Beware of unmarked spoilers for the game below.

  • Adorkable:
    • Jonah, having grown up in a noble family, is not familiar with how to do everyday chores such as laundry. Alice watches in stunned disbelief when his solution to drying his military jacket after washing it in a river while they're on the run together is to whip it around over his head.
    • Luka, in a more innocent way than his brother. He gets adorably flustered whenever he accidentally gets too close or touches the MC.
  • Angst? What Angst?: Lancelot doesn't seem too broken up about his father's death by Amon. This seems to imply that Lancelot and his father weren't close but you'd still think the guy would get brought up more in the story, especially in Lancelot's route. It sometimes seems the only reason Lancelot's father exists is to prove the Black Army's innocence and Amon's depravity and willingness to do anything to achieve his vision of the world.
  • Anti-Climax Boss: In some routes, Amon isn't even seen, let alone dealt with, in the story proper. In these cases, he's taken care of by the armies while Alice goes back to London, and by the time she returns, Amon and his followers are already behind bars. Slightly justified since, being an otome, the romance between the MC and her guy is going to take center stage. Still, when in other routes Amon is a more direct threat to Alice, having him get hauled in off-screen can be a little disappointing by comparison.
  • Awesome Art: TCB's character designs and CG artwork can be this to some.
  • Awesome Ego: Despite being arrogant to the point of hilarity, Jonah is still one of the most popular characters in the game. Many people have replayed Jonah's route numerous times, even though his route only has two endings like all the others. Many is the fan that thinks Jonah's Narcissism is warranted, or at least that it's pretty funny when it isn't.
  • Awesome Music:
    • The game's music on the title page has been lauded by some fans online as immediately lifting their moods when they hear it. Additionally, both the Black and Red armies have calmer and more subdued versions of their respective themes during light moments in the story.
    • This applies to the Magic Tower's theme music as well, as it usually plays during high stakes or climax battles in the game.
  • Captain Obvious Reveal: Amon's reveal as the leader of the Magic Tower and thus the resident Big Bad of the game is this on all routes after you've played your first one. Could also be this on your first playthrough, as Amon looks very obviously like a villain from his first appearance on screen, and that's before he opens his mouth.
  • Creepy Awesome:
    • Related to the above, whether or not someone wants Amon to get a route, they can find him and the Magic Tower as a whole to be this. Researching magic is an objectively cool profession, though the crimes committed by the Senior Disciples make the whole place fall into the "creepy" category.
    • YMMV, but in the few scenes Dalim has been in so far, you could find him as this or even Creepy Cute. The knowledge that he will have a route in the future could contribute to this thinking.
  • Escapist Character: The MC could be this for some players. She leaves her normal and relatively uneventful life behind when she unwittingly becomes a key player in a magical war in another world, wherein she also finds the love of her life.
  • Evil Is Cool: Some players might find the main villainous organization to be this. Granted, there are aspects of them that are cool or interesting, but then there are some fans who might think the negatives of their Senior Disciples' crimes outweigh the coolness of the organization as a whole.
  • Fan Nickname:
    • IkeRev for the game as a whole
    • Fenray for Fenrir x Ray
    • Cradle Crew for the Neutral characters not part of either army
  • Friendly Fandoms:
    • With Ikemen Sengoku,Ikemen Vampire, and most recently Ikemen Prince Cybird's other popular Ikemen Series games. All four are often considered one large fandom, though there are also many fans who prefer one over the others.
    • To a lesser extent with Midnight Cinderella and Destined to Love, Cybird's earlier entries in the franchise. However, it wasn't until Sengoku that the company's popularity skyrocketed, and some fans might see the older games as Early-Installment Weirdness instead, with some stating that the older games don’t have the same appeal, or that newer ones have a Recycled Plot done better citing IkeSen and IkePri as this for Destined to Love and Midnight Cinderella respectively
    • A straighter example of the trope is with A3!, a Visual Novel game by Liber Entertainment whose English localization was done by Cybird. It's not an otome, but it's still popular with fans of anime and visual novels, both of which are also mediums that coincide with Ikemen Revolution..
  • Iron Woobie: Arguably, most of the cast to some degree. Lancelot, Edgar, Kyle, Ray, Luka, and Loki probably most obviously fit this.
  • Launcher of a Thousand Ships: Alice, obviously, seeing as she can enter a romance with pretty much everyone.
  • More Popular Spin-Off: Inverted with its predecessor Ikemen Sengoku. While Ikemen Revolution is still very popular in its own right, Cybird's Ikemen Series games took off thanks to Sengoku.
  • Nightmare Fuel: What the Magic Tower has done to the prototype humans made from Magic Crystals, like Zero, all of whom but him barely lived past childhood. Alice has every reason to be horrified when she finds out about them.
  • One-Scene Wonder: Mousse Atlas, as well as Dean and Dalim Tweedle, are this since being introduced during the Japanese version of the game's second year anniversary. They only start appearing by Zero's route on, but there is a lot of artwork, both official and fan-made, of them. Justified, as they're set to be new romanceable characters sometime in the future.
  • Surprise Difficulty: Getting the 5-star gacha cards can prove to be this, unless the player is willing to spend a goodly sum of Magic Crystals to play the gacha numerous times, upping their chances of getting a higher-rated card.
