HuniCast (pronounced Honey•cast) is a series of livestreams hosted by Ashley Nichols (professional cleanup artist) and Michael Kovach (Ashley's boyfriend, and the original voice of Angel Dust in Hazbin Hotel). It mainly features the cast and crew of the Hazbin Hotel pilot "That's Entertainment", but guests have included Ben Diskin, Jonah Scott, and the voice actors from the Lackadaisy animations (plus creator Tracy Butler). The first episode aired in December 2018. The series went on hiatus after its two-year anniversary while Ashley worked on Far-Fetched.

HuniCast provides examples of the following tropes:

  • Aroused by Their Voice: A common occurrence when the crew acts as The Tease to each other, such as this reaction to Ed Bosco using a Cajun accent:
Elsie: I am...I politely ask that you cease and desist. I am very weak for that accent.
  • Butt-Monkey: Ashley, to the point that an interview about her career contains the quote "I've built an empire off my own suffering, both in my work and my podcast!"
  • Didn't Think This Through: In the episode "No Awoos Aloud", when Ed sounds frustrated after being asked to do a Werewolf impression, Ashley starts laughing...and then she immediately starts panicking when Ed asks if he should direct it at her, since she has a thing for werewolves. Animated here.
  • Dramatic Gun Cock: After Gabriel C. Brown (singing voice of Alastor) sings "Friends on the Other Side" from The Princess and the Frog in "Hazbin the Musical", he randomly racks the slide on a pistol (animated here).
Michael: Is that an actual gun?
    Gabriel: Uhh... yeah...
Ashley: Gabe! Why did you bring a gun to the livestream?!?
    Gabriel: Uh, it's just here.
    • He later brings out a shotgun.
Want to hear a Mossberg 590?
    • Specifically invoked after an impression of Dobby from Harry Potter.
Master has presented Dobby with a Glock!
  • Hostile Show Takeover: ALASTORCAST, an episode framed as Edward Bosco (Alastor's voice actor) tying up the regular hosts and taking control.
  • Let's Play: Tangentially connected to HuniCast is "AshVox Play", in which Huni hosts Ashley and Michael have streamed themselves playing Deltarune and Sonic '06.
  • Losing Your Head: The character Ashley made to represent Ed Bosco has a basketball for a head, and as seen on her Twitter, it's detachable.
  • Malicious Misnaming: More to get a rise out of her than actual disrespect, but during the Wildfire Relief Charity Stream (and animated here), Ed intentionally refers to Elsie as "Ellie", and later "Eliza".
  • Phrase Catcher: Expect whoever is currently playing the role of The Tease to utter the words "Oh, Ashley..."
  • Politically Incorrect Hero: Ed has a... not-so-subtle hatred for Canadians.
  • Right Behind Me: In one HuniCast, Ed goes off on a mild tangent against Vivzie, sarcastically saying he'd "put her through a wall". Cue Vivzie making herself known in the call and Ed yelping in terror.
  • So Unfunny, It's Funny: A highlight from one stream (which has been animated here) is Ed Bosco (in his Alastor voice) telling a series of "dad jokes" that give Ashley a laughing fit while everyone else is deadpan.
  • Tempting Fate: During his introductory stream, Ben Diskin notes that he's always wary of taking voice request because he fears that they may be used for something sexual or fetishistic, giving as a hypothetical example that Haida saying a line about whistles could be used by people whose fetish involves putting whistles up there butts and farting sounds. 24 minutes later, one of the fans drew exactly that. Dave Capdevielle immediately lampshades it, noting that was completely his fault for saying that.
  • The Tease: One of the reoccurring sources of hilarity is how flustered Ashley reacts when others flirt with her, with Mike and Ed as the ones most commonly filling the teasing role.
  • That Came Out Wrong: Michael once phrased how hard he was to fluster as "I'm very good at taking it", which ironically led to self-flustering when he realized the implications. Animated here.
  • The Villain Knows Where You Live: Well, "villain" is pushing it, but during the BLM Helluva Charity Stream, Loona's voice actress Erica Lindbeck responds to Ed's challenge that they fight "IRL" by saying she knows where he lives. He immediately backs down, noting that she really does know where he lives.
  • What's a Henway?: At one point, Ashley and Michael were asked if they'd rather eat a brick or a "matter baby." They both express confusion over what a "matter baby" is and speculate if it'd be easier to chew than a brick, only to finally notice the pun several seconds later ("What's a matter baby?" "Nothing, baby, what's the matter with you?")
