    General
  • Mirror Universe: As touched upon in the IDW My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comics' "Reflections" arc, the Mirror Universe is a dimension that is poulated by characters who bear moralities opposite of their mainline counterparts. Heroes are villains, the villains are heroes, and so on.

Second Age

Heroes

Peaceful Paladin, the Champion of Love and Peace

Classification: Ethereal/Ascendant

Portfolio: Music, Humility, Peace, Love

Rank: Divine (Tier IV/Greater)

Peaceful Paladin (first introduced here) is the Alicorn god of Music, Humility, Peace, and Love, and is a benevolent musician from Mirrorverse Tellus, unlike his evil counterpart War Rock.
  • Alliterative Name: Peaceful Paladin.
  • Antagonistic Offspring: It's implied that one of his daughters in his dimension is an evil version of Princess Winter Opera. When he meets Codexverse!Winter Opera, he expresses his wish that his villainous daughter is more like her. The feeling seems to be mutual, as Winter Opera wishes her father is more like his Mirrorverse counterpart.
Peaceful Paladin: Kid... I, like, wish my girl was like you.
    Winter Opera: ...The same.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: He's an Alicorn god who embodies Music, Humility, Peace, and Love.
  • Evil Counterpart: Inverted. Peaceful Paladin represents all of War Rock's good traits and potential to become an Alicorn that the latter squandered with his sociopathic narcissism, as he was able to Ascend to godhood while War Rock did not. Almost all of Peaceful Paladin's domains are exactly the same as Blue Suede Heartstrings' in the main Tellus, except the former has a Peace domain in place of Performance. Even more telling is that Peaceful Paladin is best friends with Blue Suede's counterpart, Prince Black Snow, a former villain-turned-benevolent Alicorn god, meaning that War Rock not only squandered his potential for godhood with his narcissism, but his potential friendship with Blue Suede as well.
  • Humble Hero: Implied. Much like Blue Suede Heartstrings in the Codexverse, he's an incredibly nice and humble Alicorn stallion. One of his domains is Humility, which Blue Suede also embodies.
  • Like Is, Like, a Comma: Due to being a Hippie in his dimension, he speaks this way.
  • Love Goddess: Gender-inverted. One of his domains is Love.
  • Magic Music: Implied; one of his domains is Music.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Champion of Love and Peace".
  • Make Some Noise: Implied; one of his domains is Music, and as shown with a few Music deities in the Codexverse, he might have sound-based magic.
  • Mirror Self: He's one for War Rock, except whereas War Rock is a monstrously sociopathic narcissist who became one of the most hated musicians and supervillains of the Second Age, Peaceful Paladin is a friendly hippie who became a beloved hero and Alicorn god of Music. He's also best friends with his universe's version of Blue Suede Heartstrings, Prince Black Snow, whereas War Rock and Blue Suede are fierce enemies in their universe.
  • New-Age Retro Hippie: In contrast to War Rock being a Goth Heavy Metal musician, he's a Hippie in his dimension, much to Princess Winter Opera's surprise.
  • Nice Guy: In stark contrast to War Rock, who is an entitled, narcissistic sociopath with a god complex, he's incredibly nice and humble. His domains of Humility, Peace, and Love reflects this.
  • Physical God: Implied. Being an Alicorn from the Second Age means that he is likely very powerful and ancient, since deities only get Stronger with Age.
  • Super-Scream: Implied; one of his domains is Music, and as shown with a few Music deities in the Codexverse, he might have this as part of his sound-based magic.
  • Winged Unicorn: He's an Alicorn in his dimension, unlike his Evil Counterpart War Rock.

Prince Black Snow, the Song of Redemption

Classification: Ethereal/Ascendant

Portfolio: Pride, Redemption, Magical Music, Dreams

Rank: Divine (Tier IV/Greater)

Prince Black Snow (first introduced here) is the Alicorn god of Pride, Redemption, Magical Music, and Dreams, and is a reformed musician and Blue Suede Heartstrings' counterpart from Mirrorverse Tellus.
  • Anthropomorphic Personification: He's an Alicorn god who embodies Pride, Redemption, Magical Music, and Dreams.
  • The Atoner: After Peaceful Paladin made him see the error of his ways, he spent a lot of time atoning for his crimes. After Ascending to godhood, he became the Alicorn god of Redemption, travelling all over Mirror!Tellus and helping repentant criminals and villains redeem themselves when not performing.
  • Bad Powers, Good People: As a god of Magical Music, he can cast magic spells via song and music like Queen Aoide from the Codexverse, but has an inclination for dark magic due to his Jerk with a Heart of Gold temperament. He's also a benevolent Alicorn god, though he used to be a prideful Jerkass who was almost on par with War Rock in terms of villainy until Peaceful Paladin helped him see the error of his ways.
  • Dark Is Evil: His name is Black Snow, and he was once a prideful Jerkass of a musician who, according to Peaceful Paladin, was almost as bad as War Rock from Main!Tellus. However, it's later inverted when he realized the error of his ways thanks to Peaceful Paladin, which led to him becoming The Atoner to make up for his crimes. He became an Alicorn god as a reward for his efforts, and though he is a prideful Jerk with a Heart of Gold, he's now a hero and one of Peaceful Paladin's best friends.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: What he became after his Heel–Face Turn. While his name is Black Snow, he became a Jerk with a Heart of Gold who's still prideful to a degree, but is more benevolent and kinder, and was able to successfully Ascend to godhood after atoning for his crimes. He also embodies Magical Music with an inclination for dark magic, but uses his powers for good.
  • Deity of Human Origin: According to Peaceful Paladin, he managed to become an Alicorn after realizing the error of his ways and atoning for his crimes, a stark contrast to War Rock, who selfishly continued pursuing immortality until he died. Blue Suede Heartstrings was surprised to learn that his counterpart managed to do it.
Peaceful Paladin: Your other self was, like, real bad when he first started out. Almost as bad as that War Rock dude. But I managed to talk to Snow, love and peace and all that. Turns out he had some issues he REALLY needed help with.
Blue Suede Heartstrings: What happened after?
Peaceful Paladin: Y'know how we got our horns and wings, dude?
Blue Suede Heartstrings: Ah don't... see... no way! Did he really?!
Peaceful Paladin: Yeah, man. Totally. Snow still sings like you do, but like, he mostly travels to help Ponies see the light. He said it's so they wouldn't become all evil and uncool like he once was.
  • Evil Counterpart:
    • To Blue Suede Heartstrings, now Prince Caerulus Melodia, at least at first. Whereas Blue Suede is humble and compassionate, Black Snow was a prideful Jerkass whom Peaceful Paladin described as being "almost as bad as that War Rock dude". It even shows in their names - Blue Suede is named after a heroic color, while Black Snow is named after a villainous color. However, it's averted when, thanks to Peaceful Paladin's efforts, he realized the error of his ways and redeemed himself, becoming an Alicorn god as a reward. While he's a Jerk with a Heart of Gold now, he's still benevolent and, unlike Blue Suede and War Rock, he's best friends with Peaceful Paladin.
    • Ironically, he would serve as an inverted example for War Rock himself. While both were talented musicians yet prideful Jerkasses, the biggest difference between them is that Black Snow realized the error of his ways thanks to Peaceful Paladin, War Rock's good counterpart in Mirror!Tellus, and successfully Ascended to godhood after humbling himself and becoming The Atoner. This is in stark contrast to War Rock, who refused to change his ways out of pride and died trying to make himself immortal, which is what he could've become if he bothered to humble himself, too.
  • Freudian Excuse: Peaceful Paladin mentions that he has a lot of issues that he desperately needed help with, implying that he had very sympathetic reasons for becoming a prideful Jerkass musician. It's deconstructed in that said reasons still don't excuse his actions, and once Peaceful Paladin gets through to him, he spends a lot of time being The Atoner afterwards.
  • Heel–Face Turn: He was once almost as bad as War Rock in terms of pride and villainy, but he later realized the error of his ways thanks to Peaceful Paladin.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: This is what he became after performing a Heel–Face Turn and atoning for his sins. He's a much kinder and more benevolent god overall, but unlike Blue Suede, who is a straight-up Nice Guy and All-Loving Hero, he's still prideful to a degree. According to Peaceful Paladin, his temperament is why he has an inclination for music-powered dark magic spells as a god of Magical Music.
  • Magic Music: He embodies Magical Music post-Ascension. Though unlike Blue Suede, who has musical/sound powers as a god of Music, his domain of Magical Music is similar to Queen Aoide's domain of Musical Magic in that he can cast various spells via song and music. According to Peaceful Paladin, he has an inclination towards dark magic due to his Jerk with a Heart of Gold temperament.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Song of Redemption", due to being a reformed musician who works to redeem repentant criminals and villains, as well as an Alicorn god of Redemption post-Ascension.
  • Meaningful Name: He's named after a weather phenomena called "black snow", which is what happens when snowfall occurs within areas that are heavily polluted through soot or petroleum-based contaminants. Black Snow was once a prideful Jerkass much like War Rock, but came to realize the error of his ways and became The Atoner thanks to Peaceful Paladin.
  • Mirror Self: He's one for Blue Suede Heartstrings, except whereas Blue Suede Heartstrings is a Nice Guy and All-Loving Hero, he started out as a villain whose arrogance is almost on par with War Rock and is implied to have a lot of Freudian Excusees for becoming what he was. Fortunately, Peaceful Paladin helped him perform a Heel–Face Turn, which led to him Ascending to godhood through his atonement and good deeds. While he's benevolent like Blue Suede, he's now a Jerk with a Heart of Gold who wants to help villains redeem themselves.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: He was once a prideful musician who was almost as bad as War Rock. But at some point, Peaceful Paladin's efforts led to him realizing what he was doing and humbling himself. This is in stark contrast to War Rock, who had every opportunity to turn good but refused due to being a deeply narcissistic sociopath obsessed with immortality.
  • Physical God: Implied. Being an Alicorn from the Second Age means that he is likely very powerful and ancient, since deities only get Stronger with Age in the Codexverse.
  • Pride: In contrast to Blue Suede Heartstrings, pride is one of his greatest flaws. He used to be a prideful Jerkass to the point of being almost as bad as War Rock, but at some point, he realized what he was doing thanks to Peaceful Paladin and humbled himself. After atoning for his sins, he still remains prideful to a degree, but he became kinder and more benevolent enough to Ascend to godhood, with Pride being one of his domains.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: He was once a prideful Jerkass who, according to Peaceful Paladin, was almost as bad as War Rock in terms of villainy. But after Peaceful Paladin got through to him, he realized the error of his ways and became The Atoner to make up for his crimes. He's still prideful to a degree, but he's more of a Jerk with a Heart of Gold who travels the world helping criminals and villains redeem themselves when not performing.
  • Walking the Earth: According to Peaceful Paladin, he travels all over the world post-Ascension, helping repentant criminals and villains redeem themselves when not performing.
  • Warrior Prince: Much like Blue Suede Heartstrings/Caerulus Melodia post-crowning, he's an Alicorn Prince from the Second Age and thus a very ancient, powerful, and competent god.
  • Winged Unicorn: He's an Alicorn in his dimension, much like his main counterpart Blue Suede Heartstrings.

    Visoka Volja

  • Adaptation Name Change: Her first name is Visoka rather than Velika.
  • Alternate Self: To Velika Volija/the Overmare.
  • Arch-Enemy: To both Blacksmith and Magnamare.
  • Crazy-Prepared: She literally had multiple plans and twice as many gadgets for all occasions - which is one of the reasons she and Augustine managed to survive decades of Blacksmith and Magnamare trying to kill them AND one of the reasons she was able to more than hold her own with scientific gadgets against an evil sorcerer powerful enough to give a warrior with strength and durability comparable to Metamare/Magnamare an extremely good fight.
  • Good Counterpart: She is basically what Overmare WOULD be if she got the right help much sooner, did a better job keeping her ego under control and put more value on others.
  • Insufferable Genius: While nowhere near as bad about it as her main Tellus counterpart, she did have some moments of this.
  • Magic Versus Science: She was famously involved in a fight with Equinia villain Skulledor, Visoka using science and Skulledor using sorcery. As Skulledor was He-Mane's arch-enemy, the fact Visoka was able to win was certainly respectable.
  • Mama Bear: She was quite protective of her family. She considers Magnamare's killing of her adopted son Blazing Bolt an extreme sensitive subject (though acknowledges it is even more sensitive to Ari) and is insistent on making sure her other surviving adopted daughter, Hope Beacon (an alternate Duplimare) has a chance to have as close to a happy childhood as possible AND an extremely good education.
  • Morality Chain: The Mirror Tellus Augustine was certainly part of this (being part of the reason she was a much better mare than her main Tellus counterpart), as was her adopted daughter, Ari Cane Arts (the Mirror Tellus version of Ari Cane Arts/Blue Enchantress) and her family and friends in general.

Princess Spring Choir, the Heavenly Voice

Classification: Ascendant

Portfolio: White Magic, [WIP]

Rank: Divine (Tier IV/Greater)

  • Anthropomorphic Personification: She's an Alicorn goddess who embodies White Magic.
  • Deity of Human Origin: She's an Alicorn goddess by the time she meets Winter Opera, which implies she was mortal at one point in her life.
  • Good Witch Versus Bad Witch: Averted, as she and her prime counterpart, Princess Winter Opera, are both 'good witches' whose respective branches of magic happen to fall on opposite sides of the spectrum (White Mage vs. Lady of Black Magic). This gets conversed once they meet in-person.
Princess Spring Choir: Wow... you're me, but...
Princess Winter Opera: Gooder? No, that's not it... Maybe more 'white witch'-y?
    Princess Spring Choir: Yeah!
  • In the Blood: Like her father, a benevolent wizard and priest, she would grow up to become a benevolent White Mage and devout follower of the 'King in Heaven' (or her home dimension's equivalent of him) herself. However, she would take one step further by Ascending to godhood as an Alicorn goddess of White Magic.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Heavenly Voice".
  • Magic Music: Her brand of magic is channeled through her voice, and focuses around the concept of a 'choir', empowering both herself and others the more people join her. This contrasts Winter Opera, who channels offensive spells through a violin.
  • Mirror Self: She's one to Princess Winter Opera. Whereas Winter grew up in the shadow of her deceased father, who was a much-hated supervillain and musician in life, Spring Choir was raised by her kind and loving birth father (implied to be her universe's version of War Rock), who is a priest and wizard. And whereas Winter became an Alicorn goddess of Dark Magic, Spring Choir became an Alicorn goddess of White Magic.
  • Physical God: She's an Alicorn goddess from the Second Age (or her home dimension's equivalent of it), so she's likely very ancient and powerful.
  • Pretty Princess Powerhouse: She's an Alicorn Princess and, as an alternate version of Princess Winter Opera, she is likely very beautiful. She also embodies White Magic as a concept, giving her 'good' spells that revolve around purification, healing, protection, salvation, and faith.
  • Princess Classic: She's a benevolent goddess who embodies White Magic, and she is a passionate, faithful follower of the 'King in Heaven' (or at least, her universe's equivalent of him) much like her father. She also bears the title of 'Princess', and is implied to look like a traditional Princess with a religious theme.
  • Upbringing Makes the Hero: Her father is a benevolent priest and wizard (likely a White Mage like his daughter) who followed their home dimension's equivalent of the 'King in Heaven'. She grew up to be just as passionate and faithful, becoming a classical musician and eventually Ascending to godhood as an Alicorn goddess of White Magic.
  • White Mage: In contrast to Winter Opera, she's an Alicorn goddess of White Magic, giving her 'good' spells revolving around purification, healing, protection, salvation, and faith.
  • Winged Unicorn: Like her Codexverse counterpart, she's an Alicorn goddess, though she embodies the "benevolent" aspects of magic in contrast to Winter Opera, who embodies Dark Magic.

Villains

    Blacksmith, the World's Evilest Genius

  • Evil Counterpart: He represents what happens if Dr. Silversmith, Sr. became something like Overmare, letting his arrogance turn him into a villain and influence him into using his genius intellect and talent for evil ends.

    Magnamare, the Tyrant from Beyond

  • Beware the Superman: Implied. Instead of using her powers to protect people like Metamare, she became a conquering tyrant.
  • Doomed Hometown: One Drabble revealed that in a twisted inversion of Metamare's origins, Magnamare came from a world of militant conquerors instead of peaceful technocrats, and where Metamare's people were destroyed by a rogue astronomical phenomena which its governing class was too complacent to take action against, Magnamare's people destroyed themselves in a Civil War which culminated in a weaponized use of said astronomical phenomena Gone Horribly Wrong.
  • Evil Counterpart: She represents all of Metamare's fears of becoming evil and using her powers for evil, as she became a conquering tyrant in her universe.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: For all her faults, she idolized her birth parents (who were generals among militant conquerors instead of scientists among peaceful technocrats) and had grown up wanting to emulate their example (or at least give herself justification for her villainous actions). Realising that her parents actually want her to move beyond their people's ways and that she had unwittingly betrayed their hopes managed to briefly Break the Haughty supervillainess and left her horrified and ashamed of herself and what she's done.
  • Freudian Excuse: In contrast to Metamare, her people were militant conquerors instead of peaceful technocrats before their destruction, and part of the reason for Magnamare's villainy as a tyrannical conqueror (Which she admits is probably more an excuse to feel better about what she's doing) was to 'live up to her people's glorious ways' and continue their legacy.
  • Green-Eyed Monster: One of the reasons why she antagonises her Good Counterpart Metamare is because she can't stand the idea there is someone out there who can rival and even surpass her in any way. Even when she grudgingly admit that Metamare IS better than her at least morally by choosing to be an inspiring hero where she became a feared villain, it still pisses her off enough to keep fighting Metamare over it.
  • Heel Realization: In one notable conflict with Metamare and the Paragons from mainline Tellus, realising that while her people were conquerors, her true parents whom she idolises want her to move past that briefly brought her to her haunches in horror and shame as she realised by becoming a tyrannical conqueror with her powers she had betrayed her parents' hopes, and laments that she had gone too far and done too much for her to ever go back and stop being a villain. She did like Overmare in mainline Tellus/Equus mellowed out a bit by the Fifth Age, though.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Tyrant from Beyond" to contrast Metamare's epithet as "the Paragon from Beyond".
  • My God, What Have I Done?: Much to Magnamare's horror and shame, while her people were militant conquerors before their demise, her parents (who were generals instead of scientists unlike Metamare's) had grown disillusioned with their civilization and had hoped their daughter would grow past and become better than it when they sent them to their universe's Tellus. This briefly causes a Villainous BSoD.

The Viceful Seven

    Patchwork, the Cowardly Knight

  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Cowardly Knight" to contrast Patch's epithet as "the Courageous Knight".
  • One-Steve Limit: Averted. The Fourth Age's Coltic Pantheon has a benevolent divine champion named Patchwork, who is literally a living, walking 'patchwork' of Pony body parts created by Dr. Binding Stitch in his attempts to create an Alicorn.

Dull Eyes, the Fool of Injustice

  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Fool of Injustice" to contrast Bright Eyes' epithet as "the Scholar of Justice".

    Sourheart, the Hateful Warmonger

  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Hateful Warmonger" to contrast Sweetheart's epithet as "the Loving Peacemaker".

    Darklight, the Derelict Taskmaster

  • Evil Counterpart: To Starlight. She represents what happens if Starlight didn't develop any sense of diligence or responsibility, instead becoming lazy, derelict, and neglectful of her duties.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Derelict Taskmaster" to contrast Starlight's epithet as "the Diligent Teacher".

    Crabseye, the Prideful Farseer

  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Prideful Farseer" to contrast Clover Bloom's epithet as "the Humble Seer".
  • Meaningful Name: Her name comes from the plant Abrus precatorius, also known as "Crab's eye". Crab's eye plants contain seeds that are highly poisonous when ingested. Crabseye is a Seer who, unlike Clover Bloom, is a very prideful and arrogant villain.

    Melodrama, the Exhausting Celebrity

  • Evil Counterpart: To Melody. She represents what happens if Melody didn't rein in her worst flaws like her insensitivity to others and her ego, becoming a celebrity whose bad behavior can be exhausting to deal with, hence her epithet.
  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Exhausting Celebrity" to contrast Melody's epithet as "the Enduring Rockstar".
  • Meaningful Name: Melodrama refers to something that is exaggerated, sensationalized, and/or overemotional. Because she never bothered to rein in her worst flaws like Melody did, she became a celebrity whose behavior is intolerable and exhausting to many.

    Bourbon, the Faithless Idol

  • The Magnificent: Known as "the Faithless Idol" to contrast Bon Bon's epithet as "the Faithful Designer".

Fourth Age

Heroes

    Trixie Lulamoon, Princess of Humility
  • Humble Hero: Befitting the princess of Humility, she's quite humble.
