- Gag Nose: Rino has a noticeable, distinctive nose that stands out whenever her face is on profile.
- Gender-Blender Name:
- Kairi and Shion are both male, but they have female names.
- The male protagonist of "teacher who was kind to me as a poor mother and child suddenly disappeared and 10 years later" is named Matsuri, despite it being a girl's name.
- Getting the Boot: Natsuko is literally thrown out of her mother's house after Haru retaliated to her threats by calling her a "bitch who only has good looks". Keep in mind that the former was barred from the house for stealing the latter's ex-husband from her and refused to leave.
- Ghostly Goals: Erica's ghost was determined to seek for something in her mansion and requested Kanade's help. Turns out it was a time capsule she and her father buried when she was a kid, and when Kanade read the letter from her father, she finally ascends.
- Gonk: Takeuchi started off as the stereotypical example of an otaku, so being ugly is a given.
- Tarako-sensei, despite his name, is a male teacher who forbade female students to wear makeup. Years later, he does a 180° upon becoming the manager of a company, forcing the employees to use makeup.

- Happily Adopted: In My sister, who takes all my things, brags that she stole my boyfriend. But she was mistaken.. [sic], Kanade was an orphan since she was a baby and was adopted by Baccarat and Karin. However, her hope is cut short once her sister Milano is born, as the couple mused about taking Kanade back to the orphanage, but they keep her as their slave instead.
- Haunted House: In The parents try to get rid of their daughter and grandson, but they willingly accept it, Kanade and Alto move to a western-style house inhabited by the spirit of a fortune teller named Erica.
- Heartbreak and Ice Cream: After Alto broke up with Kanade, she became a shut-in and mentions ice cream among potato chips, pudding, cake, and cup noodles.
- Hidden Buxom: After winning the yukata contest, Ram reveals she bound her ample breasts to avoid being teased for her body.
- Hoist by Her Own Petard: Erica filled Kanade's water bottle with dirty water in revenge for stealing an Indirect Kiss from Alto by drinking his Perrier water bottle. However, Alto decides to prevent that by giving her his tumbler to keep her from drinking the water. This leads to Erica drinking the dirty water after another bout of thirst. When Kanade reveals the truth to her, she makes a run for the bathroom only for Alto and his friends to taunt her on her way until she is taken in an ambulance.
- Honey Trap: In "The underwear thief was a little boy. I lured him out in a bikini..." Alto had Kanade lounge outside in a bikini as bait for Shinsuke to catch him in the act of stealing underwear. Shinsuke obviously falls for it and tries to use the RC helicopter Kanade gave him to steal the hanging underwear only for it to fall, ending up caught by Alto when he tried to retrieve it.
- Hot Springs Episode:
- "When we went to a spa, my father-in-law came into the spa with me..." has Ram, Kairi, and her in-laws go to a hot spring. The plot revolves around Ram trying to avoid her perverted father-in-law.
- "A woman who is not confident in her figure participates in a contest! How is the result……" [sic] has Ram working herself up over going to a hot spring she was invited to since people mocked her body. The plot is kickstarted by her sisters-in-law Ayame, Yuri, and Tsubaki following them to the hot spring and forcing her into a yukata contest held at the spa.
- "A girl touching a man's body under the guise of Frank. The real Frank girl's actions are..." [sic] has Ram, her friends, and Hibana going to a hot springs resort based on the one in Throb☆Puni's Secret Bath. The plot centers on Ram trying to keep Hibana from trying to seduce Kairi with her "frank girl" shtick, which escalates into both women fighting over him at an open-air mixed bath.
- Horrible Judge of Character: Later stories depict Kanade as this, as part of her Nice Girl demeanor.
- Host Club: At a high school reunion party, Karin brags about working at one of these and the luxuries she gets from the clients.
- Hot Teacher: Kanade began to wear a swimsuit to class in order to motivate the bad students into studying. It worked so well that the other teachers began to do it too.
- Hypocrite: Ken condemns a man who was caught cheating on his wife, only to do the same thing to Kanade.

- I Have No Son!: In "Parents Doted On My Model Sister And Called Me Fat → 3 Years Later I Became A Model And…" Kae disowns her daughter Ram for eating Kohime's cake, despite the fact it was Kohime herself offered Ram part of it with no strings attached. Years later, after Ram attends a modeling contest after losing weight and winning afterward, Kae decides to take her back in and disown Kohime instead despite both sisters' protests.
- I Just Want to Be You:
- Rin starts off wearing the same accessories as Kanade's. Kanade and Alto shrug it off at first, but Teruyama warns the latter that this isn't the first time Rin does stuff like this; she copied another classmate and even stole her boyfriend. Later on, Rin copies Kanade's looks and harasses her to have Alto for herself.
- Yuka copies Haru's clothes in an attempt to replace her at the office despite not looking the part.
- Identical Twin ID Tag: My twin sister, whom I had insulated, pretended to be me and did evil things. [sic], Rui sports purple eyes and reddish dark pink hair to distinguish her from her twin sister Ram, who has blue eyes and light pink hair.
- Identical Twin Mistake: Mai called her sister Ai to gloat about stealing her husband Yuki, only to find out via videocall that Yuki is dead; the man she bedded turned out to be his delinquent twin brother Koki, who robbed her of her wallet, passbook, and seal after sleeping with her.
- Identity Breakdown: "Her parents doted only on her younger sister, but she would learn the truth about her parents" features a non-violent example. After Haru reveals her sister Natsu is actually the daughter of another man, Natsu herself suffers a crisis over it and is reduced to saying "oh no" repeatedlynote . After going home, she started overeating from the shock until gaining a lot of weight, implying she became a shell of her former self.
- I'm Going to Disney World!: The chapter "After being taunted with a wheelchair on a graduation trip and left at a train station" centers on Kanade, Haru, Misuzu, and the latter's Girl Posse going to Disneyland (Or, as written, "Dis°eyland".)
- Impersonating an Officer: Kyoko's stalker disguised as a cop to get to her and tells her he's going to arrest her unborn baby in order to have her all to himself. However, her vitriolic behavior started to break his illusions as she was a former idol. When he was about to harm Kyoko's baby, Narita showed up in the nick of time to restrain him before Officer Kairi came to arrest the stalker.
- Inconsistent Dub: Romanizations of character names can vary between stories. For instance, Ram can be Rum or Ramu in different stories.
- Inferiority Superiority Complex: In stories featuring a female main character who has to face a female antagonist who bullies her, she will usually explain that the FMC was more liked by everyone than she is, even when the stories imply it's the antagonist's fault that they're not liked.
- "My twin sister, whom I had insulated, pretended to be me and did evil things.": Rui strived to take what's precious to her twin sister Ram because people liked the latter more than the former ever since they were little.
- "I work in a lunch box shop and my mom's friends are harassing me...": Lisa picks on Kanade because the latter is way happier than her despite working at a part-time job to make ends meet.
- "My sister called me to report that my fiancé engaged to her →But then I was at the wedding...": Uta stole potential boyfriends from her sister Kanade to feel better, since Kanade was better than her.
- In Love with Looks: Casino cheated on his ugly, but kind-hearted girlfriend Teruyama to he with her beautiful, gold digging sister Erica. When Teruyama and her friend Ram catch him, he feels no guilt and tells Teruyama that the thought of having sex with her makes him want to vomit and that only a beautiful woman is worthy of being by his side.
- Insane Troll Logic: Kanade is getting packages sent to her home stolen. Kanade thinks it's her neighbor Satou, specifically because Satou wears a lot of triangle jewelry, and the triangle was the mark of a secret society, and that means Satou is involved in some sort of conspiracy which involves her stealing the unattended packages. Haru calls Kanade out on her bizarre logic. It turns out that Satou indeed had nothing to do with the thefts.
- Insidious Rumor Mill: Shiho casts Ram as a violent bully after being called out for stealing her fiance Kinoshita-kun, which leads to Ram getting transferred. After the man was fired for selling secrets to a rival company and his irreverence towards business partners, Shiho's mill turns against her when she flirted with Chief Kairi to steal him from Ram.
- Inspirationally Disadvantaged: Sae from the episode 'Because I was visually impaired,My mother said "You're a child I don't want."' [sic] fits this trope to a T, as she can somehow make beautiful paintings despite being completely blind.
- Instant Humiliation: Just Add YouTube!:
- Haru uploaded footage of Mie's in-laws mistreating her and ditching her on a deserted island to YouTube. Within a few hours, Mie's husband came to his family's house and disowned them for their actions and the family was shamed by the neighbors.
- Kanade narrates what happened after Milano failed to steal her fiancé and husband:[…] I heard Milano and my parents had gone real crazy. Them [sic] acting crazy was caught in photos and videos and it went viral as "the struggling idol try [sic] to make a comeback with her family by taking over the hotel but ended in failure".
- Insult Friendly Fire: Lisa referred to Kanade as "that purple hair staff" to get her fired from the bento shop she worked at. When that failed, Lisa vandalized the shop only to find out it belonged to her in-laws. Therefore, the bad reviews she issued towards Kanade ended up targeting her purple-haired mother-in-law instead.
- Ironic Echo: In this story, Kairi asks Ram's former parents if they regretted abandoning her. The mother says they didn't know what they were doing back then, but he orders his men to take the couple and Momo away to pay off the debt. When they protest, Kairi replies that he doesn't know what he's doing either.
- Ironic Hell: In "My parents left me on a deserted island, and ten years later I became a yakuza", Ram's parents treated her like a slave for ten years after her sister Momo's birth. When they abandoned Ram in the woods to die, Kairi and his Yakuza gang find her, and she marries him. Years later, Ram meets them again when Momo eats at Kairi's restaurant and tries to run off without paying. As payback for their misdeeds, he enslaves the three of them with no escape. Thereby he sends the mother off to mining, the father off to fishing, and Momo into a cabaret.
- Ironic Name: In "I was pretended to be dead by my family, and I took revenge," Kiyomi's name means "pure and beautiful" in Japanese. However, she only lives up to the latter, while in the former, she is a vicious spoiled brat who went out of her way to manipulate her parents into turning against her older sister Haru, got her kicked out of the house for "stealing" the boy she had a crush on, and even faked Haru's death at her wedding day to fish for sympathy.

- Karmic Rape:
- Implied in "My sister, who is adored by her parents, looted my boyfriend", after Haru told Sakura that the "Punio" guy was actually Puni, not the guy the latter slept with to spite the former. Sakura returned home crying after the alleged "Punio" hung her phone up before having his way with her.
- In "A twin thought she successfully stole her sister's fiance at the reunion but ended up with" [sic], after Kanade hung up on her twin sister Utako following the latter being tricked by Onpu into mistaking local playboy Yamada-kun for the former's fiancé, it's implied that he was about to rape her.
- "The day after my fiancée proposed to me, I got a call saying my sister had stolen my fiancée": Mikan tricked Anna into bedding Karin's stalker, Kenji. As a result, she foiled Anna's attempt at stealing Karin's fiancé, Casino. Not only that, but Kenji fell in love with Anna and tried to rape her in the middle of her call with Karin. While Karin and Casino ignored it and got married, Anna called again to apologize for what she did. In response, Karin located Kenji's apartment and called the cops on him.
- King Incognito: Kanade and Onpu help a seemingly homeless man named Alto. It is later revealed that he is wealthy when he gives them some money and they try to go to a restaurant to return the money, but were turned away by Casino, the chef for looking poor. Alto being the owner of the restaurant fired him on the spot.

- Laser-Guided Karma: In most of these stories, the antagonist gets what's coming to them at the end.
- Lethal Chef: Yoko proves herself not as good at cooking as she claims to be.
- Lifetime Movie of the Week: Stories centered on female protagonists have a G-rated version of this trope, especially when pitting them against an antagonist of the same gender who wants to spite her and steal what's dear to her, starting with her fiancé/husband. However, these stories always end with the antagonist screwing herself over into a Humiliation Conga, be it because the FMC's kids tricked her, or because of her own foolishness.
- Like Mother, Unlike Daughter: In this story, Satomi's daughter Mie doesn't take kindly to her mother's flashy attitude.
- Locked in a Room: After catching her husband Yoshikazu showering with his lover Misa and gathering evidence of the affair, the heavily-pregnant Ram nails down several tables to the shower door to lock them inside.
