However, when he tries to arrest his nephew, the local garrison rebels and starts a civil war. Ervëa is declared the rightful emperor in Octinila, and has the support of the masses.   • King Shalmaneser V of Assyria and Babylon annexes Israel, and later crushes it and deports its inhabitants to Babylon when he discovers that Hoshea has been conspiring with Pharaoh Bakenranef to launch a counterattack on Assyria. (2 Kings)

722 B.C.E.

  • On the planet Almea, the empire of Munkhâsh has been sending spies to human states for decades, in order to prevent their own conquest, to sow discord among the humans to make them easier to subvert. They send ambassadors to Axunai offering to defeat Bukanel forever in exchange for the Axunemi setting up a temple to the ktuvok god Gelalh. The Axunemi reject this offer. The Jippirasti unite the Tžuro under one ruler, Kurund. There is disagreement over whether to conquer Munkhâsh or Skouras, which is exploited by the Munkhâshi. (Mark Rosenfelder’s Constructed World)

721 B.C.E.

  • On the planet Almea, Emperor Ervëa of Cad’inas occupies Cayenas, cutting off his rival Sevurias from access to the sea. Meanwhile, Munkhâsh has brutally reconquered Awoilas and Leziunea, threatening to reenter Eretald. This spurs Ervëa to resume the fight against the ktuvok empire. 718 B.C.E.

  • On the planet Almea, the region of Araunicoros joins Ervëa’s side in the Cad’inorian civil war. Bukanel begins a civil war of its own, which Axunai under Emperor Bijereis intervenes in. However, the Bucair eventually fight back and throw him out. (Mark Rosenfelder’s Constructed World)

  • Isaiah foretells the birth of the Messiah, an invasion by Assyria, the revival of Israel, and doom for the surrounding countries. (Book of Isaiah)

  • Death of Ahaz. Hezekiah becomes king of Judah. (2 Kings)
  • On the planet Almea, the loyalist faction led by Ervëa besieges Ctesifon, and drives out the usurper Sevurias, who flees. (Mark Rosenfelder’s Constructed World)

  • On the planet Almea, the Munkhâshi attempt to stop the Cad’inorian advance by sending all their reinforcements to the fortress of Gopando; it is all for naught as it is liberated easily.   • Isaiah foretells the fall of Egypt and Ethiopia to Assyria, as well as further doom. (Book of Isaiah)

  • Judah is sacked by Sennacherib I of Assyria. King Hezekiah rejects a peace treaty on the advice of Isaiah, and general Rabshakeh is then recalled to deal with a war Sennacherib has started with Ethiopia. (2 Kings, Book of Isaiah)
  • Hezekiah suffers an illness, but recovers in time to receive a delegation from king Marduk-apple-iddina II of Babylon. Isaiah foretells the fall of Judah to Babylon; then, for a change of pace, he foretells how Israel will recover from the upcoming doom and how great Cyrus will be. (2 Kings, Book of Isaiah)

701 B.C.E.

  • On the planet Almea, Lord Adesdanti of Peligi establishes a dictatorship over most of Skouras by using Tžuro as a scapegoat.   • Birth of Manasseh to Hezekiah ben Ahaz and Hephzibah. (2 Kings)
  • On the planet Almea, Munkhâsh and the múrtani invade Cad’inas in a two-pronged attack. However, the múrtani are easily repelled. (Mark Rosenfelder’s Constructed World)

697 B.C.E.

  • Munkhâsh besieges Ctesifon on the planet Almea, though the siege is broken later that year. Meanwhile, Burudusi of the Tžuro dies, and his brother Adubum succeeds him as king, taking the name Attafei. He invades Tyellakh and moves on to Munkhâsh. (Mark Rosenfelder’s Constructed World)

  • On the planet Almea, the republic of Ṭisuram rebels against the Tžuro. (Mark Rosenfelder’s Constructed World)

  • The Cad’inorian capital of Ctesifon is burnt by Munkhâsh on the planet Almea, and Gopando is retaken. Attafei advances against Munkhâsh, but occupies the elcari settlement that is in the way. (Mark Rosenfelder’s Constructed World)

  • On the planet Almea, Emperor Ervëa of Cad’inas joins his two fronts to cut off the Munkhâshi army, totally destroying it, though there are still others in the east. (Mark Rosenfelder’s Constructed World)

  • Death of Hezekiah. Manasseh becomes king of Judah. He continues Judah's sinning, which would have serious repercussions down the line. (2 Kings)

  • On the planet Almea, Emperor Ervëa of Cad’inas and Emperor Attafei of the Tžuro meet face to face, completely subjugating the ktuvoks, destroying Munkhâsh once and for all, and freeing all of their human slaves. Though a genocide of the ktuvoks is proposed, they decide against it, and instead keep the ktuvoks under strict military control. Attafei then proves himself to be no better than the ktuvoks by reenslaving the ktuvoks’ former slaves, because they did not convert to his religion.   • Gigantion is pulled into another universe by the expansionist Planet X, whose inhabitants intend to strip it of resources. The inhabitants of Gigantion use their Cyber Planet Key to enlarge both their planet and themselves (but not the resident Mini-Cons) and defeat the forces of Planet X. Planet X's last survivors, Sideways and Soundwave, sell their sparks to Unicron in exchange for revenge on Gigantion (Transformers: Cybertron).
  • At some point, the Gigantion Mini-Cons Jolt, Reverb, and Six-Speed accidentally end up on an interdimensional starship during a game of hide and seek, and wind up in the universe from which Gigantion originally came. They are found and adopted by Vector Prime (Transformers: Cybertron)

  • Babylonia lays siege to Jerusalem and wrests command of Jehoiakim away from Egypt. Several bright young Hebrews are taken as hostages to Babylon. Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah (renamed Belteshazzar, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego) manage to gain favour with Nebuchadnezzar II and attain high positions in his court. (Book of Daniel)

  • Jeremiah and Baruch write a scroll containing Jeremiah's teachings, including the prophecy about the fall of Judah to Babylonia. When Jehoiakim gets a hold of the scroll, he burns it over the wishes of his council and orders the deaths of Jeremiah and Baruch, but the prophets escape and write another, more comprehensive scroll.   • Babylonia annexes Judah. (2 Kings)

602 B.C.E.

  • Nebuchadnezzar has a dream foretelling the destruction of Babylonia and the rise of the Persian, Macedonian, and Roman empires. Daniel interprets this dream and in return Nebuchadnezzar makes him the #2 person in the empire. (Book of Daniel)

  • Jeremiah ben Hilkiah buys a field from his cousin, Hanamel ben Shallum, and hands over the deeds of sale to Baruch ben Neriah. He also foretells the defeat of Zedekiah by Nebuchadnezzar. (Book of Jeremiah)
  • Jeremiah is imprisoned by Zedekiah, but is saved by Ebed-melech, an Ethiopian eunuch. (Book of Jeremiah)

  • March 25: Ezekiel foretells the fall of Egypt to Babylonia. (Book of Ezekiel)
  • Before June:
    • Judith bat Merari seduces Holofernes and cuts off his head. (Book of Judith)
    • Jeremiah advises Zedekiah to surrender to Nebuchadnezzar and avoid a slaughter. Zedekiah doesn't listen, but officially pardons Jeremiah and allows him to live in Jerusalem. (Book of Jeremiah)
  • June 24: Babylonian forces breach the walls of Jerusalem. Zedekiah and his army flee. The army abandons Zedekiah at Jericho, where he is captured. (2 Kings, Book of Jeremiah)
  • July 21: Nebuzaradan, captain of Nebuchadnezzar's bodyguard, sacks and ruins Jerusalem. (2 Kings, Book of Jeremiah)
  • All the House of Zedekiah is killed by Nebuzaradan, and Zedekiah himself is blinded and tied to a horse to be dragged to Babylon. Most of the remaining Jews join the Israelis in Babylon, though the poorest are given farms and vineyards in exchange for loyalty to Nebuchadnezzar. Gedaliah appointed governor of Judah.   • May 30: Baruch returns the sacred vessels from Babylon to Jerusalem. He also takes all the money he raised so that high priest Jehoiakim ben Hilkiah can make a massive sacrifice to God to ensure the prosperity and longevity of Nebuchadnezzar and Belshazzar, thus guaranteeing the continued protection of Babylon to the Jews.
