If you were in a Five-Man Band, a Four-Temperament Ensemble or a Four-Philosophy Ensemble, where do you think you'd fit? Here's what I'd probably be:

The Hero, Melancholic, The Realist leaning towards The Optimist (if we're talking SUBGENRES).

[up] Apart from your bit of phlegmatic mix you're like the Anti-Me.

Five-Man Band - Would depend on the group, though I wouldn't be The Big Guy. Most likely The Smart Guy or The Lancer.

Temperaments - Phlegmatic, maybe a bit of Melancholic.

Philosophy - Apathetic most likely.

Stupid doomed timeline...

  • The Hero: Leadership comes and finds me it seems like at times.
  • Melancholic: PPPEEEERRRRRFFFEEEECCCTTTIIIOOONNN
  • The Realist: Take the world with a pinch of salt and enjoy that salt on your food.

Five-Man Band - Team Pet grin Also, has the elements of The Lancer

Four-Temperament Ensemble - Melancholic, most certainly.

Four-Philosophy Ensemble - normally would be Apathetic, but if we assume that this one actually worked up courage and determination to join any sort of ensemble to begin with, then probably Optimist. Heh, note that this one is not optimistic. But as the trope description goes, "Determination, loyalty to ideals, Honor Before Reason, morality or friendship over rules, self-sacrifice, feelings over facts, lack of forethought, disregard for consequences, stubbornness, optimism, blind faith, naivety, prioritizes 'the right thing' over survival" - that would be pretty much it.

If we disagree, that much, at least, we have in common

Five-Man Band: No. If I have to choose, I choose a combination of The Lancer (oh-so-jaded), The Smart Guy (I think I'm clever but not weak), and The Big Guy (I think I'm strong (and quiet, for that matter) but not dumb).

Four-Temperament Ensemble: Melancholic.

Four-Philosophy Ensemble: Mostly The Cynic, with a tiny but everpresent dash of The Realist and occasional hints of The Apathetic.

The FUCK YOUR PIGEONHOLING THAT'S WHAT

Most accurate would be the Chick, Melancholic but with elements of Phlegmatic, and the Conflicted.

Hmm, in the five man band, I would be The Smart Guy with The Big Guy look and The Chick temperament.

So in fact, I would probably be The McCoy
