Shame the bass is so hard to hear on the best mix- still better than the Iggy mix, though. I feel like the best place to be would be a sorta happy medium, with more audible bass and drums but no clipping or anything...

Witch house could've been a very original sub-genre, but Salem and all those mediocre bands hijacked the term with music derivative from the goth music spectrum (as well as other stuff).

Goblin rule- interesting Dark Progressive Rock soundtracks to awesome movies... Personally, I don't object to Goth music of any kind (some of my favorite bands/artists are Goth Rock, DarkWave or Industrial of some kind or another), I just find Witch-House to be kinda an artificial genre.
Quicksilver Messenger Service - "Pride Of Man" (Technically it's a cover, but this is still my favorite version of this one. I LOVE the first two QMS albums- they're some of the best San Francisco Psychedelic Rock of the '60s- and I think the later ones are okay too. )
