An event so big that it needs to be split into two parts.

Event Date: September-October 2021
Event type: Raid
Element: All
Friendship Character: Harle (Part 1), Dream Summon (Part 2)
Theme Song: Honoka Watanabe - Light a Fire

This event contains examples of:

  • Bittersweet Ending: By the end of Part Two, Satan has been sealed away once more, but it comes at the cost of sealing Origa's soul alongside him, leaving her body comatose, to her sister Regina's sorrow. Basileus is slated to eventually face judgment for his crimes by having his sigil pact with Michael severed, which will kill him. Furthermore, Loki is released from his banishment by "Phares" the Progenitor, and this time, he intends to sow as much chaos as possible.
  • Body Backup Drive: The same technology Metatron used that created the duplicate Archangel's bodies used to seal away the Archdemons is used for the new bodies of the Archangels for their souls after their Heroic Sacrifice in time before the time ran out for the Apostles' lives.
  • Breaking Old Trends:
    • Instead of an anniversary doing any time travel, this time it's rooted right in the present day.
    • For the Satan boss fights, while functioning the same as most other raids for extra mode and lower, for Nightmare mode, instead of four players controlling teams of four characters, it's now 16 individual players. Also Satan is given infinite health with players instead having to do as much damage as they can within the time limit to get a high score.
    • In previous events, you could make rooms of one and fight the early raid bosses solo; some players can easily do so given all the power they attained. Here, you don't have a choice; like Invasion quests, once your party's lined up, you're thrust in a room with a full house (for anything below Nightmare that is). Asura doesn't stand a chance against a room of Adventurers fresh off of slaughtering her Time Attack version.
  • But Now I Must Go: At the end of the event, the real Harle doesn't stick around for long and leaves to go into hiding for a while, as there are many other enemies aside from Loki going after him, even when Leif and Cecile were so eager to see him again.
  • Continuity Nod:
    • In Part One, the events of Blessed Bloodline is mentioned as one of Graht's backup plans to access the Scrolls of Perdition.
    • In Part Two, the Prince mentions it is possible to transfer souls into a new body, alluding to what he learned about himself during the Faerie Kingdom.
  • Darker and Edgier: This is easily one of the darkest events in Dragalia so far, showing a gruesome onscreen slaughter of over 666 people, and the sheer death and destruction caused by Satan's revival.
  • Godzilla Threshold: Metatron sealed the memories of Sandalphon and the Five Archangels to prevent mimicry reproduction, knowledge of Satan and information about the Empyrean War from spreading, due to how horrific the consequences thereof could be. The seal on the six was only to come undone when five of them were dead; the Archangels' sacrifice to save the Apostles broke the seal on Sandalphon, who told all when pressed soon after.
  • Grand Finale: The final episode of the Satan Revival storyline.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: All of the Archangels give their lives protecting their apostles and the people of Grams against Satan. Of course, with them dead, the apostles know they will die as well within a day. However, thanks to Sandalphon, the sacrifice fortunately doesn't stick, and the archangels are brought Back from the Dead.
  • Interface Spoiler: While the Apostles are fighting the Fallen Angels, copies of previous versions met are shown (Ramiel, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel), though a glimpse of Fallen Angel Michael spoils he will be joining the playable roster, since he's the seal for the then-upcoming Surtr battle.
  • Interquel: The "This Month in Dragalia Lost" for October 2021 says this takes place between Chapters 22 and 23.
  • Lower-Deck Episode: Part 1 focuses on the Apostles, with the Prince and his team nowhere to be seen.
  • Multi-Part Episode: The event is split into two parts.
  • Number of the Beast: A sacrifice of 666 victims is needed to summon Satan's soul, and the Auspecalia is the perfect event to round up that many people.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: In Part One the Apostles manage to slay Asura, but she was using Graht as a vessel. 665 people had already been sacrificed, meaning that when Graht was killed alongside Asura, the last condition for Satan's revival was met.
  • Shapeshifting: Uriel's pet on Faris's shoulder is just a collection of mana, allowing it to first turn into Faris and be arrested in his place.
  • The Tape Knew You Would Say That: When Regina delivers a message to the apostles, she tells them that while they can hear her, she can't hear them. Nevin takes advantage of this by calling her names only for Regina to tell Pinon to report him doing such to her later.
Nevin: Okay, are we sure she can't hear us?! I KNOW YOU HEARD ME, REGINA!
  • Wham Episode: This event reveals that the Harle that's antagonized players for three years on end is a fake, and is actually a demon named Loki.
