  • Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Libra Scale's lead single "Beautiful Monster" was a number-one hit for him in the UK, but flopped at number 53 in the US.
  • Misattributed Song: Davon Farris' "Empty Frames" has been misattributed to him, which he's addressed.
  • Refrain from Assuming:
    • He never did anything called "I Just Can't Stop". It's "Closer" you want.
    • You're out of luck if you're looking for "I Don't Mind". Try "Beautiful Monster".
    • Don't bother looking for "Boyfriend". You're actually listening to "Single".
    • The track from Non-Fiction is titled "Story Time" because a more accurate title would give away the punchline.
  • Signature Song: "So Sick" is his only #1 as a lead, although "Miss Independent" and "Closer" are also candidates due to frequent airplay.
  • Suspiciously Similar Song:
    • "She Knows" resembles Kirko Bangz's "Drank In My Cup".
    • "When You're Mad" sounds a lot like Usher's "U Remind Me".
  • Tough Act to Follow: Libra Scale and its singles flopped compared to the massive success of Year of the Gentleman. It wasn't until R.E.D. and "Let Me Love You" that things got back on track (at least until Non-Fiction derailed his radio success once again).
