Useful Notes On Bra Sizes is a page of questionable worth. It's very out of place when compared to the rest of the Useful Notes pages, and strikes me as unnecessary to the wiki as a whole. However, it has been argued that the page is a good reference, though I strongly disagree that such a reference belongs on Tv Tropes.

However that isn't my real point.

Term Equivalent Cup size Commonly Used For
  realistic unrealistic
Japanese English US UK Japan / EU US UK Japan / EU
Loli "board flat" no bra no bra no bra no bra no bra no bra Lolicon / Token Loli
Hinnyuu small AA to A AA to A AA to A AA to A AA to A AA to A Pettanko
Funyuu average B to D B to D B to D B to E B to DD B to F Ojou, Tsundere, Meido, Tall, Dark and Bishoujo
Kyonyuu large DD to F DD to E E to G F to K E to H G to L Ms. Fanservice, Femme Fatale, Hot Mom
Bakunyuu very large G to L F to JJ H to M L to S HH to M M to T Ecchi, Fetish, Hentai
Chounyuu extremely large M+ K+ N+ T+ MM+ U+ Ecchi, Fetish, Hentai (all up to eleven)

This, and the stuff related to it, however is very unsettling, very unnecessary, and very much Too Much Information. As I understand it though, this section has been deleted before but has been reversed. So I am asking for permission and support to permanently axe this section, if not cutlist the entire page.

As it is, I don't see how is this useful.

If any of the editors involved in its creations and/or anyone who has any arguments in favor would please explain.

Don't see why this should stay. If someone can come by and convince me otherwise, feel free to try, but don't get your hopes up.

Putting the chart aside for a moment... me and a few other people have been having trouble making sense of the page itself. The writing is all over the place.

Even if the page stays, I'd support a rewrite.

I support this. And, like Ivy said, if it stays, we should at least retool it a bit.

I the chart is very much needed.... I mean people make comments in anime that people are an F cup but they arnt an American F cup (B Gata H Kei's F-shita for one who would be just a D in America). People just go wtf those arnt a ___ when ever a size is brought up. As well as its proven that breast sizes go with certain tropes in anime.

Quote from B Gata H Kei

—-> Yamada: What do you want, F-shita? *looks at Miharu's Gag Boobs* —-> Miharu: *grabs Yamada's chin* My name's Takeshita. Look at my face.

Hell even the OP credits state their Japanese cup sizes in the series.

Also, I think the quote mark up doesn't work on the forum. At least, going by your post, that is.

@Ivy: Not the Quoteblocks. The quote mark up used in the wiki to put quotes at the top of the page

Huh? Different countries have different Bra Sizes. A Japanese F-Cup is not the same as an American F-Cup (it's around a D-Cup.) it's a large source of confusion.

As well as in Anime different sizes are connected with different personality types. Yamato Nadeshiko are usually a B Tsundere outside of Shana Clone are almost always a B as well the chart lists them nicely.

Because they go un-converted in works and get announced all the time. It's something useful like explaining Honorifics.

[up][up]I don't see why that needs a huge chart, a link to an off-site essay, and additional notes to explain what is essentially a translation flub.

It's a Useful Notes page... It's explaining something that gets lost in translation like explaining honorifics like Sempai/Kōhai. As well as certain bra sizes are connected with certain tropes.

WTF that's bullshit no way it should of been cut like that!
