My entry for Tear Jerker was deleted:

• Tear Jerker: Half-way through the second part of his Really That Bad takedown of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Bob finishes off analysing why the "Knightmare" sequence is the worst scene in the film with a brief and sad divergence into why the entire scene really only existing to get a portrayal of "fascist butcher Superman" on screen for a scene is so upsetting to him:
  Y'know folks, I-I'm no prude, I'm no puritan, and I'm no purist. My favourite movie is Robocop. I've got a copy of Salo on blu-ray and, like, a dozen Takashi Miike movies. And I appreciate the importance of satire and deconstruction, especially of beloved positive icons of the status quo in a capitalist patriarchy. And I think deconstructionist DC Comics work like Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, Red Son are important vital works. But... I-I mean... y'know these are characters where... y'know, Make-A-Wish kids wear T-shirts with their logos on them because, like it... it makes them feel like they can overcome their afflictions. Stuff like that. And I'm for artists' rights and free expression, but... I also think you've got the right to tear down and mess with and even vandalize all of this stuff but... given what it is and what it can mean... if you're gonna do that, shouldn't there be a POINT to it? Shouldn't you at least have something actually say with it other than "Heh! You see that? You ain't getting that from a Marvel movie, right?" <sighs> ...and we're still not done.

The only justification the troper who deleted it provided was "Nah".

Ex-friggin'-cuse me? I think we need better than that.
