  • Vandalism Backfire:
    • Toko stole a car that she thought was Kanade's. When she crashed the car, she had her son Casino vandalize the car and called Kanade to announce the news. Kanade revealed that was her brother Kairi's car, who is part of the yakuza. She was forced to work as a hostess to pay for the damages.
    • Utako spent Kanade's wedding money on expensive clothes to ruin her happiness. When both sisters meet again, she gloats about it, but Kanade reveals that said money was actually Utako's college fund. She changes her heart and becomes a good person, and she is still able to go to college thanks to a student loan from Alto.
    • Erica ruins Kanade's wedding dress because she is jealous of her wedding. When she called Kanade to announce what she did, Kanade revealed that the wedding had been over for a while. Much to Erica's dismay, the dress belonged to Teruyama, who flipped out upon seeing the destroyed dress and banned her from her nail shop. She had a change of heart after the incident and apologized to Kanade.
    • Lisa defaces a bento shop's doors in revenge after her bad review failed to get Kanade fired in revenge for the latter's refusal to give her a free bento from her shop. When she called Kanade to announce the news, Lisa finds out Kanade's workplace is Soprano Bento Shop. The place Lisa defaced, Tenor Bento Shop, actually belongs to her in-laws, of which the MIL got targeted for having purple hair like Kanade. She tries to force Kanade to pay for the damages, but she refuses and hangs up on her. Afterwards, Lisa's husband divorces her and he gets custody of their son.
    • Konomi was so possessive of her brother Narita, she ruined Haru's wedding dress at the storage room to prevent her from marrying him. When she called Haru to gloat about it, she reveals that her actual wedding dress is in her dressing room. When Haru and Narita find her, she is restrained by the staff until her mother Erica shows up and pays for the damages.
  • Verbal Tic: The mascot of the channel always says "Puni!" at the end of sentences.
  • Villainous Breakdown:
    • In this story, Kiyomi starts throwing fits of anger as Haru starts exposing her lies and Shota's reputation as a playboy. She starts exposing her true colors and cries about how it's all ruined. Her whining stopped when her own parents got sick of her crap and apologized to Haru.
    • "My friend looted my fiancé. Later, she learns the shocking facts at my wedding...": Azusa showed up to Erica and Baccarat's wedding to gloat about how Erica married a bottom-feeder while she's the Soprano IT President's wife. However, her gloating is cut short when Baccarat not only reveals he also directs an IT firm but that Soprano IT went bust six months ago. At first, she didnt' believe it, but after surfing through many news outlets that all reported the same thing, she blamed Erica for not marrying someone better for her to steal, but after being shot down by the newlyweds, Azusa could do nothing but bawl her eyes out in despair before the wedding staff took her away according to Erica's narration.
    • "My sister, who used to make fun of my small breasts, apparently stole my fiancé": One month after Haru hanged up on her sister Ran for trying and failing to steal the former's fiancé, Narita, the last shot of Ran shows her collapsed on the floor and crying. Moreover, Haru narrates that Ran and Shigeru broke up, but the former became destitute because of the loans she took to feed the latter's addiction and has to work several part-time jobs.
      Ran: Why do I have to end up like this~!! [sic]
  • Voodoo Doll: Yuka knows how to make wara ningyo and threatens to make such dolls to curse any girl who liked Alto's SNS posts. She even carried one in her bag with Kanade's name written on a paper note attached to it while she took advantage of a drunk Alto.

  • Walking Swimsuit Scene: Coach Miyu from "Teacher Brags About Her Nice Body → But When A New Teacher Tells Her Something Shocking…" invokes this trope to flaunt her attractive body; she always wears a bikini during swimming class to have the boys fall head-over-heels for her. However, this is deconstructed when the girls and eventually Coach Kairi call her out for her unprofessional behavior. However, the fanservice aspect disappears when she loses her goggles and cap after falling into the swimming pool, revealing her ugly face.
  • Wasted Beauty:
    • In "My sister, who thinks she is the most beautiful person in the world, plundered my fiancé," Haru calls her prettier yet treacherous sister Natsuko a "bitch who only has good looks" in response to her gloating about stealing the former's new fiancé. To keep her from causing further trouble to Haru, their mother pushes her out of the house. Granted, she whines about being called that and becomes hellbent on stealing Haru's fiancé.
    • In "My sister plundered my fiancé! Now my arranged marriage partner is also plundered", Ikki-san, the son of the CEO of the company where Ram is working, is described as very handsome, which is why her sister Nonoka stole him from her. However, Ikki is revealed to be an abusive male chauvinist. Ram knew about this, and recounts that Ikki was hated by all the women at the office due to his sexist behaviour, and his father had to bribe people to even get people agree to a marriage interview with him.
  • Weasel Co-Worker:
  • Wedding Smashers: Yuka broke into Alto and Kanade's wedding and claimed she is pregnant with his baby, complete with an ultrasound picture as proof. However, Alto's younger brother Shion quickly busts her scheme by revealing that it was a horse's ultrasound. Yuka broke down and admitted that it was a picture she found on the internet and ran off.
  • Weddings in Japan: If the episode features a wedding, it will always be a Western one.
  • Where Did We Go Wrong?: Ten years after leaving Ram stranded on an uncharted island to raise her sister Momo as an only child since the former was born from their mother's affair, their parents say something along the lines of this regarding Momo's habit of eating at restaurants and running off without paying, despite the couple having no one but themselves to blame for spoiling Momo and enabling her behaviors.
    Momo's Mother: I don't know why our little Momo has become like this.
    Momo's Father: She's done this several times already this month. Where did our little angel go?
  • White-Collar Crime: Kakeru was Alto's former co-worker who got fired for embezzling money. At the start of the story, he tries to goad Alto into investing, but he refuses.
  • White Flag: Kanade waves one after so much bragging from Satomi.
  • Wholesome Crossdresser: Kazuma is a crossdresser who returned from the USA after graduating high school. Kanade asked for his help to make her parents let her marry Alto, who comes from a poorly-educated family.
  • Wise Beyond Their Years: The children of the protagonists often have more common sense than the adult antagonists of the story.
  • Work Off the Debt:
    • Aki ate at a restaurant that she could not afford, even breaking an expensive piece and asked her sister Haru to pay for her. When she refused she begged the restaurant owner to allow her work off the debt to avoid jail.
    • Misuzu and her posse call Kanade out on the phone because they have to pay 3 million yen a night at a VIP suite in Disneyland because she isn't present, as they left her behind at the train station. It turns out Kanade is the heiress of a Zaibatsu family with connections to the company, which gave her the 10,000 yen discount for her graduation trip. After Haru took Kanade's phone and hanged up on Misuzu, the bullies' parents paid off the debt for them and they're last seen slaving away at a convenience store five years later.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Karin hit Kanade's baby Haru on the head to shut her up because she was annoyed by her crying. Baccarat stopped her before she can hit Haru again.
  • Writers Cannot Do Math: This story took place in 1992, and then it time skips to 2022, which is 30 years later, except that the narrative states that it is 20 years later which would make it 2012.

  • Yamato Nadeshiko: At the start of this story, Haru narrates that her younger sister Kiyomi looks like the ideal Japanese woman as her name suggestsnote . The original Japanese version also refers to Kiyomi as this verbatim.
  • Yandere:
    • Saya kidnapped his ex-girlfriend Asami when he stopped a fire that occurred at her wedding between her and Yuto. He tried to force her to take him back but she resisted and she was rescued by Ram, by calling her yakuza family and Haru who is a hacker.
    • Takada-kun kidnapped Ram in the middle of her wedding under the guise of a cop and play-arresting her. As it turns out, he took her to his house and it's revealed he was a high-school classmate and stalker of hers. When he was about to beat and have his way with Ram, Kairi shows up with real policemen to arrest Takada.
    • Yuka is obsessed with Alto and forced him to date her. Eventually Alto has had enough and broke up with her, however she was not over him and kept harassing him and his girlfriends. When Alto started dating Kanade, she tried to bust their wedding, claiming that she is pregnant with Alto's baby with an ultrasound picture as proof, but Shion quickly revealed that it was a horse's ultrasound. Yuka broke down and admitted that it was a picture that she found on the internet and ran off.
  • You Are Fat: In this story, Utako mocks her sister Kanade for being fat.
  • You Monster!:
