[up] Because throughout the series' history, we've been told who won the tournaments. The list is as follows:

T1: Kazuya

T2: Heihachi

T3: Jin

T4: Unknown (not the non-canon character)

T5: Jin again

T6: Also unknown (at this time at least)

I mean, throughout the entire history of the franchise, Namco has told us who won Game X's tournament on Game Y, and cop out in T4, what gives?

Again, why do you care?

Anyway, Heihachi being the official winner was written on Namco's own website before they changed it (they never archive anything). It's become commonly accepted, if you take a quick Google search. You would get answers faster if you used it more.

[up] Okay then, thanks.

On another note, why did they stop using real-life locations for stages from T2-onwards? Seemed cool, and it would be cool if there was a stage set in Washington D.C.

So, what do you guys expect for Tekken 7 when it gets made?

  • There's the possibility of Jun and Kunimitsu returning

  • More Mashima / Kazama wackiness

  • etc. (couldn't think of any other points)

I'm wondering what role Lars will play in future family conflicts. He was pretty pissed at Jin for all the shit he caused, but he's one of the few people who knows the real truth behind what Jin was doing, and that the kid isn't as evil as his Father or Grandfather (though not a saint, what with starting a world war). Will he still see Jin as an enemy to be defeated, or will he feel pity for him (while likely still wanting to put his foot up Jin's ass).

What will Jin do since his attempts to destroy the Mashima bloodline have led to so much pain for so many people? He destroyed Azazel, but still has Devil's power apparently, so he half failed at his goal (and since destroying the Mashima bloodline is his primary goal, he's essentially failed at his main goal once again).

How will Asuka play into things? Her rivalry with Lili has kept her out of the Mashima feud so far, but now she has beef with Jin (having the same last name as a tyrant from a family of tyrants who's destroying the world will do that) and will probably play a role in the plot at some point.

And then there's Jun. If she really is coming back, how will she involve herself in things? Tag Tournament 2 seems to indicate that she might not get along with Asuka's side of the family (and would explain why she told Jin to go to Heihachi instead, which turned out really well), and she might clash with the latter over Jin's fate and actions. There's also the question of what she will do about Heihachi, Kazuya and Jin himself?

.....Oh, and then there's all the other people. Not sure what to say about them.

Probably Jun will show up as some point and Kuni's return being met well means she'll be back for sure as well.

Heihachi'll obviously also stay young.

I think there is a good chance Heihachi will stay young, but there is also the chance that he'd be back to being old, but with the new VA. Enough time has passed since the old VA's death, so I don't think it would be disrespectful.

Anyway, who knows where the plot will go? There are continuing story arcs, but not a lot is foreshadowed as to the next "big thing".

Uhh, let's see...Steve and Leo will probably meet at some point, since their plots started to intersect in Tag 2.

Alisa and Xiaoyu will probably still be hanging out like they did in Tag 2 or at least be familiar with each other, in a Discontinuity Nod towards the movie.

Hmm. What else is there? If Jun is back, she is probably going to be a spirit being like Tag 2 implies her as in some of it's endings, and not straight up "oh hey, Ogre never killed me" like everyone else Ogre attacked (seriously, I am just waiting for "Old King" to reveal that he survived and went into hiding, and is pissed off at King for paling around with Marduk or whatever)

Oh right.

Forgot about Young Heihachi thing.

I can see the Xiaoyu / Alisa friendship being a thing. It also gets a nod in Project X Zone.

Maybe the writers liked it enough to make it somewhat canon.

Also, I just found this video:

Damn that's funny.

What do I want from a seventh Tekken? More animals.

Needs aliens. Definitely needs alien.

Also I want one of the Mishimas to die for good already. Preferably Heihachi.

Kazuya was an amazing antagonist in Tekken 2. I need more of that.

But Heihachi just got a new lease on life with his Youth restored (though that may not last).

I'm not sure if they are going to toss that out. Though you are right; Heihachi, Kazuya and Jin have all been at loggerheads with each other for so long, that someone really should have pulled off killing the other by now.

Plus it would be nice for Jin to accomplish killing on of his evil relatives. Although I may be wrong on that.

Probably, considering what he's capable of.

So... I just realized how funny it is that Alisa tends to fall apart easily (her head being easily removed or falling off all the time, needing to be put back together by Dragunov in his Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ending, and being just a torso and arms near the end of Blood Vengeance) when everyone in this series is metaphorically Made of Iron.

Especially since Game Play And Story Segregation means that the aforementioned Alisa can hack away at them with chainsaws and not even chop off a limb.

Kind of funny for the Robot Girl who should be Made of Iron to seem more like she was Made of Plasticine instead.

People are talking about what the story might be with Tekken 7. I have a couple of theories on this.

We could well be seeing Jun return just like Kazuya did, Darker and Edgier. So what's her deal? With the way her son is acting we are seeing world wide corporate warfare. What if she ditched Angel because The Gods Must Be Lazy and to combat Devil she turned to Unknown? In turn she becomes a Knight Templar Parent who goes through the Faceā€“Heel Revolving Door because of her goals: first stop anyone who could harm her son, second deal with Jin herself. And maybe target Kazuya while she's at it.

Enough on Jun, where do the other characters come in? How about the likes of Leo and Steve being given more focus with what was done to them? This would keep some focus on Nina as well...perhaps the conflict with Anna could be over her son? Wrestlers like King, Jaycee, Marduk, ect could be involved in competing against new Mixed Martial Arts fighters. With his regained youth Heihachi tries to regain control from Jin...maybe a Villain Team-Up with Jun? Or she might side with Lars more and his efforts against the Mishima clan.

What About Bob?? Sorry, seriously where would he fit in? What about Paul, Law, Zafina, ect? Well what if the Relationship Values that were hinted at in the last game were expanded on and as well as side and periphery characters choosing who to fight with the player had some input as well? Say Asuka encountering Lili or Jun, rather than fight, they can team up, avoid conflict, give different options on how to deal with each character.

We could even have a expanded Character Customization mode just for this purpose, where you play as a new entrant and by siding with...Heihachi say you have to fight Jun, then maybe convince her to join you in taking down her son. Surely the technology and writing would be good enough for such a feat to be possible.

Nope. Angel was just a disguise that Devil took on in Tekken 2.

Thank you Tekken Tag Tournament for spoiling that plot point for me. Course, I didn't think much of it since Kuma and Panda and Ricky and Alex were also two characters sharing one slot in that game. Pallette Swap, ladies and gentlemen.

Angel actually being Devil is a popular fan theory. I think officially she is not, but how about the idea that Jun thought Angel was good, then discovered she wasn't thus turned to Unknown? That could work.
