This event contains examples of:
- Addled Addict: Cecile with Manachew. What led her to this? Harle going evil (although two events later, that would no longer be the case) and Aurelius's death. Oh yeah, and she was killing all those dragons just because Morsayati was controlling Aurelius and his death had her learn this.
- Breaking Old Trends: The Home Screen has Harle with a 3D model and vocal in the English version.
- Call-Back: One of the flashbacks takes place during Chapter 5, as Harle keeps Cecile from going to Emperor Aurelius's side.
- A Day in the Limelight: This one goes to Leif.
- Faking the Dead: While in prison, Cecile fakes being dead and Leif asks that she be untied, allowing her to knock out the guard.
- G-Rated Drug: The rock Cecile refers to as Manachew is clearly something she has developed an addiction to, and people see her biting down on it as a problem. One guy even says that it is supposed to be grinded down into powder and put into beverages.
- Laser-Guided Karma: After nearly 3 years of being a Karma Houdini, even if he manages to slip away once more, Harle gets a
long overdue, and playable, beating. - Suddenly Voiced: As stated in Breaking Old Trends, Harle was also given voiced dialogue in the event. Though this only applies to the English version, as he has had a Japanese actor since the beginning.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Cecile had killed dragons and conquered villages during Emperor Aurelius's reign until she realized it was All for Nothing.
- We Used to Be Friends: Leif, Cecile and Harle had came up from the same Knight Academy. While Harle became the evil slimeball he is today and Cecile is a Shellshocked Veteran, Leif is the only one who's stayed the same since their academy days.
