Open, gate of angels.

A Princess: The Hopeful roleplay formatted like a MUSH held on Discord, with scheduled open times, Angeltown takes place in a fictional town called Aniołow Heights, set in northern New York State. Aniołow Heights is a materialistic town with a rich and poor side of town, which is becoming home to a high amount of princesses, sworn and beacons.

With a vice-principle at the high school and a professor in the know, the city's also got a tenuous alliance with the Court of Tears and no local Storms... yet.

Characters

You can find tropes for characters in Angeltown roleplay here. Non-player characters will not contain spoilers.

     Nobility

Allan Warbeck

The janitor at the local university.

Father Cydrin

The catholic priest in charge of the town's Church, who has recently arrived in Angeltown. Also interested in the occult, and secretly friend with a vampire.
  • Aeris And Bob: "Cydrin" isn't exactly a common name, especially compared to the more mundane names of the other characters.
  • Badass Bookworm: He is intelligent and well-versed in both academics and occult, vampires in particular. Also happens to be a decently good fighter as a Noble.
  • Blue Is Heroic: Their Transformed state wears blue, faithful to the color associated with the Court of Diamonds.
  • Celibate Hero: Well, he is a catholic priest, so this is a given. To date, he has yet to express any romantic interest with anyone.
  • Good Shepherd: Strange friendship aside, he is a genuinely nice, well-meaning priest who aspires to help people through religion, and a member of the Nobility to boot.
  • Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold: Both of his forms are blonde-haired, and he is a rather good person.
  • Jeanne d'Archétype: His Transformed State is fashioned after the trope, being a religious-themed Action Girl whose avatar is based on Fate's version of Joan of Arc.
  • Morality Pet: Toward Tina, who he tries his best to make a Friendly Neighborhood Vampire.
  • Odd Friendship: He is a Noble, and a catholic priest to boot, yet he has befriended, of all things, a vampire.
  • Religion is Magic: Cydrin's Transformed State use catholic rites and prayers to channel her Consecrate and Light Over All Charms.
  • Sexy Priest: He's remarkably young-looking for a priest, almost like a teenager despite being in his late 20s, and possesses the Striking Look merit in both forms.
  • Super Gender-Bender: A male catholic priest in his Mundane State; a gorgeous Jeanne d'Archétype in Transformed State.
  • Supernatural Sensitivity: He knows the Reflected Light Charm, which allows him to sense and identify supernatural powers.

Helen Grey

A newcomer to A-town, seeking refuge from an abusive ex-fiancé.
  • Aura Vision: She knows the Passion's Light Charm, which allows her to see (or more accurately smell) people's auras and emotions.
  • Badass Bookworm: A Seeker of the Court of Swords, and quite handy with a sword herself.
  • Badass Teacher: Has recently started her own class teaching ASL.
  • Brainy Brunette
  • Broken Bird: Pre-Blossoming, Helen was this. Finding the courage to defy her abusive ex led her to Blossom.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Helen was locked up, burned with silver and nearly exorcised by her ex-fiancé, who believed she was a werewolf. He was partly correct—she is a Wolf-blooded.
  • Good Scars, Evil Scars: Has a cross-shaped scar on her left cheek courtesy of her ex.
  • Handicapped Badass: She doesn't let a little thing like being Deaf keep her from practicing swordplay.
  • Healing Factor: Helen finds she has a mild variant after a rollerblading accident.
  • Kick the Dog: Her ex-fiancé did this to her constantly as their relationship fell apart.
  • Little Red Fighting Hood: Her Regalia includes a red hooded cape. Bonus points for its fur trim, a nod to her Wolf-Blooded nature.
  • Meaningful Name: Helen means "light", appropriate to a Hopeful. Her birth name, Diana, also falls under this due to her connection to the moon and werewolves. Her transformed name, Tar-Mirima, is Quenya: "mirima" means free (as from captivity) and "Tar-" denotes royalty.
  • Stages of Monster Grief: Helen passes through these once she realizes she is a Wolf-blooded, and eventually accepts that aspect of herself, even becoming the student of an older Wolf-blooded who promises to teach her to hunt in that fashion.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: Her transformed form has them, to emphasize her wolfish side.
  • Totally Not a Werewolf: Upon witnessing her allergy to silver, her ex-fiancé immediately assumed she was a werewolf, leading to her abuse. While she is a Wolf-Blooded, she never went through the First Change, and instead ended up Blossoming.
  • True Blue Femininity: Her mundane and magical outfits are both blue, though the latter adds Red Is Heroic due to her Court allegiance.
