another appearance trope...
That shouldn't have any zero context examples considering it requires a character to be an Ojou and specific placement of the ringlets.
Anyway, White-Haired Pretty Girl is done. I elaborated on the ones I could and moved the rest to the discussion page. It's also on my watchlist.

Film.Prince Of Persia The Sands Of Time has a whole bunch.
Roverandom is also suffering from a lot of this.
The Caribou Kitchen is almost entirely Zero Context.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Alright, Ojou Ringlets is done. I'm gonna keep a watch on the page as most of the zero context examples were also shoehorned examples.
Lady of War - Unfortunately most of the work pages for the respective examples are also zero context examples so the best bet is to just move the examples to the discussion.
Lady of War probably needs 90% of the "examples" removed for being "female who does something related to fighting" instead of actual examples.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Lady of War is done...well it's better. I have to agree with Arcades Sabboth even though I moved a large portion of the examples to the discussion tab I'm still not sure about some of the remaining. I'll keep a watch on the page to make sure it doesn't get worse.
Tall, Dark and Bishoujo still has a Zero Context Example problem, the edit history doesn't give me much it's gonna get better, and I'm pretty sure most of the example for that trope are focused on the physical aspect for that trope. So I'm gonna move them to the discussion.
Sidenote: I thought tropes with Japanese names weren't supposed to have or at least discouraged non-Japanese works.

Bullet Hell, I've dropped a list of some I found in the discussion, but I may have missed a few.
Don't ask me, I just fix wicks.Tall, Dark and Bishoujo is done and a hell of a lot shorter.
Also, is Wrench Wench really just "a female mechanic"? I'm trying to figure out what context needs to be on the examples.

This page The Knights Of The Silver Dragon is 100% nothing but Zero Context. No kidding.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Worse yet, checking the history, one of the tropes originally had some context, but the person adding examples removed it (possibly for consistency).
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Ugh, we really need those natterfy-like message options to go live.
EDIT: Characters.Elemental Doom has a bunch.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere. The entirety of Vulgarity For The Masses's trope list is Zero Context Examples.
"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous."Neighbors is mostly contextless.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Mitos y Leyendas is mostly this.
Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.Funny Robot is done but it still needs a description.
Moving on to Hot Scientist.
Man, we could really use a page of the wiki list some of these wicks.
Just wondering if a page is just a description and a list of zero context examples, which aren't really examples, isn't that technically a stub that can be cutlisted?
Edit: Hot Scientist is done.

Characters.AIR. Sometimes I just want to delete them all.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThis is ridiculous. You can't just mass delete examples just because there's no words after them. You might as well just cut the entire page then.
Ummm, you are in fact wrong. Wiki policy is not to leave such examples around.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerIt's a general issue with Character/ pages that they get swamped in useless examples. I too are sometimes tempted to remove any zero context example.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhat do we do with cases where a character sheet consists mainly of zero context examples? For example I could remove all the zero context examples from the Gravion character sheet but at that point there may as well not be a page.

I'd be tempted to cut it, or to empty the page to a stub.
We really need this "Zero Context Example"-fy button.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCaptainpat: Fill them in. Explain why the character meets the criteria for the trope. Many of the ZCEs aren't, if you look at the whole trope, aren't really examples. Lots of ZCEs are cases where the character matches the physical component of the trope, but not the associated meaning or intent.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.You can try searching the wicks and see if the associated trope page has any actually valid example instead of just a name.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerZero Context Example have now plagued the Character page for Wreck It Ralph.
Whatever happened to "navigating to the page of that trope yourself so you can READ AND UNDERSTAND WHY the trope applies to the topic???" We don't always need to explain why a trope fits a topic, because every trope has its own page wikilinked back to it!! Therefore, the trope Zero Context Example is needless.
This is why I am this close to quit being a trope editor.

Wrench Wench
I'm not sure that why a female mechanic is a trope but the examples should at least state what type of mechanic these characters are.
