The Halloweenie Show is a yearly series starring Phelan Porteous as Halloweenie. Halloweenie attempts to show off products related to Halloween with his own style but his producers will likely put an abrupt stop to it.

This forces Halloweenie to start over and get more and more frustrated as he goes. HALLOWEENIE WILL KI– LOVE YOU ALL!

The Halloweenie series can be seen on Phelous' YouTube Channel and website.

Tropes found in this show:

  • Affectionate Parody: The Craziest Ghost Hunt Ever features Halloweenie and Pumpkinweenie having their own ghost-hunting show Paraweenie Investigations, a spoof of Paranormal Investigation shows like Ghost Hunters.
  • Animate Inanimate Object: Pumpkinweenie is a talking pumpkin with sunglasses.
  • Bad Boss: Jason Jefferies. He makes no secret about how much he hates Halloweenie. Sure, he may have a point about how much of a jerk Halloweenie is, but he also admits to deliberately trolling him.
  • Berserk Button: Halloweenie hates fun-sized candies. In-fact, anything remotely "fun-sized" causes him to fly into a rage.
  • Big "NO!": Shouts one when he realizes that there are two more episodes on the "I Sense Something Spooky" DVD.
  • Can't Live with Them, Can't Live Without Them: Halloweenie and Pumpkinweenie never truly got along on the show (primarily because of Halloweenie), but as of the 2014 episode, this trope shows. The latter turns bitter because his new co-host, Skulloweenie, is way too saccharine for his tastes, and Halloweenie makes a mini-Pumpkinweenie when trying to make a show out of garbage in an alley. Either way, for all of the fighting they did on-camera, it's clear that they miss each other.
  • Caustic Critic: The whole premise of the show involves Halloweenie (and other hosts) reviewing Halloween-related things.
  • Character Catchphrase:
    • Halloweenie: "Spoooooooky!"
    • Pumpkinweenie: "At least I tried."
  • Curse Cut Short: It's a running gag that his STUPID IDIOT- wonderful manager cuts him off when he gets too angry.
  • Deconstruction: The fifth season of Halloweenie ended up being this to the show in general. It turns out Halloweenie's tendency to try to slip curses past the censors, constantly going off script in the middle of broadcast, and generally acting like a sociopathic moron has caused the show to tank disastrously and cost the production company thousands. Literally the only reason Halloweenie wasn't fired on the spot until now was because a senile higher up in the company found his antics funny, and once he's gone, the producer of the company jumps at the chance to fire Halloweenie once the long-awaited showdown between him and Skulloweenie ended up being a disappointing Anti-Climax. Except that Halloweenie's idiocy turns out to have damaged the company's image so badly that in the end, they're forced to rehire Halloweenie, leaving him, Pumpkinweenie and the producer himself trapped in a production they now loathe.
  • Dem Bones: Subverted. Halloweenie has a giant skull for a head, but he can't do much with his USELESS FAKE- real hands.
  • Depraved Kids' Show Host: Halloweenie is sociopath, swears all the time (though it's constantly edited out), and seems to have nothing but contempt for his audience.
  • Fantastic Racism: A Running Gag in the "Halloweenie" videos is the character's hatred of witches, often to the point of him taking pleasure at the idea of them getting hurt.
  • He-Man Woman Hater: Halloweenie also doesn't seem to like women very much.
  • His Name Really Is "Barkeep": Halloweenie is his actual name. He even complains about how he loses the rights to use his actual name when he's kicked off of the show.
  • Jump Cut: Played for Laughs. Each time Halloweenie tries to say something negative/obscene, it jump-cuts to him being forced to say something more palatable (sometimes a few times).
  • Last-Second Word Swap: Often overlapped with Curse Cut Short. Take for example, this line from his review of "I Sense Something Spooky":
You're going to super-feel MY FIST UP YOUR A- bum!
  • No Celebrities Were Harmed:
  • Reading the Stage Directions Out Loud: In Costumes, Halloweenie was supposed to burp. Instead, he just said "burp," because that's what the script said.
  • Remember the New Guy?: Downplayed. It's implied that Jason Jeffries is the guy Halloweenie was yelling at in seasons 1-4, though season 5 marked his first on-camera appearance.
  • Saying Soundeffects Out Loud: In Costumes, Halloweenie was supposed to burp. Instead, he just said "burp," because that's what the script said.
  • Skull for a Head: Halloweenie's head is a giant skull. He stated earlier it was a mask, but weirdly enough, he has been shown to keep wearing it even outside of his show.
  • Spotlight-Stealing Squad: In-Universe. Season 2 starts out with Pumpkinweenie taking over as host before Halloweenie barges in. Season 3 has him replaced with Skullaweenie before Halloweenie kills him. Later he's replaced by a woman in a witch hat.
  • Stylistic Suck: The whole show has the air of a public-access TV show.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Halloweenie and Pumpkinweenie. Despite their animosity towards each other, he does seem to value Pumpkinweenie's presence.
