Diary

Teams
Band Geeks
Placement: TBA
Status: Friends
Two best friends, both members of their college marching band to prove to the world that their hobby isn't just for nerds. They're very inept at directions, bringing forth loads of conflict between them, yet are determined to win the race.Tropes applying to both:
Guard Flag
Voiced by: Mabrey F. (Episode 1-2), Tina B. (Episode 3-present)
Shako
Voiced by: Jackson W.
- No Sense of Direction: The Band Geeks get low placings every leg, partially because Shako is lousy at finding his way around the countries and ends up at the wrong place for challenges.
Barflies
Placement: TBA
Status: Friends
Tropes applying to both:
- Arch-Enemies: They have a main rivalry with the Green Party.
Cork
Voiced by: Connor M.
Mascara
Voiced by: Remi S. (Episode 1), Maggie P. (Episode 2-present)
- Second Place Is for Losers: Despite placing second or third in every leg, Mascara is never satisfied with the Barflies' performance as she's absolutely determined to claim the top spot.
- Transplant: Mascara is simultaneously participating in two different competitions since she's originally from OpalStatus's other object show Gerenal Mayhem.
Crockpots
Placement: TBA
Status: Boss & Employee
Tropes applying to both:
Chef Hat
Voiced by: Bobby S.
Frying Pan
Voiced by: Frank S.
- Transplant: He’s a contestant on both Town Attack and Gerenal Mayhem, another show by OpalStatus.
Green Party
Placement: TBA
Status: Co-workers
Consists of two election directors who've been able to get many people elected into office, whether through honest or dishonest means, the Green Party is known for their cutthroat attitude and hostility towards the other teams.Tropes applying to both:
- Arch-Enemies: They have a main rivalry with the Barflies.
- Corrupt Politician: They're not politicians per se, though they're the ones who'll appoint them. Corrupt, on the other hand, absolutely.
- Green and Mean: Both are types of green plants and incredible Jerkasses around everyone.
Bonsai
Voiced by: Makenna L.
Cactus
Voiced by: Lauren K.
- Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Cactus has a fear of heights which she, under Bonsai's suggestion, tries to conquer by scaling down the tower in "Falling From Grace".
Money Makers
Placement: TBA
Status: Dating (Engaged as of "Arts and Crafts")
Tropes applying to both:
- Alliterative Name: Their team name begins with two "M"s for its first and last name.
- Fourth-Date Marriage: Despite dating for barely a month, Money Bag proposes to Check at the safe spot in the Czech Republic.
- Rich Bitch: They’re both very rich objects who are dismissive and think lowly of others that are in the lower class.
Check
Voiced by: Sarah A.
- Alliterative Name: Her full name is revealed to be Check Checkerson. Also doubles as a Repetitive Name.
- Gold Digger: As much as Check likes having a relationship with Money Bag, she's really only in it for the wealth. She even straight-up admits this on national television.
Check: [Money Bag] looks super-rich and has a tremendous, um, income and he even has a great sense of, well..., investment opportunities. So I may be in this relationship for the money but who cares! I've never had someone who spends so much money and occasionally time with me and that's got to be worth something. Like around 14 million.
Cactus: Does he not realise Check's as shallow as a kiddie pool?
- Inexplicably Identical Individuals: Looks identical to all the other Checks in her home country of the Czech Republic. Money Bag even mistakes someone else for her because they look and sound the exact same.
- Punny Name: She’s a check from the Czech Republicnote .
Money Bag
Voiced by: Samuel C.
- Wacky Marriage Proposal: Upon arriving at the Czech Republic safe spot, Money Bag proposes to Check on the spot (but not before mistaking an identical stranger for her). Adding on to the wackiness, they dated barely a month before this.
Nursing Home
Placement: TBA
Status: Friends (apparently)
An elderly lady who escaped the retirement home she was in and the stolen potted plant she befriended during that time.Tropes applying to both:
Kettle
Voiced by: Natalie Birchak
- Cloudcuckoolander: Looks like a case of onset senility on her part.
Old Oak Tree
Voiced by: N/A
- Affectionate Nickname: Kettle usually calls it "Oaky" as if it were some longtime friend of hers.
- Companion Cube: An inanimate oak tree, although Kettle thinks it’s alive.
- Inanimate Competitor: Despite the fact that it isn’t alive, it competes as Kettle’s partner in the game.
- Running Gag: Old Oak Tree is jokingly credited as a different voice actor every episode.
Team 80s
Placement: TBA
Status: Married
A married couple obsessed with the 80s.Tropes applying to both:
- Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: They’re a record vinyl and a legwarmer, both of which were popular items in the 80s, the time period the two are obsessed with.
- Bickering Couple, Peaceful Couple: The latter to the Yummy Nummies' former. Legwarmer and Vinyl have loads in common and are totally in sync on top of being Happily Married. Taiyaki and Paella...not at all.
Legwarmer
Voiced by: Hailey N.
- Fashion Dissonance: She sports a pair of legwarmers which were trendy in the 80s.
- Pink Is Feminine: A pink female legwarmer with matching legwarmers.
Vinyl
Voiced by: Riley K.
Team Cheesy
Placement: TBA
Status: Strangers
Tropes applying to both:
- Anthropomorphic Food: Both are respectively a sentient cheese stick and coconut in a world of sentient objects.
Cheesestick
Voiced by: Natalie B.
- Egocentric Team Naming: Downplayed but it's clear that Cheesestick's team is obviously named after her.
Coconut
Voiced by: Nick M. (Episode 1-3), Lillie W. (Episode 4-present)
Team Shine
Placement: 11th
Status: Friends
Tropes applying to both:
- Tragic Mistake: In “Arts and Crafts,” they accidentally get tickets to the wrong train. This ends up costing them lots of time and the entire game.
Crystal Ball
Voiced by: Savannah D.
- Character Tic: Constantly places her hands on her head like the Phony Psychic she is.
- Phony Psychic: She frequently makes psychic predictions, but it’s made clear through all of the times she’s incorrect that these powers she claims to have aren’t real.
- Verbal Tic: Almost always starts her sentences with "I predict..." then something in Team Shine's favor only for it to be Instantly Proven Wrong.
Peridot
Voiced by: Vivian C.
- Characterization Marches On: Before the competition starts, Peridot is positive that Team Shine will win the race because of fully believing in Crystal Ball's psychic powers. However, not even the first leg in, she loses all confidence when it became apparent Crystal Ball is a hoax and takes it upon herself to pull her team's weight.
Team Suburbia
Placement: 12th (Last)
Status: Mother & Son
Tropes applying to both:
- Parent-Child Team: A mother and son who are competing in the game together.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: They were eliminated in the very first leg. And judging how they don't have any means or money to go back to the suburbsnote , Drum and Soccer Mom would be stuck in Bangkok, Thailand for a while.
Drum
Voiced by: Jackson W.
- Armless Biped: The sole contestant with this trope.
- The Baby of the Bunch: The youngest contestant participating in the race.
Soccer Mom
Voiced by: Lauren K.
- Larynx Dissonance: She has such a deep, gruff voice, one could easily mistake her for a guy.
Westerners
Placement: TBA
Status: Siblings
A Brother–Sister Team from Dallas, TexasTropes applying to both:
- Book Dumb: The siblings aren't the sharpest tool in the shed, made evident when revealed they never pass the fourth grade and Sheriff can't even count to four.
Hale Bale
Voiced by: Frank S.
- Childish Tooth Gap: Showcases a prominent one between her front teeth and ain't mature in the slightest.
Sheriff
Voiced by: Noah P.
- Odd Name Out: He's the only one not to be directly named after the object he's based on (a tin-star badge), being called Sheriff instead.
- Two Words: I Can't Count: Unable to count to four since he never passed the fourth grade.
Yummy Nummies
Placement: TBA
Status: Dating
A bickering same-sex couple going through a rough patch in their relationship. They join Town Attack in hopes of it bringing them closer together (Well, at least for Taiyaki anyway). However, because of Taiyaki's anger issues, Paella's inherent laziness and communication difficulties between them, the competition would probably do more harm than good to the Yummy Nummies.Tropes applying to both:
- Anthropomorphic Food: One's a Japanese snack, the other's a Spanish rice dish and both living in a world of walking, talking objects of all sorts. Figure it out yourself.
- Bickering Couple, Peaceful Couple: The former to Team 80's latter. Taiyaki and Paella's incredibly strained relationship sharply contrasts the Happily Married Legwarmer and Vinyl.
- Opposites Attract: It may not be obvious but you might be wondering how an uptight hothead and an apathetic slacker ended up dating in the first place.
- Straight Gay: Since they seriously lack chemistry and show no stereotypical traits whatsoever, Taiyaki and Paella's relationship can be easily mistaken for Vitriolic Best Buds instead of a couple.
Paella
Voiced by: Ricky O.
- Lazy Bum: The only thing he ever puts effort into is avoiding hard work as much as possible. In fact, he rather stay at home and do absolutely nothing than compete, angering Taiyaki to no end.
- The Load: Makes Taiyaki do almost every single-out and sometimes team-effort challenges without lifting a finger.
Taiyaki
