These are recommendations made by tropers for House fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. After a few samples, you will be able to note the interests of the tropers recommending them, and judge whether you might be also interested in a certain 'fic.
Feel free to add a fanfic of your own to the list, but remember to use the template found here*

or non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is Serious Business.
Reviews of fics are encouraged, but if you choose to write one, please make it substantive, and give specific details about what you liked / disliked in the fic. If you want to give a fic a thumbs-up without writing a full review, you can add your troper handle to the Recommendations Line. Please refrain from posting "Comments" or Conversation in the Main Page though; that goes in the discussion page.

Title of the Fanfic by Author OR Fic Trope Page, by Author (Link)
Recommended by: Troper Name
Synopsis: What's the story about? Give here a brief summary of the plot. It would be also useful to point out in what moment of the series the story takes place. If it's a Gen Fic but it has some romantic elements, note here the characters involved too.
Pairing(s): If it's a Shipping Fic, list here the pairings that feature in the fic (warn here if it's het, male slash or female slash). If it's a Gen Fic, remove this line. To tell the difference between the two, notice if the focus of the fic is on a romantic relationship or if it focuses on the other aspects of the story. In case of doubt, classify the story according to the genres it's been tagged: the Romance tag for Shipping, absence of that tag for Gen Fic.
Organized to promote the creation of more long fic, art, and general fan works, Round Three is beginning now. The results from the first two rounds are viewable here. Covers a wide variety of ratings, styles, and pairings, so check the summaries. Longfic, which I love, though you may not.
Collection of fic gathered by the Housefic_meta community. Voted in by members. As with all discerning (is this the correct word?) lists, there's some degree of "Only the best, here, thanks", but still. A wide selection of stories is never something to turn one's nose up at.
URL is wonky, and I can't find a way to fix it, so you have to add a period to the end of it after clicking on it. If anyone else can correct it, I'd much appreciate it.
Pairings: Includes manifestos for House/Cuddy, House/Cameron, and two for House/Wilson
Synopsis: Not really fic, per se, but a collection of essays on various ships. Very high quality writing, and these essays have more than once made people switch ships. Includes fanart, fanfic and community recommendations at the end of each.
Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance. As the Crow Flies'' by Empatheia

Synopsis: Ten falls literally falls out of the sky and meets Gregory House for it. After that...well...the Q are involved. And bacon with a side of eggs. oneshot, as it should be.
Stories focused on the romantic relationships between the cast.Sharkverse by stenveny
Recommended by meanderling
Synopsis: Can't believe this hasn't made it up yet. Stenveny's Sharkverse series is a multi-fic series that at first enhances, and then takes over, the House/Cuddy relationship from season 7. Beautifully written and crafted, it's the AU 'verse of choice for many a Huddy shipper. Not always fluffy and not always happy, but with characters so three dimensional they practically leap off the page.
Pairings: House/Cuddy established
Tags:AU eventually, though the first few stories are still in the canonverse, Fix Fic for many.
Synopsis: On their way to a proposal in Japan, House and Cuddy's flight goes down in the Pacific. Being the only survivors, they drift to a deserted island miles away from the wreckage with nothing except one another to hold onto.
Synopsis: Allison Cameron, a college sophomore with no direction in life, becomes interesed in medicine and attends a lecture being given by one Dr. Gregory House.
Synopsis: quoted from the archive: "In which Wilson has a problem, House has a cunning plan, girls hunt in packs, chocolate cake has unexpected dangers, furniture is unintentionally ordered, several conversations occur, and dinner is repeatedly served. Starring House, Wilson, House & Wilson's Issues, Cuddy, an Original Female Character, and the Original Female Character's Breasts." Basically, a getting together story and a happy ending.
Synopsis: Tritter's case against House still depends on subpoenaed testimony from Wilson. To save House from losing everything, the doctors of PPTH decide on an unusual solution, which in turn leads to unexpected consequences. This is a story about the sacrifices we make that turn out not to be such great sacrifices after all.
Pairings: House/Wilson. Some mentions of House/Stacy, Wilson/Amber, and Wilson's wives.
Synopsis: Wilson, after another argument with House, makes a wish that they had never become friends. The next time he wakes up, he finds himself in a universe where that's actually true.
Synopsis: House's team has a new case, this one is also a Doctor from another hospital, with an over-protective "mentor" who is almost as big a Jerkass as House. For House diagnosing the problem takes a back seat to diagnosing their relationship.
