• As You Know: Taylor is introduced to Sean’s status as the star quarterback this way through Michelle and Craig.
• Bad Liar: Taylor calls Jake this if he calls him Aragorn, acting like he never heard of it, but accepts it since Jake admits Aragorn was a badass.
• Beach Bury: After Taylor and Quinn’s moment with the strange creature, they see Craig has buried Raj in sand.
• Dreaming of Things to Come: The opening starts with scenes of Jake, Sean and Everett Rourke before waking up on the plane to La Huerta.
• Ghost Town: When the group finally get to the hotel, they see nobody is there and dust has gathered.
• Mix-and-Match Creatures: Going with Quinn has her and Taylor discover the strange sight of a rainbow colored seahorse with butterfly wings.
• The Nicknamer: Jake’s habit of giving nicknames to people is shown here by giving one to Taylor, “Boy Scout” and “Princess for male and female respectively. Taylor does the same to Jake by calling him either “Top Gun,” “Aragorn,” “Jared Leto,” or “Hotness. Once the plane lands, he calls Michelle “Maybelline.”
• Oh, Crap!: Everyone has this reaction to the storm, especially with the lightning balls.
• The Stoic: Estela is introduced by being quiet and calm even during the storm.
• Surrounded by Idiots: During the storm, Aleister says he can’t die surrounded by morons.
• That Came Out Wrong: On Taylor’s first meeting with Sean, if “I dreamt about you.” is selected, they say it’s cause it was terrifying and not cause of Sean. Sean takes it as a compliment.
• This Cannot Be!: Quinn has this reaction to the storm, feeling like she can’t die too soon.
• This Is Reality: Sean says this to Michelle to remind her they’re not together.
• Title Drop: Going with Quinn in her premium choice has her say it when you get to the beach.
• Vomit Chain Reaction: During the storm, Raj is regretting the airport Chipotle he had. Craig says not to puke or he’ll do so as well.
• You Are Not Alone: If Taylor sits with Quinn during the storm, taking her hand has Taylor tell her she’s not alone, calming her down.
