Three chickens mistakenly taken from their homes. It would require their combined strength, and teamwork, to survive every challenge they face.

    Shared Tropes 
  • Big Brother Instinct: All three of them have several moments of looking out for each other. Starley is the most protective, threatening those who hurt her brothers, Finley looks out for his siblings due to his smarts, and even Chuck can be concerned for his siblings or even self sacrificing.
  • Big Little Brother: Chuck, the third to hatch is the tallest while Finley, who hatched first is the smallest.
  • True Companions: Despite the flaws in their relationship, the three truly love each other and stick together.
    Starley: But, Chuck! You don't get to choose new sibs. We're your sibs! We may not always get along but we'll always be chicken family!

    Chuck 
  • Acquired Situational Narcissism: This happens almost all the time he gets something he wants.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Starley calls him "Chuckles".
  • All of the Other Reindeer: Everyone in the academy except his siblings hate him.
  • Annoying Younger Sibling: He takes advantage of his siblings' better traits and he sometimes picks on them.
  • Attention Whore: He always wants the spotlight on him.
  • Big Brother Instinct: He is there to protect his siblings in times of need.
  • Book Dumb: He's the dumbest in the academy according to the episode "Smartest Chicken in town."
  • Butt-Monkey: He deserves it most of the time.
  • Deadpan Snarker: He snarked at Finley when he was telling him about PAL and him having a good time.
  • Fatal Flaw: His selfishness.
  • Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: Chuck is bullied to tears in "Bad Bad Bad", however when he joins the dark side and tries to take over the academy, he loses trust and respect from his siblings.
  • Hidden Depths: He is pretty good at sports, especially space basketball.
  • Jerkass: He is very egotistical and selfish and always wants to be the most popular kid in the school.
  • I Have No Son!: In "Chicken Out" he drives away from home to find replacement siblings, since he thinks they are disowning him.
  • I Just Want to Be Loved: In "Personal Space Time" Chuck admits this after confessing he feels lonely having no friends other than his siblings.
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: Deep down he feels worthless and unloved.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Sure he's mean and a bully to his siblings. He can be very soft with them, such as saving Starley from a laser that could've killed her.
  • Mr. Vice Guy: Can be kind but is more mean.
  • Odd Name Out: Starley Finley and Chuck.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Chuck saves Hugo's life in "Idle Idols" and he sometimes hangs out with him.
    • In the finale, Chuck is the first to hug Glargg when he admits he missed Chuck.
  • Red Oni, Blue Oni: The outgoing red to Finley's more reserved blue.
  • Small Name, Big Ego: He thinks he's the best of the best.
  • Took a Level in Smartass: He found a way to make all the academy students fail a test.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With Hugo, Hugo idolizes him while Chuck takes advantage of him. However, Chuck saves Hugo from being eaten by a black hole worm in "Idle Idols".
  • Yandere: In "Green Eyed Monster" he gets so jealous of Finley hanging out with his crush Adele, he literally turns into a green eyed monster.
  • Youngest Child Wins: Inverted, he is the most disliked of his siblings, he has no real friends, and he is considered the worst student at the academy.

    Finley 

    Starley 
  • All-Loving Hero: She's sweet and kind to everyone, even the likes of Niven, although she still flips out when she is being mean.
  • Badass Adorable: She's utterly cute and kind but do NOT make her angry or you'll regret it.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Starley loves everyone and is the most popilar out of her siblings but making her angry will cause her to go into a "Rage Tantrum."
  • Berserk Button: Telling her she can't fly and lying to her. Also, making fun of her.
  • Big Sister Bully: In "The Egg" she tickles Chuck until he agrees to stowaway an egg.
  • Big Sister Instinct: She protects her weaker brothers. In "You Snooze You Cruise" she threatens those who try to hurt Chuck twice.
  • Childish Older Sibling: To Chuck, downplayed. She is into childish things and is more easily fooled by others, but is morally wiser and has more common sense than him.
  • Cool Big Sis: To Chuck, since they get along the most. Starley offers hugs to him whenever he is sad.
  • The Cutie: She is cute, innocent and utterly adorable.
  • Fatal Flaw: Her naiveness and tendency to get annoyed easily.
  • Genki Girl: She is full of boundless enthusiasm and loves to spread it around the academy.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: For as nice as she is, she can turn angry and go into a rage tantrum.
  • I Have No Son!: In "The Egg" she temporarily disowns her brothers when they try to abandon Clucky.
  • Middle Child Syndrome: Inverted, she is the most confident of her siblings and is well loved by everyone and her brothers are jealous of her.
  • Nice Girl: Though she can be insensitive, she is the nicest character in the whole show.
  • Silk Hiding Steel: She may be kind and welcoming, but when you make her mad, she gets MAD.
  • Tomboyand Girly Girl: The happy and kind girly-girl to her BFF Narci's more sporty tomboy.
  • Unintentionally Karmic: Out of anger, she destroys her pod and sets on the anti gravity button. Then, her and Niven are sent to DON Remembo. Starley enjoys it.
  • Unstoppable Rage: When she's mad, there's no stopping her.
  • Women Are Wiser: Downplayed. She has a higher moral sense than her brothers, but Finley is smarter than her.

School Staff

    Glargg 
  • A Father to His Men: As much as he claims to dislike the chickens, he teams up with them a lot and sometimes even spends time with them, such as playing video games together. In "Players Gotta Play", he is he sacrifices his staffs to save them from being trapped in the Beige's fortress. The finale "Chicken Back Again" ends with all three of them giving him a hug.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: Glargg has an evil side to him that loves destruction, but he deeply cares for his pet Blibli and would protect her at any cost.
  • Evil Teacher: He is the main teacher of SLURP but is not so secretly a wannabe tyrant. It's implied he uses the funds for world domination.
  • Hypocrite: He is hurt his mom preferred his brother Brian over him, but he tends to be more proud of Starley than her brothers.
  • I Have No Son!: He says his mother doesn't even consider him a part of the family.
  • Jerkass: He constantly yells and threatens others.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He is an evil grump but he cares for Blibli, Starley, and deep down Chuck and Finley.
  • Morality Pet: Blibli is the only creature he is never mean nor angry towards. To a lesser extent he has a soft spot for Starley.
  • Papa Wolf: For Blibli, he goes into a blind rage and ruthlessly attacks anyone who hurts her.
  • Parental Favoritism:
    • He states many times his mother loved his brother Brian more than him.
    • Despite not being related to them him favoring Starley over Finley and Chuck and them being jealous of that mirrors this.
  • Pet the Dog: In "Players Gotta Play" and "One of a Kind" he saves the chickens from danger. In "Chicken Back Again", he tears up when Chuck returns home safe.
  • So Proud of You: Glargg gives the chickens a thumbs up when they saved him from Thrognak and then he congratulates them for working as a team and vanquishing their foes.
  • Third-Person Person: No matter what, Glargg always uses his name when referring to himself. He rarely even uses pronouns when addressing himself, his pattern usually only breaks when he's scared or sad.
  • Tsundere: A platonic one with the chickens. He hardly admits it but he cares deeply for them. In one episode he is on his phone watching a play the chickens made for him and hides it when caught.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: With all three of the chickens. He claims to dislike them, but he is shown to care for them from time to time.
    • In "I Believe I Can Fly" It's revealed Starley is Glargg's favorite student, in "The Egg" he pats her head when she misses Clucky.
    • He temporarily gains major respect for Finley in "Tripeon Parsec Trip".
    • He seems to dislike Chuck the most and the feeling is very mutual. However, in the finale Glargg is sad when he thinks Chuck is gone forever, and Chuck is the first to hug him when he realizes this.

Other Students

    Niven 
  • Abusive Parents: "Ultimate Niven" reveals her mother is easily disappointed and embarrassed by her, even when she succeeds.
  • Clingy Jealous Girl: She tries to kill Starley due to her being Glargg's "favorite".
  • Kids Are Cruel: Niven bullies the chickens simply for being themselves.
  • Hidden Heart of Gold: Deep down, she isn't all that bad. In "Personal Space Time" she realizes Chuck isn't that different from her and decides to befriend him (until the end of the episode). In "Ultimate Niven" she saves Starley's from floating away.
  • I Just Want to Be Loved: Niven admits this in "Personal Space Time", due to fearing of losing her only friends since her family isn't as loving as Chuck's.
  • Precocious Crush: She is a preteen who has a crush on Glargg, the principal.
  • The Rival: Out of the chickens, she seems to have the most dislike for Chuck, picking on him more than his siblings and he teases her back. Causing the two to be bitter rivals.

    Adele 
  • Absent-Minded Professor: For her intelligence she can be oblivious to her surroundings. She doesn't even know Chuck's name.
  • All-Loving Hero: She is caring towards everyone at the academy, especially Finley, trying to help him rise to her level in grades.
  • Always Someone Better: She has the best grades at the academy, even beating Finley, the genius of the trio.
  • Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other: There are moments of her liking Chuck back. In "Draw Anything" hearts appear when she looks at Chuck's egg and in "Bad Bad Bad" she smiles and waves at him when she hears his poem about her.
  • The Klutz: Her flying isn't always coordinated and she stumbles a lot.
