An uncharacteristically dark point-and-click computer game released by Disney Interactive in 1999.The game begins as Jiminy Cricket hosts a storytime session consisting of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, and Peter Pan. He soon gets bored reading the same stories he's read several times before, and decides to instead challenge the player to match each story with its ending. However, after he tears the pages out of the storybook, visions of Disney Villains appear in the air. After the visions end, the Blue Fairy enters and informs Jiminy that when he removed those pages, he inadvertently prevented the book's protagonists from finding Happily Ever After, and now Queen Grimhilde, the Ringmaster, the Queen of Hearts, and Captain Hook reign victorious. Now, Jiminy and the player must enter the stories' universes, restore the heroes' fates, and finally engage in a four-on-one battle with the villains.
This game contains examples of:
All Up To You: Jiminy Cricket can offer advice, but it's up to the player to set things right.
Card Soldier: "By order of the Queen, we have orders to be prepared to prepare to remove Alice's head!"
The Dev Team Thinks of Everything: During the brewing of True Love, if you use the Moon Star instead of the Sun Star potion, the end result creates Cinderella's prince instead. He attempts to put Cinderella's slipper on Snow White's foot, but it does not fit, so he leaves.
The Wonderland level, features the player running around the Queen of Hearts' labyrinth with a headless Alice searching for her calling head, whilst extinguishing clouds of smoke, Cheshire Cats, and evading the card guards. Just another day in Wonderland.
The final boss may also fit. The player's bedroom falls apart, revealing the villains and their armies ready to fight you.
Earn Your Happy Ending: After you defeat the villains, the Blue Fairy adds a story about your adventure to the book.
Enter Solution Here: The player wakes Snow White and rescues the Dwarfs by searching the Queen's Spell Book for spells that can summon the Prince to her lair, then mixing those spells at her cauldron.
Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Jimmy Cricket, tired of reading the same stories over and over, tries to make a game out of it by tearing the endings out of the books. Only to be told by the Blue Fairy this allows the villains to make their own endings.
What the Hell, Player?: The Blue Fairy chastises you in rhyme if you try to feed a poison apple to Queen Grimhilde, allow the clowns to abuse Dumbo repeatedly, try to leave Wonderland without Alice's head, or attempt an attack on Captain Hook after he temporarily loses his sword.
You Are Too Late: You enter Snow White's world just before she eats the apple, and are too late to save her from the Queen.
