Tropes:

  • Adaptational Nice Guy:
    • In canon, Boyfriend and Girlfriend are rude to anybody but each other. In this mod, they help Lily, a stranger that they just met, return her memories per her request, even if she ends up dying again.
    • Downplayed with Daddy Dearest, who still orders to have an assassin sent out to kill Boyfriend, but this mod better demonstrats how much he cares for his daughter as he requests her home not to get her away from Boyfriend, but because of a flesh-eating zombie on the loose. He also granted Lily's request to a duet song. He's also established to have been friends with Lily's mother. By extension, Mommy Mearest also applies as she is the one who invited Lily to the event and even convinced Daddy Dearest that the girl isn't trying to take advantage of him.
  • Ascended Fangirl: Lily was a big fan of Daddy Dearest growing up. On her road to becoming a popstar, she actually gets the opportunity to engage in a battle with him.
  • Cassandra Truth:
    • At the start of the mod, Daddy Dearest demands Girlfriend to come home early because of a Flesh-Eating Zombie. Girlfriend brushes it off as a lie to get her away from Boyfriend. The two of them have a run in with Lily shortly after.
    • In the prequel week, Lily says she gave her umbrella to a little girl resulting in her elegant dress getting soaked and prompting her to put on casual clothes which her manager assumes to be a lie. At the end of the week, it is revealed to not be a lie when they meet the very same girl who thanks Lily for giving her the umbrella.
  • Cute Monster Girl: Despite being a zombie that wants to eat your flesh, you gotta admit that Lily is cute.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: When she was alive, Lily had blonde hair and proved to be a nice girl, giving her umbrella to a lost child, and saving a fan from a mass murderer.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: How Lily died in the first place. A deranged maniac was smashing things and was about to kill a fan of hers, which caused Lily to shove the attacker and essentially take the blow.
  • Parental Abandonment: Subverted. One of Lily's memories involves her mother saying she would cut Lily out of her life if Lily became a popstar. Once Lily regains all of her memories, that is revealed to have been a lie as her mother had secretly been supporting her as a fan to the point where she is the fan that Lily saved.
  • Redemption Equals Death: Once Lily regains her memories, she reveals she will die again because of it, all while thanking Boyfriend for helping her.
  • Revenant Zombie: Lily is a sentient zombie who consumes flesh, yet she actually wants to regain her memories despite knowing that doing so would render her lifeless once again.
  • Tragic Monster: It can't get more tragic than Lily. While she's a Flesh-Eating Zombie that wanted to devour Boyfriend at first, she not only became a zombie against her own will, but she's also surprisingly and genuinely nice despite of her condition, not being disrespectful towards the couple at any moment and even wanting to sing with BF as a mean to recover her lost memories instead of just giving in to her hunger. And even before that, she didn't think of singing for this reason in particular in the first place, but because she just accepted and respected Boyfriend's offer to sing. It also helps the fact that, while a bit of a rebel and showing ego, she was a Nice Girl when she was alive, and her death and ascension to the great beyond is completely shown as sad.
  • What If?: Week E is also called "If only I could have sung with her, then...", and shows BF singing with Lily when she was alive and living as a popstar, along with Girlfriend on the speakers.
