This page is for funny moments in the Dragalia Life comic. For moments from the game the comics are based around, see the game's funny moments page.

  • #1 has the main party characters imaging what the Windwyrm (Midgardsormr) looks like. Notte hopes it's a cool and strong dragon, taking on the form of Agni. Zethia hopes for a beautiful and kind dragon, taking on the form of Poli'ahu, Euden (the Prince) thinks of a doll-sized animal he can cuddle, the Cynder Drake. Bonus points for the description sounding suspiciously like a certain lizard from another Cygames mobage...
  • #14 is about Celliera taking Luca out for training. When he gets back, he's bulging with muscles and also taller than everyone to Euden's horror. Turns out he was having a nightmare while Celliera and Luca are by the fire.
Celliera: Aww, Euden's dreaming about doing drills with me! He must really love training!
Luca: Somehow I doubt that's it...
  • #51 is a New Year's comic that's loaded with a Hurricane of Puns that makes Notte groan.
Ranzal: Fish for New Year's? That's what I call...SOLE food!
Luca: I wouldn't...BREAM of eating anything else!
Elisanne: I had never eaten mochi before, but this is quite...RICE!
Cleo: I've heard bad food puns before, but this one...takes the CAKE!
Notte: Aw, not you guys too!
Mym: Oh don't be so serious, Notte! If you keep whining like that, this'll become a...New Year's BRAY!
Notte: If you guys don't stop, I'm gonna PUN-ish you all!
    • This strip is also where the face for Notte's "BOOM!" sticker comes from.
  • #67 has Thaniel overhearing Euden tell Cleo that he wants fish for dinner, so he goes out to a lake looking to catch a proper big fish for dinner. After so many catches, he ends up catching a giant fish that would make Goku proud! Of course by the time he gets it back, they already ate.
  • #72 has Euden's reaction to having Wellspring Imp taken away and told to feed Ranzal instead, the last panel showing an exaggerated sad face.
  • #88 has Euden woken up by Edward who proceeds to smother Euden with his own Long List of all his minutiae from mealtime to security. While running him down the hall, Euden says to slow down or someone's gonna get hurt. That someone ends up being Edward slipping on a Banana Peel, leading to a Cranial Eruption.
    • Has a voiced dub by Euden and Edward's English voice actors, Victor Hunter and Graham Hamilton.
  • #103 has Cibella training and Celliera overhears her. Soon as Euden does, the memory of Buff Luca comes back to haunt him, only now joined by Cibella who's strong enough to crush iron. He's doing his best to talk her out of it.
  • #122 has Thaniel and Musashi catching fish for Cleo. Musashi has more than Thaniel, prompting the navy officer to propose a contest with the samurai...until Erik pops out of the water with a GIANT FISH!
  • #133 has Summer Celiera and Luca playing a watermelon smashing game. In her case, she does it blindfolded while he tosses the melon her way. She gives it a homerun smash to Luca's surprise. While he protests that's not how the game's played, she says if it splats when it lands, she wins.
  • #142 has Mym attempt another plan to get Euden to sleep with her - after her first ill-fated attempts in #129 - rather than assume a human form (which Euden is uncomfortable sharing a bed with for obvious reasons), she instead takes on an adorable version of her dragon form, which Euden has a hard time resisting. It almost works... Only for the commotion to attract the attention of the Drakes, who are also cute as a button, and Euden ends up sharing his bed with all of them, to Mym's dismay.
  • #152 and #153 has Luca starting a chain of other heroes doing In the Name of the Moon for when they transform into dragons. Euden's surprised that Midgardsormr's going along with it, but he thinks it's not so bad to the prince's surprise. The next strip has Linus doing his own for Jeanne d'Arc and Euden trying his own for Brunhilda. When it comes to Curran summoning Nyarlathotep, he gets his name wrong and says Gnarly Toestep which Euden and Heinwald saw coming. Even the Eldritch Abomination is asking, in his own verbose way, if he has to come out if Curran summons him that way. Cleo says not to try it in an actual battle.
  • #179 shows Durant takes his wolves' cleanliness as Serious Business and not because he's an animal loving softie.
    • A dub of the comic was done by both English voice actors for Euden and Durant, Victor Hunter and Deven Mack.
  • #187 involves explaining why dragons appreciate certain gifts provided even when they aren't food (mainly because they're shiny). Except Juggernaut. He doesn't realize a Kaleidoscope isn't food until he overhears Euden saying it isn't.
  • #199 has Jupiter finally take on a human form... Nah, not really, he's just holding a picture of what he'd look like in front of his face, much to Ranzal's confusion. Problem is, his beak taps against the sign when he speaks, until he ends up breaking it out of frustration. It seems he needs to suck up his pride and let Brunhilda teach him how to shapeshift.
    • Hilarious in Hindsight as his fellow greatwyrms Midgardsormr and Mercury have gone on to have playable humanoid forms, with Jupiter himself (and finally Zodiark) eventually following.
  • #212 has Laranoa introducing Durant to her dog Rolf and asks if he can make friends with his hounds. He asks if she's the kind of weirdo who names her wolves while she thinks having no names makes it hard so she calls the white and gray hounds Spot and Rover respectively. He tries to yell at her not to give them names, but they like them.
    • A dubbed version of the comic as done by Durant and Laranoa's English voice actors, Deven Mack and Cobra Ramone.
  • #275 has Curran and Lathna at the Quinbell festival when they see Nyarlathotep selling candy apples to guests. Curran is more upset that the Crawling Chaos itself is selling apples to customers, which gets Natalie yelling at him if he has a problem with her employee while Gnarly says they're sad, which Curran thinks are Crocodile Tears. Curran is made to work the stall in Nyar's place, especially after Heinwald points out he's being taken advantage of.
  • #276 has Yukata Cassandra wanting to show off her yukata in the Halidom and trips on a rock. Finding her is Berserker on his nightly patrol, though when he brings the candle to her face, he thinks she's a ghost and gets chewed out by her, now understanding why the children are afraid of him after jumping to conclusions.
  • #278-281, the "Ricardt Can't Speak to Humans" saga. Ricardt is utterly shy around people, but he's able to speak freely with the dragon Poli'ahu. She suggests talking to animals to build up his confidence and introduces him to some animal friends. Days later, he's spent so long talking to them that he can now only speak in animal. Hope and Edward see this and the Halidom butler tries to "speak" his language to say hello, while Hope thought he was trying to get Ricardt back to normal. Hope still has no idea what Ricardt is saying until Pipple comes to "talk" with him and Maribelle has to say that even with the priest's predicament, he can't speak Pipple. Hope is confused how Maribelle can understand the conversation before he remembers she can speak animal. It's now Maribelle's turn to get him back to normal and a few days later, he's able to speak normal again, but now he's started speaking like her to Hope's chagrin!
  • #296 has Ilia trying to make a device to intercept messages before finding an old cup-and-string phone. She lets Mordecai play with it by talking to the earth and surprise, he is! Somehow, that cup-and-string broke time and space and they're communicating with Luca...1000 years in the FUTURE!!
  • #297 follows up with Mordecai, completely seriously, asking about why backsides are split in two instead of three. Meene's response says it all.
Meene: Didn't expect to be talking about butts today, but okay?
  • #305 has Leonidas dealing with a squeeing fan club ever since his Heel–Face Turn that he thinks any of them could be Chelle's "kittens." When he asks a guard if he's one, it becomes a case of Gone Horribly Right as now his fans call themselves his kittens to the point he asks his sister why she needs to know what handkerchief and hair product he uses, leaving her confused, all while he's surrounded by literal kittens.
  • #315 has Kimono Luca loving New Years and kimonos, but feels like it's not the same without his bellybutton sticking out. Hanabusa is confused and Luca says that's why Cleo's so pouty. That's when Kuzunoha gives him a bellybutton that's just an X on a paper, but it works. With that, she starts selling them for the price of one fried tofu to other sylvans including Sarisse and Sylas.
  • #324 has Pazuzu curious about why the Halidom would welcome a dragon like him. A flap of his wings destroys buildings... then one of Sinoa's experiments blows the Halidom up again. His roar fills the air with poison... and it turns out someone was dumb enough to let Leif in the kitchen.
  • #342 has Notte ready to join the fight and wanting to walk like everyone else. Given she's flown everywhere all her life, her legs start shaking before long. And somehow not only does it knock aside fiends as if she's had leg day every day of her life, but it terrifies Euden so much that it's the new forbidden technique like Notte Ball used to be. And if you think that scares him, he's likely thankful Celliera didn't show up this time.
  • #346 has Xander's new party being a mashup of holiday alts: Halloween Odetta, Dragonyule Nefaria and Summer Ranzal, with Ranzal confused about what the season it is anyway. As for Xander's plan, the Treant comes out and is just as confused about which holiday to dress up for and struggles to find the right costume. Xander, commanding the others to attack the distracted Treant, calls it his "Win Before It Begins" strategy.
  • #347 has a Noodle Incident involving Luca and Daikokuten washing ashore on a deserted island. Luca laments not washing up with someone like Jurota, a ninja trained in survival, or Erik, who lived on an island for years. Daikokuten gets a case of Meat-O-Vision and bites Luca's ears thinking they're seaweed, only for him to have transformed Luca into Buff Luca! He swims the two of them back to shore. Ilia knows how Euden's gonna react...
  • #354 involves discussing the possibility of the cast shapeshifting into Notte, which by itself doesn't seem like much... until Luca brings up stealing little bits of food to fill up quick. Notte protests this and Luca winds up going without food that night. In other words, what one would expect from someone like him. Notte's faces are the real selling point, however. It's also important to note that this is the official take on the subject. Some fans have done comics on this as well, none of which will be brought up here. For obvious reasons.
  • #359 has Euden and Ranzal go to defeat some gold slimes for rupies, when Euden wonder how the slimes have lots of rupies on them. They find a family of gold slimes talking about all the shiny riches they found, and how they intend to return them to their rightful owners. Euden, Ranzal, and most likely the player's reaction is what sells it.
  • #368 has Luca looking out the window and seeing the rain come down. Luther brings up how whenever it rains, it makes his hair poof out, showing it by taking off his head band. Cleo comes in with her hair in Quirky Curls compared to how it usually is, her complaint being how she can't put on earrings. That's when Mym comes in with not just long bangs but enough hair to cover her entire face that the panel is unsure if it is her.
  • #372 has Chelsea able to smell her Luccy on Laranoa and on Ranzal, and they admit they had been "rassling" him. Ranzal offers to train Chelsea, though Laranoa is concerned about the height and weight difference until Chelsea gives Ranzal a love-powered German suplex!
  • #374 has Summer Ieyasu and Marishiten looking for souvenirs to bring home. Luca suggests a funny t-shirt, and to his shame and horror, Ieyasu picks out one which has his Buff Luca face on it! Luca's wondering who's even selling them while Marishiten can't get the shirt over her horns. Maybe he should check in with Daikokuten...
  • #377 is a Villain Episode of all things! Nedrick deals with giving out the food budget to the Agito on what their Trademark Favorite Food is. The twins Ayaha and Otoha want sushi, Ciella wants croque madame, Tartarus wants pancakes, Kai Yan wants meat while Volk wants raw meat.
    • It's even funnier in the case of Tartarus. The big, scary, and menacing Agito of Shadow... eating pancakes.
  • #381 has Summer Euden learning how to keep the fans happy, and notes that Leonidas has no trouble doing so, to his confusion. Euden then clarifies by taking Leonidas's hand, and shouts "You're a cute little kitten!", confusing his brother even further. Meanwhile, Siren watches all this unfold, and her heart is pounding. Oh no, something awoke in her.
  • #384 has Yukata Cleo making candied apples. It starts off innocently with Notte wanting her to do a strawberry until Euden presents Pipple wanting to get into the mix. Yue asks Cleo to do meat, Sylas his herbs and Erik some fish. She's having to keep the crowd away like she's training raptors.
  • #387 has Ranzal enjoying his gyro when he's confronted by Volk, who's more pissed that he bought the last gyro and now he wants the one in Ranzal's hand, even to the point of biting down on it. While Mym and Euden (both fire units who could just as easily pry Volk off) look on, Mym sees it as Ranzal sharing his food and wants to do that with her wedding cake to Euden.
  • #390 has Gabriel at Dark Styx's Milk Bar having a case of Drowning My Sorrows and getting Drunk on Milk... because Little Pi won't take baths with her or call her mama anymore.
  • #395 has the cast celebrating the Third Anniversary of both the game and the comic. Fiends interrupt the party, enraging Mym enough that she turns to Brunhilda. She fights them off and cooks a chicken with her flame breath, only for her darling to get just as roasted.
  • #400 introduces Basileus and Michael, who were complicit in the revival of Satan, though both are allowed to continue working for the Ilian Church. While Luca understands why he did it, he still has to punish Basileus, and he does it by... smacking him with his sylvan ears, while denying him the right to pet his ears. Michael, however, wants to be abused by those ears.
  • #402 has Sarisse practicing her archery with different kinds of arrows that move differently based on their feathers. When she attempts to shoot a straight arrow at her target, the arrow instead loops around and strikes an apple that Luca was about to eat. Sarisse attempts to play it off like it was her intended target all while Luca is on the ground in panic.
  • #403 has Karl and Linus arguing over who gets top bunk, eventually breaking out into a Big Ball of Violence. After an intervention from Elisanne, the two realize they want the top bunk for the exact same reason and decide to sleep on the top bunk together. Cue the two pushing due to the bed being too small for the both of them.
  • #420 has Euden balanced a spiked ball on an umbrella, to the awe of the others... at least, until Ranzal mentions that he brought taiyaki, whereupon the ball sprouts legs and asks where it is, to everyone's shock and Euden's dismay.
  • #444 just smashes the fourth wall to pieces with this strip. Bondforged Euden wants to get along with Nedrick and Beren, though Mym doesn't want it to take away from his time together with her, wishing there was more of him. He brings out his Regular, Gala, and Summer versions and asks her which one she likes the best. She responds by going into her Primal Brunhilda form and bringing up his Halloween and New Year's forms, and she doesn't care if they're not playable.
