The author is a huge fan of Kamen Rider, with many, many references through the fic, mostly thanks to Rui. When they're not Toku references, Maia's usually the main culprit.

Kamen Rider
- General:
- What does Rui say before transforming? "Henshin!", of course!
- Rui's attack splashes and names are based on attacks from Kamen Riders.
- Rui's Kiai shouts are all based on the more iconic ones belonging to various Riders. Some included; Toh! Oreya! Seiya! Seiha!
- Rui quotes various catchphrases of the protagonists frequently. Chris adopts a few from Geats.
- The transformation sequences when undergoing Relic Battle mode are based on various Riders. Rui's is based on Cross-Z Charge/Grease/Rogue, Maia's is based on Kamen Rider Saber, and Shuri's is based on Kamen Rider Vulcan.
- Maia's Dual Relic Mode transformation motion is inspired by Kamen Rider Calibur.
- The Relic Battle mode announcements are inspired by a combination of sounds from Kamen Rider 555 and Kamen Rider Zero-One (specifically, the "Ready" announcement from 555, and the "AUTHORIZE" from Zero-One).
- The Breaking the Fourth Wall script chapters are inspired by the Supplementary Plans web video series from Kamen Rider Zi-O, right down to the name.
- A few times during cooking related scenes, Rui will point skyward while quoting one of Tendou's "Grandmother said this…" proverbs.
- Akira Tachibana makes several Kamen Rider Den-O references, as his voice actor Toshihiko Seki is the voice of Momotaros.
- Rui's Unwilling Roboticization in the Lost Song arc is one to Showa-era Kamen Riders.
- Chapter 4: During the first training session, Rui performs the Mighty Kick, which is when Genjuro picks up on her inner fangirl. Hibiki then proceeds to embarrass her sister by listing off multiple catchphrases, one after the other. In order; "I'm just a passing through Kamen Rider. Remember that!" "My life is burning bright!" "Ore Sanjou!" "Now, count up your sins!"
- The adaptation for Season 1 Episode 9 has Rui and Maia play a parody of Kamen Rider Ganbarizing. They later also sing the opening for Kamen Rider W.
- Chapter 10: When talking about Kadingir, Maia mentions that all they need are panels and bottles.
- Chapter 11:
- Kagutsuchi (Rui's weapon) combines Kuuga's flaming diving kicks, with Kabuto's lightning roundhouse kicks.
- When Rui first uses the fire element of her weapon, she fails to realize she's on fire, and reacts a few seconds after noticing it. Much like the debut of Cross-Z Magma.
- Chapter 18: The first time Rui transforms into her Relic Battle Mode, she says "Cause right now… I don’t feel like losing!"
- Chapter 19: Rui and Maia sing "Finger on the Trigger" from Kamen Rider W during the singing contest, complete with cosplay.
- Chapter 26: Maia quickly asks Rui for the catchphrase of the really smart Kamen Rider. First Rui mentions "How thrilling." Then Maia clarifies the other one and Rui gives her "I've found the winning formula!"
- Chapter 27: Rui's speech is heavily inspired by Tsukasa's from the last two episodes of Kamen Rider Wizard.
- Chapter 31: When in the space mission in the opening of GX, Rui shouts "UCHUU KITAAAAAAA!"
- Chapter 32: When first facing off against Leiur and Phara, Maia and Shuri say "Your fate… is mine to decide!"
- Chapter 34's ending to Chapter 35's opening has Rui performing a homage to Kamen Rider Kuuga's brutal beatdown upon Go·Jalaji·Da. Except this time, Garie's the one on the receiving end. Coincidentally, this lines up with the two episodes that focus on said Grongi in Kuuga.
- Chapter 36:
- After learning that Carol uses her powers by burning memories, Rui compares her situation to Kamen Rider Revice.
- Rui says she'll be the final hope.
- The Ignite Module gets compared to the Hazard Trigger.
- Chapter 43:
- Rui tells Carol to "Count up her sins!" Later on she says "The law of victory is set!"
- Rui reassures Hibiki by saying that only Hibiki can "protect the place where everyone belongs."
- Chapter 45: Rui is watching episode 17 of Kamen Rider 555.
- The Chapters of the Lost Song arc are all named after Final Form Insert Themes.
- Chapter 47:
- Yumi references Girls Remix, with the Lydian trio getting keychains of Baron (Shiori), Chalice (Yumi) and Blades (Kuriyo).
- Rui asks for her friends to observe... her... henshin!
- Chapter 48 has more of the keychains. With Saber (Maria), Kiva (Kirika), Drive (Shirabe), Geats (Chris), Ex-Aid (Shuri), Blade (Tsubasa), Decade (Maia), Zi-O (Miku) and Fourze (Hibiki).
- Chapter 49 has the group do a lookup in the style of Kamen Rider W.
- Chapter 52: Several of Rui's lines were inspired by Mari's in Kamen Rider 555 20th: Paradise Regained. Mainly the talk of loss of humanity and being unable to "live in the now."
- Chapter 53:
- Rui and Maia's fight is heavily based on Gaim and Baron's final battle, as well as Specter and Necrom's battle in the rain from Ghost RE:BIRTH: Kamen Rider Specter.
- One of Maia's attack is Calamity Strike.

- Chapter 16: The main uniforms of the twins are a dead ringer for the Go-Busters.
- Chapter 17: Maia dresses up as a Phantom Thief at one point, and references two series in one line.Maia: Call me the phantom thief that’s stirring up a storm. Cause it’s showtime.
- Chapter 18: Rui taking Gungnir from Maria is directly based on when Captain Marvelous takes the The Heart of Hades from Ryuuwon in Episode 21.
- Chapter 19: When mentioning Lightning Detective Ban, Hibiki and Miku bring up Space Sheriff Gavan.
- Chapter 34: Rui declaring she'll amuse Micha to the point of tears is a line Gai Yuuki said in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger.
- Chapter 35: The passcode for the LiNKER vault in GX Chapter 5 is 2580, the henshin code for MegaSilver/the Silver Space Ranger.

Likewise, when Elfnein explains she is an alchemist herself in Chapter 33, Maia remarks that since she's already short and blond, all the homunculus needs is a metal arm and a red coat to complete the set. Maia even calls Carol the "Nullmetal Alchemist" in Chapter 41.
- Chapter 32:
- When the boat gets thrown at them, Shuri points out "That's a boat" and later refers to it as the "S.S. Plummet."
- At one point Maia refers to Jeanne as "the French Winter Soldier".
- Chapter 34:
- When undergoing the Lost Food Grievance above, Maia says her sandwich was innocent.
- When fighting Garie with Maria, Maia calls the Autoscorer "Gawr Gura."
- Maia talks about the idea of Gungnir having Mjolnir's worthiness enchantment.
- Maia points out how Carol and her Autoscorers are like a final boss and four bosses. She then said she claims dibs if the Autoscorers drop any mask remains.
- Chapter 37: Maia and Kirika rank the girls' swimsuits during the beach chapter a la Raven and Patty.
- Chapter 38: Hibiki's (and Rui's) unnamed mother in canon is given the name Asuna.
- Chapter 40:
- Kirika and Jeanne shout out Peter 2 and Peter 3's last conversation from Spider-Man: No Way Home.

- Chapter 46 ends with Tesla saying he's come to bargain.
- Chapter 47:
- Forte's fighting style is inspired by Getter 1.
- Maia comments that Maria was "the Shinn Asuka to Hibiki's Kira Yamato" from her actions in G.
- Rui's sacrifice is framed similarly to Ace.
- Chapter 50: Rui learning about the state of her body is inspired by the "Show me." scene from RoboCop (2014).
- Chapter 53: Aside from the aforementioned Kamen Rider inspiration, Rui and Maia's battle draws in elements from two fights from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny (the Freedom vs the Impulse and the Destiny vs the Infinite Justice), as well as the DEATH BATTLE! between Guts and Dimitri.
- Chapter 54: Shuri's berserk state's next state of evolution is inspired by Barbatos Lupus Rex.
