This being a more light-hearted arc (at first), there’s more opportunities for laughs here.

Mario Goes to College

  • Hank Hill is teaching the Ninja club, proclaiming himself to be the next hokage before jumping out the window.
  • Luigi's justification for being able to enroll in college? He technically "took the exam." Meggy quickly shushes him.
  • Mario's immediately kicked out of Cooking 101 because he kept eating his ingredients.
  • Heavy demonstrates the ability to morph your astral form into different objects. Unfortunately for him, Luigi doesn't like his Boo form and uses the Poltergust on him.
    • Luigi ends up doing this to Mario except this time was completely on purpose.
  • Box Club. A cult that wears boxes on their heads, make fish sacrifices to boxes, and await the day the “god box” opens and brings about The End of the World as We Know It. That is all.
    • After hearing about the part with The End of the World as We Know It, Mario has to take a moment recovering from the revelation before he resumes dancing.
    • Before this, while Meggy explains how the clubs work, the Box Club takes a moment to "show [their] love for the almighty box." They do so by hugging a box, but one of them decides to dryhump it.
    Box Leader: DAMMIT JERRY!
  • The episode ends with the gang joining Box Club (only so that they can avoid hearing the stupid song again). The final scene shows everyone sitting down in a circle, with Mario having his usual stupid expression, Luigi, Boopkins and Melony looking terrified, Meggy with a You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me! face, and Bob begging someone to end his life.

Mario Suffers Infinite Detention

  • Melony wasn't kidding when she said she hasn't learned much in class. In fact, the school bully is a better teacher, albeit a mischievous one.
    • The Power lesson was to roll their necks. The teacher of that lesson is a floating head.
  • SMG4 shows up late to his meme energy class because Mario filled his car engine with ravioli. Later on, it turns out Swag got himself and Chris suspended from the military for doing the same thing to a tank. He and Mario share a hi-five over it.
    • The memes SMG4 brought to class? PINGAS!
  • Bob's reaction when Mario, SMG4 and Meggy zoom past him while he's on the toilet, destroying the cubicles in the process.
    Bob: Rude.
  • Swag's choice of detention punishment is for the students to write "Swag is Best" 1 billion times. Failure to comply will result in Swag yodeling, complete with a fitting outfit.
  • SMG4 and Meggy finished writing "Swag is best" and left the detention room, then they see Mario and Melony running screaming out of the room. Meggy knows what comes next.

Mario's Bus Trip

  • Shroomy gives the students a chance to do anything before they leave for the field trip. He especially focuses and repeats this question to Mario who doesn't say anything. It's well after the bus leaves that Mario has to take a piss...
  • Boopkins gets left behind by the bus.
  • To get back at Tari for not letting him get what he wants, Mario decides to annoy her by making movements with his mouth. This backfires spectacularly, as Tari not only finds it amusing, but joins in with her own mouth movements.
  • Bob mistakes Boopkins clinging to the bus for a gremlin and tries to knock him off the bus. He ends up having to hold onto the window himself after Boopkins grabs the stick and drags him out of the bus.
  • Saiko strangling Mario exactly like Homer strangles Bart. Better yet, if you listen closely, the audio for when this happens is used.
  • Shroomy: Hm, wonder how the students are doing.
(Shroomy turns around to see Saiko strangling Mario, with Tari trying to stop her, Niles tossing paper balls at Melony, and Bob clutching onto the window for dear life with Boopkins holding onto him for dear life, both about to fall off the bus.)
    Shroomy: Ah, such well-behaved children.
  • Shroomy sees a bear on the road. Remembering what happened a few episodes ago, he goes psychotic without going Demon Shroomy.
    • This is enough to freak Swag out.
Swag: dude you have some serious issues.
    • The bear calls his friends for backup. Cue awesome fight sce- oops never mind Shroomy gets attacked by the same bear.
  • Considering he might die in the forest, Bob thinks this is a better choice than hiking with Fishy. Sure enough, he gets attacked by a bear.
  • Mario uses Puppy-Dog Eyes to convince Tari to untie him, and then proceeds to go nuts, screaming at Swag, causing him to crash the bus. Cut to him taped to the roof of the bus. But at least he got to piss!
  • At the end, Saiko realizes Mario is missing! He's tied up in a cave of Gummi Bears that starts twerking towards him, earning a big "No!"
    • Due to an editing error, there is a Smash Cut to Shroomy shouting "Yes!". Unfortunately, this was fixed sometime after release.

Mario and the God Box

  • The opening announcement has a plush parody of "If Mario Was In Murder Drones" and ends with Luke making Mario hump the V plushie.
  • When Melony messes up, she hides into a melon.
    • Niles tells her not to give up, then quickly backtracks and tells her to do a hundred pushups.
  • SMG3 being sensitive about holding hands with SMG4 in public. SMG4 asks him if he's going to get insecure every time they train their meme powers.
    SMG3: Hey! I-I'm not insecure, you're insecure! B-Baka! [blushes]
  • When Mario's SMGs try out using meme energy offensively, they overshoot and almost hit Niles with it, making him make an uncharacteristically surprised expression before Melony activated her deity mode to save him. Instead of thanking her, Niles remarked that all she needed to tap into her power quickly was for him to be in mortal danger.
    • The actual funny part was the anime girl (speaking in a male text-to-speech voice) who was hit by the meme blast instead as a result of Melony deflecting it. The guy who was supposed to date her collapses in despair. Also, said guy is Ned Leeds.
  • While SMG1 and SMG2 display their combat skills, SMG4 has to rely on phone distractions and a Beeg SMG4 decoy and SMG3 isn't paying attention to anything because he spaced out when the Box Club leader mentioned "unlimited power."
  • The Goomba vainly tries to beat up Melony by smushing his face against her legs. On Niles' advice, she activates her deity mode. Disproportionate Retribution at its finest.
    • You can still see SMG3 thinking about unlimited power while Niles is talking to Melony.
  • ME WANT UNLIMITED POWER!
  • SMG3's last request (he doesn't die) is for the others to take care of Terrance for him. This is right after he threatens Mario's life.
  • This beautiful little bit of In-Universe Unintentionally Unsympathetic.
Melony: I almost hurt my friend back there...
Niles: Okay, first off, SMG3 is an ass.
  • Mario tosses the cult leader into the pit then assures SMG4 that the place isn't that bad. Indeed, the cult leader lands in a bright village and then asks... Crash Bandicoot to help him escape. And we all know Crash does NOT want to leave any box in sight intact.

Absolute Betrayal

Despite the hell of a Wham Episode this episode is, it still contains funny moments prior to the Wham Shot.

  • The first thing that Niles makes Melony do? Drink milk.
    Melony: Mmmm... calcium...
  • Meggy's motivational music is just plain awful.
  • SMG4 and SMG3 are training with Pingases.
  • Melony accidently snags Mario while in Fierce Deity Mode, dragging him along for a bit.
  • Niles goes to congratulate Melony on doing well with her training... Only to find she's fallen asleep again.
  • When Meggy is warning everyone that Melony is being kidnapped, SMG4 and SMG3 nonchalantly drop the meme bomb that they've been charging, making it explode behind them.
  • Epic action scene where the gang beats up a buff Slowbro. Tari quietly tiptoes towards the downed Slowbro and hits it once with a squeaky hammer.
  • Bob's the only one happy about the tear gas because it would make him high. He instantly passes out.
  • The flashback revealing how Niles caused the leader to discover Melony is the "Messiah" shows that the leader was trying to pick the lock which closed down the Box Club.

Revelations (Cinematic Trailer)

  • We have a dramatic scene of Melony!Niles and the Box Club Leader flying towards the God Box, only to find themselves pursued by a spaceship piloted by SMG3, SMG4... and a ditzy Mario typing random keys.
    • Remember when (normal) Mario mistook the Guardian Pod for a spacecraft? Well...
