Smallville P.S.A

If someone tells you to skip seasons 1-3 please do not be a follower. Seasons 1-3 are the highest rated for a reason. It's when all 3 main characters are friends, and it build their relationships and the dangers they face. If someone tells you to skip seasons 1-3 it's either because they don't like Lana, Lex, their friendships with Clark and are trying to make you not like them as well. They also may be obsessed with Chloe, who is pining after Clark in season 1, but tries to find out Clark's secret in 2, and teams up with Lionel Luthor in 3. Please don't let their biases stop you from enjoying the highest rated seasons.

Is there a reason why the various Character Alignments and Brainiac's Complete Monster status were removed from the Character Sheet? Yes they say on their pages that they shouldn't be added to the main page, but they weren't: they were on the Character Sheet which should logically count as one of the work's sub-pages. The disclaimer always says put it on the Your Mileage May Vary tab, or one of the work's sub-pages, thus implying that it can go places other than the YMMV page.

Please note, I'm not referring to everything that's been removed. Comments on Badass Decay, and Lana's Mary Sue status should definitely go here as they are debateable. But I've yet to meet anyone who disagrees with Brainiac's Complete Monster status, or who wants to argue about some of the more obvious Character Alignments. A lot of the latter are actually quite obvious.

Any way, if I could get a response soon, that would be great. I honestly think that some of those should go back on the page, so long as there are no strong objections. Most of the other character sheets have comments like that and no one seems to be disputing them, so I don't see why it's an issue here.

Actually, the character page is "one subcomponent of the main page designed to break off the characterization tropes because they tend to ramp up the amount of stuff on the page"(source:Deboss in the "YMMV Stuff" thread in the forums. And Fighteer concurred.)

Okay then. It still doesn't make a lot of sense, given that half the major characterisation tropes out there (Smug Snake, Magnificent Bastard) etc seem to have that disclaimer on them. I get doing it if it's disputed, I really do. But in cases where no one seems to want to argue it, it doesn't make much sense to me. I'll abide by the rules though, much as I may not like it.
