Main Characters

    The Puppet Princess

Inko Midoriya

An average woman who was forced by her father to bear All Might's child. Despite her life long mission and her cruel-hearted father. Inko decides to break free from his control and escape her situation.

  • Child Hater: Inko refers to her unborn child as a parasite and thinks of intrusive thoughts of killing the child before it ruins her life.
  • Commonality Connection: Inko is aware that she's just like her messed up siblings since she too would throw any of them under the bus if it meant getting to survive for just a little longer.
  • The Cynic: Given her oppressive upbringing and the many examples made out of her half-siblings, Inko has a tendency to assume the worst in others or imagine the worst possible scenarios that could happen to her if she isn't careful.
  • Damsel in Distress: She's frequently kidnapped by her siblings and needed to be rescued by All Might in Chapter 8. Though she manages to escape a few times.
  • I Just Want to Be Free: Her one wish is to escape from her abusive father and gain some semblance of a normal life outside of her palace walls.
  • Living MacGuffin: After her escape, every sibling tries to hunt her down in the hopes of being rewarded by their Father.
  • Mind over Matter: Her Quirk lets her move and attract small objects via telekinesis.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: After escaping the mansion, she thinks about how she resorted to killing a teen bodyguard in order to escape. Inko ponders the possibility of him being a child who may have had his own dream of escaping and how she didn't try to help him.
  • Nice Girl: Subverted. Her siblings label her as the "Nice" one but Inko is aware that she's just polite and knows how to read the room to avoid causing commotion.
  • Parental Favoritism: According to her mother Mitsuru, she was the last child to be naturally born before Mitsuru was given an advanced fertility quirk which she considers to be something she's proud of him. She even vouches that All For One named her personally, something that he rarely ever does with his children.
  • Plain Jane: Her main archetype among her sisters. Even her brother crudely labels her as such.
  • Pragmatic Hero: The princess has to resort to using underhanded tricks and dialogue to lower the defenses of others so she can get what she needs to survive.
  • Prone to Tears: Tends to break down in tears every chapter. But it's Played for Drama given the circumstances she's forced to live with.
  • Properly Paranoid: Having grown up in a Baby Factory where her siblings were raised under submission and were taken away for trivial reasons, Inko is quick to believe in the worst possible scenarios can happen to her if she steps out of line. It's especially worrisome as she can imagine what types of punishments her father can inflict on her that border on Fate Worse than Death.
  • The Protagonist: The story revolves around Inko's life and her attempts to save herself.
  • Signature Move: To her annoyance, the only trick she knows (and relies on) is pulling out people's eye sockets with her telekinesis.
  • Thou Shalt Not Kill: Subverted. When making her big escape, Inko resorts to killing one of her teen bodyguards to keep him from ratting her out.
  • You Remind Me of X: Toshinori can't help but compare her physical beauty to his past master Nana. It's part of the reason for why he becomes enamored with her.

An ancient evil with the power to give and steal Quirks as he sees fit. He's also Inko's Father and the patriarch of multiple twisted villains who are hidden among society.

  • Abusive Parents: He gave birth to various children to live out specific roles in the world of heroes. He barely is involved in their development and has no love or kindness to give to them.
  • Archnemesis: Inko's father and antagonist.
  • Bad Samaritan: The broodmares mentioned how All For One would often take in the unfortunate souls of humanity, promising them Quirks or food in exchange for their servitude.
  • Big Bad: The main villain of the story.
  • Complexity Addiction: He's a big fan of using complicated plans. Such as raising hundreds of children to fit specific roles in society so he can use their influences to his advantage. Additionally, his desire to have one of his daughters bear All Might's child is so he can turn him into a weapon to kill his sworn nemesis.
  • Evil Is Petty: Inko considers her father to be this given his convoluted efforts in destroying his hated nemesis.
  • I Control My Minions Through...: He has an iron grip on his children and subordinates with the power of fear and how he can commit to punishing them for even the smallest of mistakes.
  • Mellow Fellow: He rarely acts out and is always in control of himself whenever he speaks to his "family" or assoiates.

  • The Omniscient: It's never explained, but All For One is able to keep perfect track of everything going on with his subjects. Inko is aware of this which makes her wanting to escape his clutches so much harder.
  • Politically Incorrect Villain: Inko mentions how none of her siblings have ever been mutant types.
  • Psychotic Smirk: Tends to give unsettling smiles which scares Inko to her soul.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: His eyes are red as blood and bears an oppressive presence if you look at them.

The fair hero knows that they're only after him because of his prestigious background mixed with the implications of using his child to serve them in the long game. It's because of this that he has a harder time developing romantic relations with other women out of fear of being exploited in some capacity.

  • Nice to the Waiter: He's very thoughtful and considerate of those working in customer services. Especially given his own experiences. He's also supportive of those who work in the sex industry.
  • Oh, Crap!: Gets a huuuuge one when Inko informs him about All For One's masterplan and how she was created just to have his baby.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: He isn't as featured in the story until Inko reaches his hero agency, but it's because of him that All For One created various children to destroy him, even succeeding with a daughter who became pregnant with his child.
