Glargg Raised the Chickens

Glargg seems to focus on the chickens a lot, mostly negatively but sometimes positively, Starley seemingly being his favorite. What if when he stole the chickens from their home planet, he was forced to raise them himself because they were orphans? He begrudgingly did so until they were older, and that's part of why in the finale, he got emotional when he saw Chuck coming home, even though he never interacted with him positively before.

It may also be why Chuck wants Glargg to love him and why Finley feels sad that Glargg hates him and both get jealous of Starley. They want to feel accepted by their only parental figure.

Glargg's Method of Expelling his Students is an Empty Threat

Yes, it's in AIIA's programming to do so, but when it comes to Glargg he never does it himself. This is more of a scare tactic than an actual threat, at least towards the chickens. If he really meant it he definitely would have expelled Chuck a long time ago. In fact, in "Chicken Back Again" when Glargg thinks Chuck is lost in space forever he is sad and worried.

Marigold and Hugo are mother and son.

  • Their voice actors are mother and son and they look somewhat similar, being brown aliens with big cheeks and they both have Australian accents. It also may explain why Hugo is in the same class as seemingly older kids.

Chuck would have ended up with Niven, not Adele.

  • In the Cosmic Love video Chuck and Niven are seen in a fancy house together as elders makign a toast with mugs, one having a heart symbol.

Glargg would have been the Big Bad, having to be stopped by his own cadets.

  • Glargg seems to have a not so secret desire to take over the galaxy, there are many hints of him preparing a threat against the universe. In the intro, it's said the chickens are "Saving the Universe" when most of the time they only stop minor bad guys who threaten the academy. Maybe they will have to save the world from their very own principal.
