A Let's Player and a member of the Yogscast.

According to her own channel description, she is a player of cute and innocent and family-friendly games, including Scribblenauts Unmasked and Pokémon X, though occasionally plays horror-themed games as well. A major player in Rythian's Minecraft series Blackrock Chronicle, where she becomes the wizard Rythian's apprentice.

She's very supportive of LGBT rights, being both lesbian and transgender herself, and has made a point of supporting fans with depression and anxiety.

Her YouTube Channel can be found here. Fair warning, her upload schedule is very erratic. However, she does livestream a fair amount on her Twitch channel, which can be found here.

Zoey Proasheck provides examples of:

  • Action Girl: Zoey's a competent player after Rythian teaches her in the mystic arts. She's also a competent gamer in general.
  • A Father to His Men: Well, a mother to her mons. She has vibes of this in Pokémon X and Y, being extremely protective of the Pokémon under her command.
  • Artificial Limbs: Ends up this way in the Tekkit Chronicles.
  • Bad Boss: Simon Lane jokes about her demanding tribute as Guild Leader from the members of their Guild Wars 2 guild.
  • Bait-and-Switch: Zoey's "Who's That Pokémon" skits at the beginning of her Pokémon series are almost never resolved the way you'd expect, often with existing mons in a deformed shape. The one time she didn't do this, everyone expected it.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Zoey proves that while she may be a nice person, she can be one hell of an aggressive gamer (minus the attitude that usually comes with it, mind you) in Civilization V. She basically starts steamrolling people with no warning, later commenting that doing so makes her feel uncomfortable.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: In Minecraft as part of her persona. Also in Civ, where she becomes very dangerous despite her persona.
  • Book Dumb: Her Civ persona claims that all her citizens are uneducated, but despite this she manages to rival Lewis Brindley, who is The Dreaded.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: In Tekkit she regularly has conversations with mushrooms and natters on about the complex politics and factions of mushroom society, but is also a fantastic decorator/designer and computer programmer.
  • Cannot Spit It Out: In Tekkit towards Rythian, usually Played for Laughs.
  • Catchphrase: "Hey good lookin's! What's cookin's?" and "It's/that's fine/normal!"
    • "Holy butts!"
  • Chastity Couple: Subverted. In contrast to Lewis and Hannah (who are no longer together), she and Fionn frequently make affectionate gestures towards one another, and numerous videos and streams have captured the sound of them kissing. Notably, the 2014 stream in which Zoey finally showed her face concluded with them smooching on-camera as a donation reward.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Once babysat a volcano and founded a "mushroom kingdom" with Barry the Mushroom.
  • Cluster F-Bomb: While Zoey doesn't swear much, Fionn probably averages more than one F word a minute on their streams.
  • Combat Pragmatist: She has shown herself not to be above pulling dirty tricks when playing competitively, and is in general a surprisingly brilliant strategist. If a game is based heavily on intelligent maneuvering and tactical thinking rather than mechanical reflexes, she'll usually win... if she isn't taken out by a lucky shot or deliberate self-sabotage.
  • Crazy-Prepared: In Tekkit, at least.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Her Cloud Cuckoolander tendencies mask almost surreal levels of competency, and she often adapts well to the games she plays. IRL, Zoey is acknowledged as being one of the best Civ V players in the Yogscast. She's also a good Pokémon player, and she has exhibited Improbable Aiming Skills in certain shooting-based games (for example, while playing Contagion (Monochrome) with Fionn, she gets almost nothing but headshots despite professing to not be very good).
  • The Cuckoolander Was Right: Turns out, the Mushroom Kingdom is completely real.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: During her fight with Malva in Pokémon, she utterly destroyed her by sending out her Mega-Evolved Blastoise Bub, and fainting every opponent with Water Pulse- this was after her Special Attack stat was reduced. The other fights were not so easy.
  • The Ditz: Comes across this way in Tekkit, but there are hints that she's not really so stupid .
  • Early Installment Wierdness: Actually did swear at Sjin in an early video after he trapped her in a room with an advancing mining drill. Her more kid friendly presentation wasn't established until she actually became a character involved in the Tekkit Server War after Sjin and Duncan blew the old one up.
  • Epic Fail: When she and Rythian are faced with a C4 in TTT, Rythian, as the detective, declares that he has a defuser and can save them both with no worry. Zoey pretty much ignores this, tries cutting a random wire and gets them both killed. The normally tolerant and patient (at least towards her) Rythian flips out.
  • Fiery Redhead: This trait sticks out even more when compared to Rythian. In real life, however, she has brownish hair.
  • Gosh Dang It to Heck!: Zoey doesn't swear on a regular basis. There is the odd exception:
    • She did swear a bit in older videos, like in Sjin's Top 10 Tekkit Terrors.
    • Subverted in her 2014 Christmas Livestream, wherein she swore everytime they raised 1000 bucks.
    • And again in her third 2015 Christmas livestream, wherein she A) swore every time the Mystery Wheel landed on Bad Spin, and B) dropped the f-bomb during a speech about her mental health.
  • He Who Must Not Be Seen: Until 2014, she was the only Yogscast member to adamantly refuse to show her face, due to a bad combination of her intense anxiety and personal fears about others having control of her image. However, she eventually started uploading pictures, and made her first appearance on live video at the end of the year. Since then, her fear appears to have slightly softened.
  • The Heart: As one Youtube commenter put it, "Zoey saved Rythian from the darkness inside himself." She might as well be this for the Yogscast in general, as she loves giving pep talks to people who suffer from depression, mental issues, and the like, and letting everyone know how much she supports them.
  • Helpless with Laughter: In the livestreamed playthrough of Resident Evil 7, Zoey and Fionn are left absolutely horror-stricken for a good chunk of the introductory section of the game. For a moment, it looks as if the finale of the first videotape is going to leave them even more terrified; however, at the very moment Jack Baker appears and the video dissolves into static, one of their donation messages happens to play - in this case, a voice booming "THAT TURNS ME ON." Both players crack up laughing, especially Zoey who goes on laughing for a good twenty seconds longer while Fionn warns the chat not to provide spoilers.
  • Hidden Depths: Has been secretly creating a laboratory under Blackrock Castle and kept tabs on every person on the server, including Rythian. In general, for all her Nice Girl tendencies, she can be surprisingly cheeky, such as pulling a dirty move, then feigning innocence.
  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: Zoey loves cats, in particular Ziggy, who by all accounts was one of the nicest cats around. Sadly, Ziggy passed away in February 2015.
  • Living Emotional Crutch: Seems to have been this to Rythian. He.... doesn't take it well, when she leaves him.
  • The Load: To Rythian in the Tekkit Let's Play, until he teaches her about Equivalent Exchange... and how to use the handsaw.
  • Motor Mouth: She has shades of it.
  • Negated Moment of Awesome: This particular moment in TTT, in which she tries to take advantage of a small window of reduced gravity to swoop over the Traitor Rythian's head and attack from behind. She nearly had it, and would've won the fight had Rythian not looked up. Rythian applauds her for it, before going back to denying he's the traitor.
  • Nice Girl: Towards pretty much everyone. That's not to say that the others are nasty, just that with her the niceness is particularly noticeable.
  • The Nicknamer: Tends to nickname random things that may not even be alive. She does this a lot in Pokémon as well.
  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: A farmer, mage's apprentice, hacker, scientist, cyborg, mushroom speaker, bandmate and fashion designer.
  • Not So Above It All: While Zoey typically takes a family-friendly approach to her videos, she occasionally delves into dark humour when playing with the others in Grand Theft Auto V and Trouble in Terrorist Town.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: Secretly a hacker and science pro, and a great spy. She stops pretending after reuniting with Rythian.
  • Official Couple: With Fionn in real life.
  • Playful Hacker: Likes to joke a lot, even when spying on others.
  • Platonic Life-Partners: With Rythian, IRL.
  • Precision F-Strike: Zoey doesn't usually swear, so any time she swears this is in effect.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: Fionn is Red, Zoey is Blue. Mostly because Fionn swears like a sailor.
  • Self-Imposed Challenge: In Pokémon X and Y, Zoey chooses not to use Xerneas in the fight against Lysandre, which would actually make it startlingly easy. She does this because she feels Xerneas deserves some rest away from the ancient superweapon that it's been trapped in. She succeeds.
  • Straight Gay: Is a lesbian. You wouldn't have known had she not said so or done some videos with her girlfriend, particularly owing to the Tekkit series.
  • Troll: In spades, although she's a much nicer and less serious example than most. If there's a cooperative collaboration with her colleagues, chances are high that she will intentionally do something wrong repeatedly that creates more trouble for everyone, all while feigning ignorance and claiming to be helping in some extremely roundabout way. That is, if she isn't firmly in her other state of play.
  • Verbal Tic: "Oh my gosh."
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: She firmly believes this about her viewers, and is willing to share her personal experiences to help them realize it.
  • You're Insane!: Says this more or less word for word to Lysandre in Pokémon X and Y.
