''Davuuwart" is a spanish Youtuber who's specialized in animations, reviews, poops and formerly gameplays.

His animations consist of parodies of video games which usually make fun of tropes and elements present in those games.

Davuuwart contains examples of:

  • Adaptational Angst Upgrade: In the BomberMan (TurboGrafx-16 version) parody the homonym character is portrayed as a resentful guy who likes to kill enemies when things don't go right for him.
  • Adaptational Badass: The Trench Coat Guy in reality is a basic enemy from the E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial game who's not much of a threat. In Davuuwart he's a stronger Serial Killer who everyone fears him.
  • Adaptational Explanation: The reason why Rayman got his name is due to him not liking the intial name Betilla gave to him (Raymundo). He demanded for a cool superhero-like name, so Betilla decides to rename him Rayman.
  • Adaptational Jerkass: A fair amount of characters are given this treatment like Mario, Sonic, Squirtle and Fox. The most well-known case of this is Kirby who's portrayed as an aggressive, grumpy and harsh boy instead of the innocent but capable boy he's in the games.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Downplayed with Barom. He wanted a bit to defeat Bomberman but he's not really evil and is concerned by Bomberman resentment.
  • Adaptational Sexuality: A lot of characters are homosexual in the Davuuwart universe like Laikitu, Donkey Kong Jr., Sonic and Minto.
  • Adaptational Ugliness: Kirby doesn't look cute like in the games, instead he has big eyebrows and a more adult face.
  • Adaptational Villainy: Flicky wants to take revenge on Sonic because he's jealous about his franchise overshadowing the popularity of his video game and because he destroyed his Badnik which was his following job.
  • Affectionate Parody: Mario Paint animation is also a parody of the Looney Tunes short, Duck Amuck.
  • All Men Are Perverts: A lot of the male characters are perverts like Kirby, Laikitu's cloud and the Hyrule builders.
  • Ambiguous Time Period: The animations are implied to take place in the same year where the game that is being parodied has been released. However there are times where the characters mention events that happened in subsequent years while other times they pretend those events haven't happened yet. Modern technology also appears in parodies. It gets lampshaded in the Super Mario RPG parody.
Mario: Anyway! Let's finish as soon as possible because I'm watching the weather on my new next generation Android phone and it's raining swords ri.....ght.
    Bowser: But wasn't this 1996?
Peach: I don't think it's worth analyzing in such a nitpicking way a stupid parody.
    Mario: Now.
  • Art Evolution: The first 3 Pokemon Locos episodes use a pixelated art style while the 4th episode use a HD art style. However, for the 5th episode the pixelated art style is brought back.
  • Art Shift: The character designs change according to the universe they are. Ranging from being pixelated to being in HD. This not only applies to the licensed characters but also to the original characters and Davuuwart himself.
  • Bowdlerise:
    • There's a version of "Kirby's 7 Days" where the swearing is censored as well as inappropiate scenes like Kirby holding Phan Phan's dick which he has confused with a trunk. Nowadays the original version is age-restricted.
    • The "Squid Game of Video Games" has a bowdlerised version too.
  • Character Signature Song: Alex Kidd has a theme song which uses the tune of his main theme.
  • Comedic Underwear Exposure:
    • In the Super Mario Kart parody Princess Peach's dress has been tangled to her kart wheels which leaves Peach in her underwear.
    • In the Ghosts 'n Goblins parody Sir Arthur strips in his underwear because he wants to make out with Prin Prin.
  • Damsel in Distress: Played for Laughs in the Ghosts 'n Goblins parody where the girls are kidnapped as a reference to old video games nature.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: The first animations had very straight-forward writing where almost nothing happens. However, the remakes expand the plots.
  • Fanservice: Sosa Gutierrez Rayo Descodificador suit is revealing.
  • Fan Disservice: "Lara Croft's Boobs" as its name states is about Kirby, Laikitu and his cloud going to see Lara's boobs.note They succeed but they are terrified when they discover her boobs are pyramid-shaped.
  • Hypocritical Humor: In "Mickey Mouse and Disney Plans" Mickey kills Scrooge Mcduck after stating they don't approve violence.
  • It's the Same, Now It Sucks!: In-Universe example, in the Mario's Time Machine parody Mario dislikes the fact that for many years his games are gonna use the same plot about saving Princess Peach. When he travels through the New Super Mario Bros. series he even complains about the backgrounds not changing much.
  • Leitmotif: ¡Él es Willy Bronkas!Translation
  • Ms. Fanservice: The main woman from the Zelda II: The Adventure of Link parody shows half of her boobs in one scene.
  • Musical Pastiche:
    • The opening of the "Atariquest" series is based on the Adventure Time theme song.
    • Psyduck's song "Soy el mejor amigo de Yveltal"Translation from The Pokemon Locos III uses the tune of the song "Happy Together" from The Turtles.
    • A lost video from the former Davuuwart Gameplays channel was about a theme song about Ludicolo based on the DuckTales theme song.
  • Naked People Are Funny:
    • Alex Kidd apears naked in the thumbnail of the Alex Kidd in the Miracle World parody. He even appears naked in a scene of the second version of the parody due to losing a bet.
    • In the Zelda II: The Adventure of Link parody Link undresses thinking he was going to make out with an Old Woman to recover his health when in reality she was going to use a potion to cure him.
  • Older Than They Look: Kiddy Kong is 47 years old but he still looks like his original self.
  • No Fourth Wall: The characters are fully aware they're videogame characters and they're appearing in animated parodies. They also completely understand how their videogames work.
  • Pokémon Speak:
    • ¡Hombre de la Gabardina! Translation
    • Wart only can say: "¡Soy el Gran Wart! Translation ¡Jo, jo, jo, jo, jo!"
    • Downplayed with Pokemon. While they can talk in this universe some of them say their names in many of their sentences like Psyduck, Squirtle, Lombre and Xatu.
  • Retcon: In this universe Donkey Kong Jr. is renamed to Kiddy Kong while Junior (II) is renamed to Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Split Personality: Tails has a galician mode.
  • Stylistic Suck: In the Donkey Kong Land and Donkey Kong Land 2 parodies the characters have to deal with the limitations of the Game Boy like the 2 playable characters from both games being hidden inside each other's bodies.
  • Take That!: As stated in the main description of the page the animations tend to satirize tropes and elements found in the games like the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl parody portraying non-playable characters as people who are limited to say what they're programmed for no matter what or the Donkey Kong Country parody making fun of the fact that apes and crocodiles are treated as people in the Donkey Kong universe while the rest of the species are treated as pets. However, there are also jabs towards company practices, politicians and fanbases.
  • They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: In-Universe examples:
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Ludicolo loves Nanab berries.
  • Verbal Tic: Waluigi often says his name.
  • Vocal Dissonance: For being a pretty woman, Sosa Gutierrez has a very raspy voice.
