The difference is that the definition of those genres is "stars a Magical Girl / Sentai team / Super Hero", where as a show featuring a Real Robot may be in the Super Robot Genre (eg, Dai-Guard) and vice versa (eg, ∀ Gundam).
There are Slice of Life stories that star Super Heroes (Tentai Senshi Sunred) and vice versa (Ordinary High-School Student). That doesn't mean Slice of Life and Super Hero are the same genre, it just means shows like Dai-Guard and ∀ Gundam are Genre-Busting.

They're busting what genre, though? You're claiming that Super Robot Genre and Real Robot Genre aren't really genres. So apparently they're genre busters by defying the conventions of the genre that doesn't actually exist?

Again: if Real Robot Genre and Super Robot Genre aren't legitimate genres, then where should we list all the examples currently on those pages?

We already have Mecha Show, but that's just an index. In terms of tropes, Super Robot Genre and Real Robot Genre have almost nothing to do with each other except for the presence of mecha. I thought you were saying that Super Robot Genre should be lumped with things like Mega Man and Swat Kats into a "hero uses Cool Machine to fight Monster of the Week" trope, not just lumping "mecha" into one giant thing.
