This soundtrack hasn't persisted to be one of the most recognisable soundtracks with one of the most remixable songs ever for nothing.

OST
- A testament to the soundtrack's awesomeness: it was certified 6x platinum in 2001 (meaning 6 million copies sold), and it's listed as one of the top twenty best-selling movie soundtracks of all time.
- Though its reputation has since been undermined by its singer-songwriter's felonious actions, "I Believe I Can Fly" also overlaps with both Award-Bait Song and Breakaway Pop Hit. Very few people seem to be aware that it's from a movie at all.
- The theme song to Space Jam is also catchy. The song's legendary remixability has helped, to the point where you would be hard pressed to find a song that's popular on the internet that hasn't been mixed with it at some point. And there's no way this song hasn't made you want to just pick up a ball and hit the courts.
- The song "Hit'em High" (the theme song of the Mon-Stars) has some of the most popular rappers of the 90's - B-Real, Coolio, Method Man, LL Cool J and Busta Rhymes - coming together for this one song to sing on how badass and awesome the Mon-Stars are and that no one stands a chance against them.
- Chris Rock and Barry White cover the relatively obscure Cheech & Chong song "Basketball Jones" with a guest appearance by Michael Jordan, who quips "Sing? I don't sing. That's the other MJ..."
- Billy West rapping in-character as Bugs Bunny (with lyrics written by none other than Jay-Z) on the final track, "Buggin'".
- Seal's excellent R&B Cover Version of Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like An Eagle", which Steven Miller himself called the best cover of the track he ever heard.
- Spin Doctors' and Biz Markee's funk-rock take on KC and The Sunshine Band's "That's The Way I Like It." Beatboxing over rock guitars? Yes please!
- "Get Ready For This", inexplicably not on the soundtrack album, has a great beat and rhythm to it. It sounds epic and triumphant, and it just screams awesome.
- Diane Warren presented two amazing pop ballads for the film's soundtrack: "For You I Will" by Monica—which is in the middle of the end credits—and All-4-One's "I Turn to You"—which is at the tail end of the credits and right before The Stinger.
BGM
- The unknown/unnamed techno music that plays during the 1st quarter of the game which can be heard when Lola Bunny tries but fails to block Pound (Orange Alien) from dunking sounds so triumphant and catchy.
- The classic "Merrily We Roll Along" theme shows up in truly epic fashion when the Nerdlucks are about to enter Looney Tune Land — by way of the familiar Warner Bros. logo, naturally.
- The dance beat from "Pump up the Jam" by Technotronic setting the stage for the game. The introduction accommodates the roads being jam-packed outside the arena. Then the intensity kicks in when Tune Squad warms up in the locker room, preparing for an epic showdown.
Remixes of the Main Theme
In the same vein as Guile's Theme, the Main Theme of this movie has achieved memetic status with the sheer level of remixability that it has. You'd be hard pressed to find a song that this song can't be remixed with, so we've catalogued just a few of the ones that it can be mixed with.
- Barkley Shut Up and Jam Gaiden Theme, the granddaddy of them all and the reason this song has achieved its status as the most remixable song ever.
- Jordan Stole The Precious Slam, a remix of the also highly memetic Marisa Stole The Precious Thing.
- Slam Proud - Barkley's Bizarre Advenutre: SlamDunk Crusaders OP, a combination with STAND PROUD by Jin Hashimoto. Bonus points for replacing the characters' faces with the faces of Barkley and other famous B-ballers.
- Slam of the North Star, a mix with the title theme from Fist of the North Star.
- Slammered!, a mix with "Pursuit ~ Cornered" from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and proving that even 32-bit music can work with this song.
- ~end of THE TIME OUT~ Barkley's Bizarre Adventure: SlamDunk Crusaders "Slamgypt Hen" OP, a mix with "Sono Chi no Kioku ~end of THE WORLD~" by The Jostars.
- Through The Slams and the Jams, a mix with "Through The Fire And Flames" by DragonForce. How do you take one of the most awesome songs ever and make it better? Mix it with this into a seven minute long ode to slamming and jamming.
- Dunkstein and Slamough, a mix with Ornstein and Smough's boss theme from Dark Souls.
- Slam the Earth starts off as a normal Space Jam mashup with the Shovel Knight first level theme. But then samples from "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark" kick in, which makes that small detail alone rather amazing.
- A trio of mash-ups with the already bombastically-awesome Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann soundtrack: Slam Through The Court With Your Jam, a mashup with "Burst Though The Heavens With Your Spirit," Libera Me From Slam, a mashup with "Libera me from Hell,", "Tengen Toppa Slammen-Jamann", and finally Sorairo Jams, a mashup with the kickass Theme Music Power-Up version of "Sorairo Days."
- You thought mixing the Space Jam theme with Tezuka Rin's theme from Katawa Shoujo would not work. It does, and it does so very well.
- Looks like the only ones who can pilot Shin Getter Robo are either superior jammers... or the Phoenix Suns!
- The Space Jam theme can be remixed with anything, and Guile's Theme goes with everything. As such, a mix of the two could only be awesome.
- It's Slam or be Jammed, a mashup with the already catchy "It's Kill or be Killed" from No More Heroes. Especially since the two, as mixed, complement each other perfectly.
- Slamming, mashup with Final Fantasy VII's main battle theme, "Fighting". Like most others, they go very well together.
- Kingdom Courts: Dribble and Clean, a mashup with Kingdom Hearts' composition "Simple and Clean". Way cooler with vocals!
- Ultimate Slam Jam, rightfully so. With "Ultra Instinct Theme" from Dragon Ball Super, no less!
- Slammality. Simply put: Mortal Kombat gets the dose of slamming action, as well!
- The Slammin' King: Circle Of Jam. Who would expect that the main theme from one of the greatest animated movies, The Lion King (1994), can also work as well?
- Who said that rock music and energetic beats don't mix? Sweet Dunk of Mine proves otherwise. A little bit of Guns N' Roses is all we need.
- Funky music can also be improved with some slamming action, as Uptown Dunk shows.
- What do you get when you take one of the memetic songs and combine it with the awesomeness of Space Jam? The masterpiece called Slam on Me.
- No wonder why Ray Parker Jr. said that busting makes him feel good. Well, how about slamming? Ghostslammers will provide it in spades!
- What if Hawkeye himself said: "I Make Any Slam Better?" Damn right he is!
- Slamtris. Fits well like a Tetris piece.
- What about the cocktail of Space Jam and "Megalovania"? The result is Ballertale.
- Koji Kondo provided many great themes to the Nintendo games, and several of them also get a Space Jam treatment. Behold: Ocarina of Jam!
- THIS SLAM OF MINE JAMS WITH A BALLIN' POWER! ITS BURNING GRIP TELLS ME TO DUNK YOU! SLAMMING FINGER! And that's just the description on the video. The mashup of vocals with the dramatic G Gundam instrumentals works better than it has any right to. Listen to how seamlessly the saxophone flows into it, and how the words and violins practically sync up at the end. The comments section is a gold mine of mashup Memetic Mutation as well.
- Did you think there was no way "My Heart Will Carry On" could be mashed up? Think it's too much of a mismatch? Submitted for your approval, "My Slam Will Jam On" from "Tijamic".
- Even the greatest orchestral music will make you feel the disturbance in the court. Namely, Slam Wars: Imperial Jam.
- One Winged All-Star: Rebound (Quad City DJs vs. Nobuo Uematsu) ([One Winged Angel Rebirth Slam) is a second-generation version of the classical Slam Jam remixes of "One Winged Angel", and it even transitions through four different quarters, complete with major shifts in the music. St. Franklin sinks this three-pointer home with the force of a Chaos Dunk.
- "FTL - Free Throws & Layups - Quad City DJs vs Ben Prunty" takes the chill backdrop of that turn-based roguelite space opera simulator FTL: Faster Than Light and injects some much-needed punch, truly living up to the spirit of the Space Jam.Welcome to FTL! Your ship is the last hope of the International Basketball Federation. Recruit players, upgrade your court, and win space jams to defeat the Rebels before it's too late.
- Cowboy B-Ball - Quad City DJs vs The Seatbelts gives TANK a little extra spice and makes the vocals bounce along.
- Slam Octo Slam blends (ha) Space Jam's vocals into the final boss theme of the Octo Expansion "Fly Octo Fly" and manages to keep it fresh.
- Live And Slam makes perfect use of Sonic Adventure 2's theme song for a fusion that takes that Chaos Emerald and slam dunks it in hard enough to ride the shockwaves from that Chaos Dunk to success, with some beautiful vocal transitions.
- Slamilton - A Basketball Musical takes things a bit further by featuring an entire album that combines the soundtracks from Space Jam and Hamilton in a near hour-long masterpiece.
