Ne-Yo (born October 18, 1982 as Shaffer Chimere Smith) is an American Contemporary R&B and pop singer, songwriter, producer, dancer and actor. His discography includes five studio albums, one compilation and fifteen singles.

To date, he has attained nine Hot 100 top 40 hits on the Billboard Music charts, six of which reached the top ten. In addition to his work as a recording artist, he has also written and produced songs for artists such as Rihanna, Beyoncé, Céline Dion, Whitney Houston, Carrie Underwood and Enrique Iglesias.
