I deleted this entry as it had bad Example Indentation (three bullet level was not needed).
I also believe it was not a thing that would get complaints from fans — if so, the write up should explain that.
- In multiple cases the characters were split into two characters, which goes in the opposite direction of most adaptations since they tend to use composite characters. Thus, Kirk is split into charming tactician Picard and hot head, tom cat, man of action Riker; Spock is split into logical, superhuman, fish out of water Data and a freaky, mind-reading Counsellor.
Removed following text from the "Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor" example, due to justifying opinions and irrelevant information (we don't need to know about unrelated internal BBC policy or who praised/wanted the change, with respect to this page).
Might be worthwhile adding in a few of the other complaints e.g. the idea that the Doctor is iconically male and the change is going against type, the idea that it's removing a male role model for young boys, all the lame sexist troll-jokes about whether she'll be able to fly the Tardis, etc.
