JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: JoJolion: In Joshu Higashikata's A Day in the Limelight arc, "Milagro Man", Joshu goes to see a Pirates of the Caribbean movie in theaters (likely On Stranger Tides, since the manga started and takes place in 2011), and buys 9 seats and sits himself in the middle so that he doesn't have to be around noisy moviegoers. After the movie, the theater holds a raffle, and Joshu wins, earning himself a figurine of Jack Sparrow.

Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: The official English YouTube upload of Joys of Seasons episode 42 features the text "Don't be a pirate unless you're Jack Sparrow" in its title.

At one point in Old West, Rattlesnake Jake expresses disdain at being summoned like a "mongrel pup". For bonus points, that quote is said in the source material by Bill Nighy, Jake's voice actor who also played Davy Jones.

Jurassic Park: In a rare reference to the ride, pre-film series, John Hammond laments the failures of the park by comparing it to the original Pirates of the Caribbean ride not working when it was first created. The Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode: "The Box" features Kiera Swan, a female weaquay pirate-turned bounty hunter, and two-time winner of the Obsidian Sphere. Kiera for Keira Knightley, Swan for Knightley's Star-Making Role of Elizabeth Swann, a female pirate, and Obsidian Sphere for Black Pearl, reads Pirates of the Caribbean.
