Spooky jamjar, of a sort - the world changes every week, and it was almost always a parody of an existing Livejournal Roleplay, although since the reboot, the mods are too lazy to work out what Livejournal Roleplays are still going. The game is currently on its... third? Fourth? reboot, the mods and players being too stubborn to let it die.
City with No Name: Many, many of the worlds. Some are given names by the players as well, such as 'Crayon Land' and 'Death Mansion.'
Continuity Reboot: Arguably in place at the moment, with the rebirth of the site totally changing the roleplay style and content. Plus, as mentioned, the mods play it faster and looser with the world choices this time around.
Death Takes a Holiday: Between the burning of Murder Mansion and the attack of the Slender Men, there is one night where no one dies at all.
Deliberate Values Dissonance: Roleplayedingly is designed to revel in the RP world's common sources of drama; the stated rules actually include things like mod favoritism and encouragement to be a jerk to other players. Interestingly, this seems to reduce genuine wank, since attempts at it tend to be dismissed as "somebody following the rules."
Driven to Suicide: Sweden and Estonia. Sweden just wants to be with his dead wife, while Estonia justifies his want to die with Someone Has to Die (even though he just wants to see his brother and his best friend again).
Temporal Paradox: Notably, the nations going back to their own repective times, meaning that Russia imprisoned Poland in 1949, so in 2009 Poland was still in a dungeon, communicating with Lithuania, who was in 1950, who then went to free Poland, and Your Head Asplode
