"It's a foggy night at Crystal Lake Camp, and BF and GF need to take a wizz in the woods. But a certain birthday boy has a surprise in store for them."
— The mod's description.

What do you get when you mix a rhythm game where a blue-haired dude tries to woo his girlfriend and has to deal with her demonic parents and other shenanigans and one of the most famous slasher films of all time about a psychotic hulking man with a hockey mask and a machete and both starts with the word "Friday" in their titles? You get this mod... Yeah, it could sound like a Weird Crossover at first, but let's remember that this isn't the first time said blue-haired dude battled a superpowered zombienote  (or other zombies...or practically anything else in general), so it's not that far-fetched as it seems.

Directed by ElectrolitoH and released on Halloween, nonetheless, this mod has you rap battle against none other than Jason Voorhees, the mysterious masked Nigh-Invulnerable slasher who kills anyone (except for (most) animals and children below 14 years old) who sets foot on Camp Crystal Lake or gets in his way, and the ones who he definetly hates the most are people who... *ahem*... get freaky on any night. And Boyfriend and Girlfriend are two of the unlucky ones who decided to chill on a cabin there.

An update called FRIDAY NIGHT THE 13TH v1.5.1 (also known as "THE FUNK EDITION") added new songs along with remixes.

The mod can be downloaded on GameBanana here.

Not to be confused with 13th Friday Night: Funk Blood, another mod based on Friday the 13th, nor with the 1989 NES game or the 2017 survival horror game of Friday the 13th (although there are references in this mod, as well). Remember, this is Friday Night the 13th.

Kill them, Jason! Kill the tropers for mother!:

  • Acceptable Breaks from Canon: As many people know already, one of Jason's signature traits is that he's a Silent Antagonist, yet he very, very, very, veeeery rarely grunts or even talks at all in his home franchise, as shown in this video. The most he ever spoke was at the time he was a kid (and in hallucinations where he appears as a kid) and in the infamous scene in Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday where he's possesing a police near the climax. However, if this rule was still applied in this mod, it wouldn't be just as fun to play, would it? Besides, his vocals... fits him pretty well, actually.
  • Adaptational Context Change: While kid Jason still falls on the Crystal Lake because of his bullies, in this mod, is due to one of them (Thom) throwing a microphone at him instead of the gang of bullies pushing him like in the original movie.
  • Adaptational Modesty: Girlfriend in this mod swaps out her usual dress and heals for a t-shirt, skirt, leggings and boots, the full ensemble being much less revealing than her normal attire.
  • Adaptational Personality Change: Boyfriend and Girlfriend are two Fearless Fools in their source material and in other mods, with their only canon fear being that of lightning (and probably being separated as a couple). Here, they're both nervous of Jason, probably because of his status as a supernatural killer. This is especially jarring with Girlfriend, maybe because Jason may have such power that makes even her terrified. Boyfriend also feels uneasy when he encounters both Jason and Freddy on the "Sweet Dreams" week.
  • Ambiguous Ending:
    • We don't know what happened to Boyfriend in the Among Us week once he battled the Impostor Jason. Considering he brutally dies in the Game Overs, there's a chance he might have survived his encounter, since he won.
    • The "Pixel Jason" week has the same ending as the original game:
You have finally managed to defeat Jason... But is he really dead? We're not telling!! End..
  • Art Shift: The Among Us week obviously changes the design of the characters to look like Crewmates (and one Imposter), while the "Pixel Jason" week has the 8 bit artstyle and UI of the Friday the 13th NES game.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Just like in Week 7 from the main game, and taking the place of Tommy Jarvis, Pico confronts Jason to save Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Sadly, while he managed to save the latter, he was too late to save the former.
  • Bittersweet Ending:
    • In the "One Unlucky Night" week on the Story Mode, Pico managed to save Girlfriend from Jason's clutches by killing him with endless bullets, but Boyfriend became one of the many victims on Jason's death agenda, and even if Jason was killed, this is his Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter's incarnation, meaning that he was alive back then and he will still return from the dead in Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.
    • The "Pixel Jason" week leans more towards the "sweet" side of the spectrum (well..."sweet" in the context of the films, at least). Aside from the Ambiguous Ending in which Jason might still be alive, not only you managed to survive with your friends like in the game but, if the events are the same, then you also managed to save the children from Jason's clutches, having even more alive people to tell the tale.
  • Bloodier and Gorier: Doing justice to the source material it represents, this mod is way more gorier and brutal in its deaths than other mods, comparable to the Happy Tree Friends mods.
  • Chase Scene: Ironically not present in the song "The Chase", where Jason's more like stealthily stalking the couple. Where it is played straight is in "Death In The Corner" to both Boyfriend and Girlfriend and "Final Demise" to just Boyfriend.
  • Death by Adaptation: Boyfriend dies at the hands of Jason in the "One Unlucky Night" week by having his head cut off and embedded on a tree using his machete and has his body opened like a piƱata.
  • Dies Differently in Adaptation: Jason in "One Unlucky Night", who's his alive incarnation in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, gets killed by Pico's endless bullets from his uzis than from Tommy Jarvis' frantic hacks with his own machete, which makes sense considering that Pico takes the latter's role in this mod.
  • Evil vs. Evil: Freddy vs. Jason in the "Sweet Dreams" week, Jason vs. Sonic.exe in "Slow Night", Chucky vs. Plushie Jason in "Marketable Problems", and Jason vs. Tricky in "Improbability".
  • Immune to Bullets: To demonstrate his Made of Iron status even while still alive, "Blammed Knife" shows Jason tanking Pico's bullets from his uzis, albeit still taking damage. This ends up getting subverted, though, as Pico manages to finally kill him (albeit in his former living state).
  • The Many Deaths of You: Hoo boy, this mod ain't soft at all with its death scenes and it really shows you how brutally your character can perish. Just to name the ones from the previous version before the update:
    • Failing in both "The Chase" and "Death In The Corner" will show Girlfriend being killed by Jason's butcher knife thrown in the back of her head, while Boyfriend watches in shock, only for him to be impaled through the sides of his head by an hurled harpoon just seconds later.
    • There're 2 deaths in "Final Demise", fittingly for 2 characters being played in different scenarios.
      • In the first part, when Boyfriend is running from Jason, failing will show Jason slicing Boyfriend's head in half with his butcher knife and immediately smash it with his bare hands, while then shaking his hands over Boyfriend's standing headless body until you retry, to which Jason will give you the middle finger, probably because he knows Boyfriend will respawn again and his kill was for nothing.
      • The second part will show Jason bashing Girlfriend's head against the CB radio while she's calling Pico, probably already having killed Boyfriend beforehand.
    • Missing any bullet notes with Pico or have Pico's health bar completely drained in "Blammed Knife" will show Jason piercing Pico's chest with his hands and tearing him in half. Then his hands will start shaking like in Boyfriend's death in "Final Demise" until you retry, to which Jason grabs Pico's brain, which have the shape of the word "Retry" like Boyfriend's.
    • Getting a Game Over in the two songs of the Among Us week will show a back view of Boyfriend getting perfectly cut in half by Jason's machete while the Impostor kill Scare Chord sounds. Then Jason looks directly at the camera while one of his hollow eyes from the mask glows red while visibly shaking. His red glow twinkles when you retry.
    • If you fail in both songs in the "Pixel Jason" week, Boyfriend/Girlfriend drops dead while the original game's Game Over screen pops up, showing the "You and your friends are dead" message (implying there were other people with him, probably the same six camp counselors from the original game, who got killed either before or after you die) and Jason's mask having a crack on the top and a knife in one of the eyeholes.
  • Mythology Gag:
  • Non-Human Undead: Jason is a revenant Imposter in the Among Us week and a revenant Grunt in "Improbability".
  • Play as a Boss: The player takes control of Jason in the two "Freddy vs. Jason" songs in the "Sweet Dreams" week (discounting the one where BF's present in their fight), who's the "less evil" of the two.
  • Properly Paranoid:
    • In "The Chase", we see Boyfriend and Girlfriend walking in The Lost Woods while hearing an unknown voice from someone Behind the Black, so of course they're gonna be nervous.
    • The Crewmates already have to deal with Imposters impersonating as the people from their crew, giving them extra points in the paranoia department, but this time, they now have to deal with an undead Nigh-Invulnerable slasher who, by the time of "Bloody Smear", has already massacred most of the group. The Red Crewmate has all the rights to be terrified.
  • Shout-Out:
  • Turns Red: While it could be said that Jason gets this in the chase scenes in "Death In The Corner" and "Final Demise", where the pace is notoriously faster, this is more noticeable in "Blammed Knife", where Jason is shown literally turned red and shaking in rage at Pico, while also draining his health while singing.
  • Villain Opening Scene: "Bloody Smear" starts with a Red Crewmate visibly frightened by the situation he's into with the Crewmate Boyfriend, having almost all of his companions brutally murderer by an unknown killer. Cue the Impostor Jason slicing his cranium in half with his machete and battling a stressed Boyfriend.
  • Whole Episode Flashback: The "Momma's Boy Week" takes place in the very first movie, where Jason was a child and was bullied before he became the slasher we know, and Pamela Voorhees goes on a killing spree on Camp Crystal Lake to avenge her son's "death", only this time, the mod team take the roles of the bullies.
  • Would Hit a Girl: As expected, Jason has no qualms in killing Girlfriend should she gets a Game Over in the "One Unlucky Night" week and in the "Pixel Week".
