This series is well known for its many pop culture references found throughout the series. The list shows many examples found:

Chuggaaconroy

• The author really seems to be a massive fan of Chuggaaconroy, given the fact that Luigi has a Misdreavus named Affection and Kali named a Skitty Chamomile.

  • This exchange:

  Pit: How'd you build a parking lot without hands?

  Pandora: Hard work and determination.

  Ruby, while snickering: You were probably banging your head on the ground and going HARD WORK AND DETERMINATION!

  • Jaune called a Pianta a murderer as he was thrown into the abyss.
  • It's heavily implied he lived in Animal Village and made it thrive as a result before leaving. Even ProtonJon and NintendoCapriSun gets some love. The last time they heard from him, he was in some yarn-like area.
  • His Sonic Colors LP got a reference.

  Sonic Colors Announcer: Good! Great! Awesome! Outstanding! AMAZING!!!

  Weiss: All I did was do a few simple flips...

Team Fortress 2

• After a hiatus, Chibi comes back swinging by heavily referencing a very popular FPS game
  • Dante and the others dressed up like robots decked out in cardboard boxes, tin foil and metal.
  • Sonia Nevermind did a Rocket Jump to take out a UFO.
  • When Klara is a bit scared of Gloria for being Scottish, this is said:
    Klara: A-A-A-A-A Scot with a Fire-type?! That's even WORSE!
    Avery: Klara, breathe. She might be one of those Scots that are actually nice.
    Klara: G-good point.
    Avery: It could be worse... She could be drunk and have explosives on her.

Disney / Pixar

• During General Guy's ranting, he mentions this:

  General Guy: OR SO HELP ME, I'M GONNA PUT YOU INTO A BOX AND MAIL IT ALL THE WAY TO THE RUINS MYSELF WHERE YOU WILL MOST LIKELY GET SMASHED WITH A HAMMER!

  • Also, during Gaiden Chapter 104, when Reflet is asking the heroes if they've heard about the Sticker Festival before, Luigi says "By all accounts, it doesn't make sense!"
  • Toy Story gets some love.
    • Super RWBY World:
    Sarge: Use your head!
    Grif, after being turned into a battering ram: BUT I DON'T WANNA USE MY HEAD!
    • Super RWBY Chibi:
    Puni: A stranger!

    • In Frontiers, when Virtual Dark Weiss tries to get Meryl to team up and kill Weiss, the latter refuses, leading to this:
    Virtual Dark Weiss: I cannot BELIEVE you would go AWOL on me! You and I are the same! WE should team up against this good-for-nothing fake trash!
    Meryl: Tell me I wasn't this delusion–
    Virtual Dark Weiss: NO BACK TALK! I've got fire and I WILL use it to burn you!
    Meryl (turns around in amusement) You mean… using fire on a phoenix? (immediately ignites her whole body, burning Dark Weiss's hands)
    Virtual Dark Weiss: Agh! (jumps back as Meryl extinguishes herself) You used your own fire to burn me?! You could've killed me, dark! …Or should I say "traitor"?
  • Adam says this to Ilia when he reveals his plans to overthrow Sienna.
    Adam: The humans should pay for what they did to the Faunus... in fact, we should take it a step further. Humans should serve the Faunus. We Faunus have been their stepping stones for too long and we need to put them in their place and show them that the Faunus are not to be trifled with. That is how we will achieve true equality.
    Ilia: By enslaving humanity?!
    Adam: I'll enslave thousands of humans before the White Fang achieve their goal, and we'll kill anyone who gets in our way!
  • Palutena mentions to Rosalina that she has phenomenal cosmic powers in a massive living space.
  • In the second chapter of Super RWBY Galaxy, a drunken Yang believes Weiss is her conscience. Weiss begrudgingly rolls with it.
    • The lines that follow would make it count as a double reference.
    Weiss: Yes, I'm your conscience, we haven't talked in a while. How are you?
• When the heroes go into the Land of Cragnons, they come out of the door in mid-air and Blake is the one to realize this after some of them mention they feel like they're walking in mid-air.

  Blake: Wait a minute... (looks down) Oh...

  Bowser: Don't tell me... we're standing in mid-air.

  Blake: Yup...

  Bowser: We're definitely gonna be falling at any moment?

  Blake: Most likely.

  Bowser: Bring it- (they start falling) -OOOOOOOOOON!

• The 33rd chapter of Super RWBY Gaiden was a massive love letter to The 101 Dalmatians.
• When they're about to go cheer Bowser up, Ruby says this to him:

  Ruby: You're a bad guy, but that doesn't mean you're.. a... uh... bad guy...? I'm not sure where I'm going with this.

• Bowser is greeted by a wooden statue of himself at the front gate and laments he doesn't have room for it. He then turns to see a ton of wooden Bowser statues and tells himself that he oughta invest in a bigger courtyard. Ironwood then jumps out of the Trojan horse, only to get blasted away by a cannon. Sound familiar?
• The 152nd chapter of Super RWBY Chibi has two shorts based on the song ''It's Our House Now''
• Iggy's idea to distract Serpentina in Galactic Conquest Prime involves a recreation of the luau scene from The Lion King.
• In Super RWBY 3D Land, there is a boy being raised by a Zarude (a primate-like Pokemon) named Kala because his parents were killed when he was younger.
• This exchange between Maki and Ghirahim during ATMC: Skyward Sword when the latter outs the former as the reason Night Raid fell might seem familiar to fans of The Lion King:

  Ghirahim: So...do you deny it then?
  Maki: No.
  Ghirahim: Then you're GUILTY!

• In SRS Mini: Patent Pending, Anthony suggests to lose the T-Rex in New Donk City to go somewhere narrow as the T-Rex has a big head and little arms

Super Mario Bros.

• The Lost Levels gets a mention.
• Peach was wearing Luigi's clothes in Superstar Saga.

Anime / Manga

• When Iris was sharing a story, she mentioned The Dragon King Festival, The Black Clover, Nomad of Nowhere and Kombat of Death. A character in the story is referred to as Amon the Devil Champion
  • During Ilia's interrogation, she drops these two lines.
    Snake: Who are you working for!
    Ilia: I work for a guild filled with mages and one of them happens to be a fire headed doofus with a talking cat!
    Snake: That doesn't exist! *electrocutes her*
    Ilia: HNNNGH! I work for idiotic alien frogs!
• Fort Francis has a boatload of game and anime references such as: Haruhi Suzumiya, Dragon Maid, Goblin Slayer, Shield Hero, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Overwatch, Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty.
  • He even has things like a Dragon Maid poster, a Nendoroid of Edward Elric, cosplays of Yuno Gasai, Ryuko Matoi, and even Queen's Blade, and even a DVD of One Punch Man!
• When asked why Ruby is wearing a different outfit, she gives off this little gem.

  Ruby: Uh, I wanted to be the very best like no one ever was?

• Code Geass gets shown off by cosplay in the 12th chapter of Super RWBY Gaiden. However, the cosplay is very poorly made.
• When Ludwig revealed himself, he said this infamous line

  Ludwig: You were expecting Beef! But it was I, Ludwig!

• The second skit of Chapter 188 of Chibi had Mario convert his health to badge points, then, later on, he delivered a line from a certain infamous anime.
• Ruby's idea of befriending Kokoro was by using a lollipop to bring her out of her hiding spot from behind a tree.
• As demonstrated in Gaiden, the way Aria's Reanimation Semblance works is closely similar to Kabuto's Reanimation Jutsu and Sasori's human puppets. In some way, it could even be considered as a combo between the two!
• During Chapter 3 of Dread, the team encounters an engraving in the David Jaffe room which translates to "Raven Beak was here, David Jaffe is a loser". Needless to say, no one knows who David Jaffe is.
• Most of the character's Semblances or powers either reference or are heavily based on some Quirks from My Hero Academia.
  • Albedo's Nullification = Shota Aizawa's Erasure
  • Sayo's Aura Ribbons = Hanta Sero's Tape ^note With some elements of Shota Aizawa's Capturing Weapon.
  • Ieyasu's Hardening = Eijiro Kirishima's Hardening
  • Blanche's Zero Gravity = Ochako Uraraka's Zero Gravity
  • Kotoko's Athena's Valor = All Might & Izuku Midoriya's One for All
  • Maki's Bloodcurdle = Stain's Bloodcurdle
• Some of the characters also have Semblances or powers that are heavily based on some special Jutsus from Naruto.
  • Aria's Reanimation = Summoning Jutsu: Reanimation
  • Cardin's Sandblaster = Gaara's Sand Manipulation
  • Angie's Live Animation = Sai's Ninja Art: Super Beast Scroll
• Looks like Blanche has the same thoughts as Riko Sakurauchi when it comes to having a reason to fear dogs:

  "I-It's not the size I should be worried about… it's those fangs...! A-and if they bite you… death!"

Marvel

• Luigi says this after he gets spat out of the Time Hole for the first time.

  Luigi: I have been falling... FOR THIRTY MINUTES!

• Tenshi is Punched Mid-Sentence after her fight along with this quip from Yang.

  Tenshi: I'm a Celestial and I can easily- *gets pummeled by Mario, Tai, Kirby, Yang, Nora, and Dedede, and falls out of Heaven*

  Yang: Sorry, what was that? You didn't finish!

• Nora proceeds to toss Akechi into a group of monsters by playing Get Help, a game that she and Ren played in their younger years.

  Nora: *holding Akechi over her shoulder* HELP! HEEEELP! Help, my friend Akechi is dying! He needs medical attention! HELP HIM! *throws Akechi into the group of monsters to knock them down*

  Akechi: Oooof!

  Nora: Hehehe, and that's all there is to it!

  Akechi: Ugh... *to Ren* I can see why you don't like this.

• Damian, while getting heavily beaten up by Bowser and the others, attempts to try and tell everyone who he is. Bowser's response? Throw the bastard around like a ragdoll.

  Damian: ENOUGH! I am a Loss Leader, you dull creatures! A demon! And I will not be bullied by- (is suddenly tossed around like a ragdoll from the King of Awesome himself)

  Bowser: Puny demon.

• Nora goes full-on Thor: Ragnarok on the Sockops for daring to kidnap her man. She even says this:

  Nora: Bring me REN!

• When Damian boasts that he has an army, Mario quips with this:

  Damian: As you can see, I have an army!

  Mario: We have a Nora.

• After Fierce Deity!Weiss kicks Damian's ass, he tries to pull a Thanos on her, but it didn't work out so well.

  Damian: You... you should have... you should have gone for the hea- (Fierce Deity!Weiss interrupts him by freezing his head)

  Fierce Deity!Weiss: Thank you for the idea. Dolt.

• A hard battle was won, but Peach's Castle didn't survive the onslaught during the final battle with Heartless Bowser, the moment the dust settled... Qrow comes in with this line:

  Qrow: What the hell! We leave for like five minutes and the whole town went to shit!

• The last skit of Chapter 187 was filled to the brim with characters using vibranium to get the upper hand on their opponents.
• Chapter 198 of Chibi has the cast spoofing every single Marvel films released up to that point with the author doing Stan Lee's cameos, finishing in a cameo from Deadpool in a reference to The Stinger of his first film.
• Chapter 34 of Super RWBY Galaxy 2 is a massive shout-out Avengers: Endgame, with an army of heroes joining the main group via portals.
• The starting scene of the 183rd chapter of Gaiden references that one scene in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse where Miles Morales failed a test on purpose in an attempt to get himself kicked out of a highly prestigious school where he initially felt like he didn't belong in.

  Run: (shows Laura's standardized test results, all of which are marked as zero)

  Laura: (in faux surprise) Oh, Oum… are these my standardized test results? Wow, I guess that means I'm kicked out of here since I failed all of them, huh?

  Run: (taps on his desk with his red marker while giving Laura a disapproving and unamused look)

  Laura: ... Maybe I'm not just right and good enough for this school anymo—

  Run: Ms. Winchester, if a person wearing a blindfold picked the answers on a true or false quiz at random, do you know what score they would get on average?

  Laura: ... At least fifty percent?

  Run: (nods while smiling) That's correct!

  Laura: Wh-what?! But, I—

  Run: The only way to know how to get all the answers wrong is to know which answers are right. (changes the test scores from zero to one hundred then looks at Laura with stern apprehension) You're trying to quit on yourself, Ms. Winchester. And I'm not going to let that happen.

  Laura: (rolls her eyes in annoyance and defeat)

Other Films

• Dante says this after the fight with the Shrooboid Brat:

  Dante: What? Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained!

• Coco and Velvet have this conversation in Star Allies:

  Coco: I feel like I'm part of that space opera series that everyone loves so much.

  Velvet: Which one? Space Wars or Space Trek?

  Coco: Honestly... I don't know.

  • Adding on to this, Marx and Dark Meta Knight have this conversation:
    Marx: Goodness me, it's so hot here, I bet you could deep fry a human here so badly, he'd need a respiratory suit just to get around!
    Dark Meta Knight: I vote we find that someone straight away for the sheer hell of it. Might I suggest cutting off his legs and an arm so it'd be extra enjoyable to watch him trying to get out of that predicament?
    Marx: Heheheh, good idea!
    Magolor: Y'all need help...
• Marcus Toadstool and Emperor Bowser meet at a picnic table, complete with two wine glasses, similar to none other than The Princess Bride. Marcus even died when he thought he outsmarted his nemesis, only to die and Emperor Bowser comments that he has an immunity to poison.
• When Mimi starts ranting to the heroes that her plans were easily foiled and how she got trampled, she mentions this.

  Mimi: But you know what? It could've been worse! A stampede could have been summoned by a haunted board game!

• When Weiss is having a text conversation with Ruby, she decides to call her Swinub "Tusky", and Ruby comes up with something else.

  Weiss: ... That's it, I'm naming this little guy Tusky.

  Ruby: Uh... really? Personally, I would go for like, I dunno, Manny.

• Sonia Nevermind says these two lines.

  Sonia: Hasta la vista, baby! *later* It's judgment day, bitches!

• Aoi leaves Bowser and Kyoko when she realizes her attire was destroyed by the explosion. She comes back in a white tank top and short shorts. How does Bowser respond?

  Bowser: I don't know why, but you look like you're ready to fight terrorists on Christmas Eve

  Aoi: I do? Huh, well yippie kai yay then.

• Not only does Damian channel his inner RWBY Volume 8 Ironwood, but he also throws a tantrum in his tent that causes a few of his men to turn around and walk the other way.
• Chapter 98 of Chibi had the last skit start by having Don Pianta say a a line that's reminiscent of a certain famous movie.

  Don Pianta: Boys... I'm gonna make you an offer that you can't refuse.

• When SPBRR discovers the secret lab containing Metroids, Samus goes ahead and says this line.

  Blake: Is... is this how Metroids are made?

  Samus: No. This is how you play god.

• When confronting the 10 SA-X, Blake responds by saying this memorable line.

  Blake: "... That...is enough... I have had it... I have had it... WITH THESE MOTHERFUCKING X-PARASITES IN THIS MOTHERFUCKING STATION!

• Right before Nina could kill Blake, Samus responds with this.

  Samus: Get away from her, YOU BITCH!

• During the Burning of Rome Eggman starts his day off by performing a few dance moves before being interrupted by Orbot and Cubot, asking if he would like some scrambled eggs and sausages. His reaction really sells the reference

  Eggman: What do I look like, an imbecile? Of course, I would like breakfast, I LOVE THE WAY YOU MAKE IT!

• When Kraid Emerges, Grif said this funny line:

  Grif: RUN! IT'S GODZILLA!

  Panther: No you idiot! It's Kraid!"

  Grif: Still, we should still run like it's Godzilla!

• After joining up with Bowser Junior at the Comet Observatory, Neo's caption on the picture she texts to Marnie is Get in, loser. We're getting ourselves kidnapped to the Observatory!.
• When Ibuki asks if Chiaki wants to do The Perfect Run, the latter responds with "No thanks! I choose life!".
• Damian Desmond's "advice" for those going back to school in Chapter 17 of Super RWBY PSA:

  Damian: Okay, so... word of advice for anyone going back to school? Real simple: don't talk to anyone. Don't look at anyone. Don't go anywhere. Don't sit down. Don't raise your hand. Don't. Go. To the bathroom. Don't get noticed. Don't choose the wrong locker. Don't... Ah, who am I kidding...? You guys would probably be dead or be homeschooled by the end of the school year anyway.

Web Animation / Videos / Machinima

• Mario's Castle Calamity gets referenced throughout Super RWBY World by having the author have several omakes in the style of those old videos by having the characters mess up destroying the castles.
  • This later gets referenced in Chapter 90 of Chibi, with several scenarios in the style of Mario's Castle Calamity happening when the Bob-omb got turned into a dud while Bowletta still managed to get the upper hand on the heroes.
• Yang vs Tifa, though Tifa actually won this time. Jolene even mentions two people running the show wanting to watch the action unfold. Rawk Hawk threw them out.
• As everyone gets powered up from the Chaos Emeralds, Mario feels a sense of familiarity and mentions him fighting alongside Sonic and Shadow against a robotic version of Sonic.
• In Chapter 115 of Super RWBY Chibi, Adam is being squeezed by Crazy Hand. This a callback to the squeaking noise gag from Dragon Ball Z Abridged.
• One from RWBY Chibi, of all things in chapter five of Super RWBY Gaiden. In there, they reenact the scene where Weiss launches herself to a painting of Gruntilda. She even misses!
• Sarge yanks the football away from Grif similar to how a certain bald-headed kid gets messed with by one of his friends.
• Chapter 138 of Super RWBY Chibi serves as a great tribute to the beloved Hades' Misguidance series which is in itself a parody of Palutena's Guidance.
• In the 14th chapter of Super Paper RWBY, Axem Green and Black combined their attacks into one to try and stop the heroes.
• In the beach chapter of Chibi a certain Vine gets referenced.

  Neptune: I'm the sand guardian... Guardian of the sand!

  Sun: Kyogre quivers before him!

  Neptune: Screw you, big blue whale!

• In the Not Like You one shot, the way Blake meets the baby Nargacuga and how it was orphaned takes inspiration from video called Monstie shots: The Nargacuga.
• In The Burning of Rome one shot, during Eggman's announcement a bit from a different announcement starts playing due to Orbot and Cubot messing around.
• In the third chapter of Super RWBY Galaxy 2: Galactic Conquest Prime, Ridley, and Yoshi go at it as the latter swallows the Power Star, and the former later proceeds to pulverize him after Yoshi believes he's won the battle.

Sonic the Hedgehog

• Sonic X:

  • Eggman has a Roulette Machine.
  • Tails brings the Blue Typhoon to the Observatory.
  • The Metarex gets a mention.
  • This conversation:

  Weiss: Wait wait wait, hold up... you mean to tell me... that you had the most powerful jewels IN your world... and you just let them FLY AWAY?!

  Sonic: At the speed of light too. I may break the sound barrier, but not the speed of light. Not my style.

  Weiss: (grabs Sonic by the shoulders) ARE YOU CRAZY?! WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?!

  Sonic: (nonchalantly shrugging) I guess we're just gonna have to find them again!

  • The Sonic Power Cannon is used.
  • The X-Tornado is shown off at Bigmouth Galaxy.

• Sonic pulling off some impressive swordsmanship after catching Weiss's greatsword.
• Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter:

  • The third sketch of Chapter 197 of Chibi is a reference to Twitter Takeover 5's Tails Mint Intervention.

Five Nights at Freddy's

• When interacting with an animatronic in Super Nintendo World in Super RWBY Chibi Chapter 134, this line is dropped.

  Penny: Do you think they'd make some kind of restaurant filled with animatronics?

  Susie: As long as they don't kill you in the middle of the night, I don't see why not.

• During Chapter 10 of SPBRR: Fusion, when the Nightmare Boss gets mentioned, Blake is reminded of a game called Five Nights At Salem’s which Ozpin recommends they play. The description of the plot resembles that of Five Nights at Freddy's 4 in particular.
  • Hilariously the next Chibi Chapter (190), that came after this shows Umber playing said game.
• During Chapter 22 of Super RWBY Galaxy 2, Sarge asked Grif and Simmons if they remembered Doc being knocked into space by Kraid. When he referred to him as “Purple Guy”, the duo thought he was referring to either William Afton or Micheal Afton.
  • Furthermore, the original boss title for Nightmare was originally going to be “five nights at Ridley’s 4… oh wait wrong franchise - Nightmare” but it ended up being unused.

Other Video Games

• Makoto Nijima controls a rocket controlled car to get the Smash invite from Waluigi.
• Viridi mentioned she plays some Harvest Moon from time to time.
• Luigi, Neo and Marnie are sitting together on the Shine Gate eating fudgecicles.
  • Marnie even gets a Winner on her stick and wonders what that's even about.
• When looking through movies in the Yoshi Theater, Iris finds The Seven Intergalactic Rings. Nyx mentions she's read the book.
• Palutena mentions Dark Pit playing Overwatch, though she gets Brigitte's name wrong.
• This conversation:

  Rosalina: I would like to request that you all help us get the Grand Stars back... and with them, we will have enough power to go to the center of the universe to save your special friend.

  Pit: Center of the universe? Like, at the center center?

  Rosalina: Hmm, give or take fifty feet.

• A certain space ship and it's inhabitants was seen in Chapter 6 of Super RWBY Galaxy
  • That same space ship is later seen again, but it doesn't end well for one of the crewmates.
• The fight with Elephant Bird is highly reminiscent of the Torizo fight in AM2R.
• During the beach-based chapter of Chibi Gloria and Marnie wear their beach outfits from Pokemon Masters.
• The way Samus and Chell escape Aperture while driving a Warthog plus homage to the famous Warthog Run during the climactic ending of Halo 3.

Brawl in the Family

• Super RWBY Chibi - A very early Chibi skit featured Link and Ganondorf duking it out... on a tennis court.
• JINX: Star Allies had this exchange:

  Marx: Oh hi, Meta Knight... decided to take action this time? Last I checked, you were busy getting after the king who was placing bets on who would win... the sun or the moon.

  Adeleine: (turns to Dedede) You did WHAT?!

  Dedede: I still regret nothing!

• In RWBY: Isle of Armor, Zoey's Boss Subtitle was this: Gonna Clean Your Clock
• The announcement that Chibi would be ending was done in a similar style to the announcement that the Brawl in the Family comic would be coming to an end.

Cartoons

• While diving underwater during the beach chapter of Chibi, Nessa ends up finding a Pineapple.
  • Later on in that same chapter Damien ends up finding a sponge and a starfish, and says this line:
    Damien: ...What is this? A sponge and a starfish? I can't work with this!
• During Chapter 75 Futuba stumbles upon a list in the code of an online chess piece, that details the plans of Cinder. Ending with the last step having Cinder predicting that the plan would give her profit.
• During the time travel skit of Chapter 193 Aoi ended up changing the timeline to the point that it's now raining donuts .

Misc.

• Roman Torchwick gets turned into a certain orange cat when he obtained the cat bell
• Of all things to get a reference, Jeopardy! gets parodied in tribute for Alex Trebek.
• Of all things to be referenced in the 128th Super RWBY Chapter, Hades takes everyone on a tour guide and lies to a group of tourists that the Yoshi Sphinx was made by aliens.
• When Yang was explaining to Summer how she will be different from Raven she said something similar to a famous scene from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
• Ridley’s speech to Samus during SPBRR Fusion takes inspiration from a famous speech in RWBY Volume 8 where Watts gives Cinder a much-derived speech as to why she has failed in everything since Fall of Beacon.
• Shadow Roman's Speech to Yang, The Phantom Thieves, and the Investigation Team is the same speech his canon counterpart gives to Ruby Rose during the Battle of Beacon before his death.
• During the first chapter of PSA, we have this exchange:

  Sarge: ...Not to mention those Visual Novel games that I will never understand how people get entertained by those…

  Simmons: Sarge!

  Sarge: What?

  Simmons: Some people like a casual wholesome game of point-and-click or visual novel games!

  Sarge: Wholesome… HA! Tell that to Doki Doki Literature Club.

  Simmons: That's! …A fair point.

• During Sweet Mystery Galaxy, Nora went into a pancake-trance and Mine said this hilarious line that references a famous scene from a Looney Tunes cartoon.

  Mine:Whoa, girl! Whooooa! WHOA GIRL! WHOOOOOA! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEL! WHEN I SAID WHOA... I MEAN-WHOA!

• During Chapter 3 of SPBRR: Dread, David Jaffe was mentioned, referencing his infamous moment of getting stuck on the first level due to not knowing how to aim and destroy invisible blocks.
• When "Adam" revealed the X-Parasite video was a trap. Blake said this well-known abridged.

• At the end of Seven Sirens, when Gloria is reunited with Victor, Gloria repeatedly and angrily says Victor's name as the latter gets confused before a fiery aura surrounds Gloria as she yells "Victor!" prompting Victor to whimper "Oh Sugar Honey Iced Tea!" before Gloria grabs him by the collar and shoves him into a wall.
• This line from Morpho Knight in Chapter 18 of Forgotten Land might seem a little familiar.
