of a The Big Guy and Cute Bruiser. She'd be the melee type. If it'd be allowed. Maybe a foreigner

- Name: Hajime Azaka
- Troper: daltar
- Gender: Female
- Age: 17
- Clubs: Literature Club
- Power/change: Psychokinesis
- 2012 Belief: A combination of every mythological Apocalyptic scenario seeing battle of Gods, Demons and Monster through the entire planet. That or nothing.
- Appearance: Azaka is a young woman with straight black hair in a hime cut reaching a bit beyond the midway down her back. Her dark eyes are hidden behind a pair of slim oval shaped glasses. As of her appearance she is slim though completely average in height and shape.
- Personality: Azaka is a mostly quiet girl who has lived most of her life without too much to motivate her. An individual with low energy who awaits for that which will bring her life true meaning. Has some pretty strong morals and principles which she won't budge on, though those never seemed to come up much during her life. She has a distinct distaste for globalization.
- Talents: Good luck, quick learner and emotionally stable.
- Flaws: Stubborn, indirect, will forgive but never forget, lacks common sense, unpractical when it comes to principles.
- Backstory: Azaka has led an extremely ordinary life until now. A reliable and kind girl who nevertheless never bothered too much with socialization. Has a small group of friends which she sees every once in a while and that is more than enough for her. Joined the literature club because it seemed like an easy club to be in.

Ok, I gotta be honest about something.
Well, I was going to keep it a secret until a big reveal, where I go "Yes He's a she. I got you all. A real actual plot twist people that noone saw coming (unless they looked in retrospect)" and get the same reaction from you and them...
but after talking it over, I'm coming clean. Alex, is a lie. Alex, is actual a girl, pretending to be a boy. Yes, a Sweet Polly Oliver.
After some very traumatic stuff in her old school, She left her old school never to return to the outside world, her parents convincing her to finally go back to school. She said yes, under a few conditions.
1) New school. So she moves to her uncle and aunt's home and school
2) SHE does not go. After all that happened, she refused to be herself outside, on the internet, or anything anymore. SHE no longer exists.
And so, She became He.
She's just here just to go through what she must, just to finish these last one or two high school years and just be done with it. She has no friends, as she refuses to make anymore friends or bonds, fearing betrayal again.
Which is why I can't see her joining a club or buddying up with someone naturally by herself. She did that one. It ended baddly She downed a bottle of pills and hung herself.
...
I told you she was troubled. She's far more troubled then you think. Most of her plot arc would be her becoming comfortable in her own skin again, and willing to come out and be herself again. (as well as dealing with her own sexuality...if this "bishy" attracts guys or girls to her)

Well, the character I'm currently thinking of... well, she doesn't buy into the whole 2012 nonsense, and she only went to the club meeting her first time because she had nothing better to do, and she was trying to fin something that didn't bore her, and she did. In fact, while she still doesn't think anything will happen, but the club intrests her enough that she gives it three privlages she grants to no one else, and, in fact, doesn't give to the members of the club outside of it: Her full, undivided attention, senteces longer than one word, and, on occasion, polysyllabic words. The fact that she gives no one else, not even her parents, who, in fact, don't grant her those privaleges themselves, tells a lot about her character.

He is also a huge conspiracy theorist. From secret government projects, to alien cover ups, to the fair folk, and anything in-between; he suspects anyone and everyone of something. Some- mostly his grand parents- suggest that these theories stem from the anime, manga, and video games he enjoys.
Kaoru is a huge otaku, collecting loads of merchandise for shows. He is also a bit of a gambler, liking to take risks, so long as there is little effort on his part.
Recently, Kaoru's mother, Otonashi Miyumi, has become pregnant. She has not yet told her only son, Kaoru, but is planning on doing it soon; possibly the next day.
