I've been thinking; would it be possible for a work to have a scenario that's both Nightmare Fuel and a heartwarming moment?

What happened to the troper tales page? i mean, i know it was getting long, but more than not adding to it, it seems like the page as vanished off the face of the wiki, and I miss it. that was how I made myself feel better after a long day, or when I was feeling depressed. And Now it's just *gone*

It was decided that we would get rid of Troper Tales altogether (a decision I personally hate.) We're supposed to get something to replace it in the form of an "article thread," but I haven't seen anything like that. I wish we at least had the Troper Tales wiki, but that's gone as well.

EDIT: The Troper Tales wiki is not gone, but it's still very primitive.

No, I know that. I can still find the article thread/archived troper tales pages for other tropes, but the heartwarming pages are gone- no trace of them. Do you( or anyone really) know why it was decided to get rid of TV tropes? Because I've asked around and everyone I've talked to seemed pretty against it. But maybe I'm missing something.

I'm willing to bet those people didn't know about the crowner. The "bulletin" system is pretty easy to miss. Most of these polls probably end up largely receiving forum regulars' votes and an unrepresentative amount from the rest of the site, which tends to be a completely different political climate; I can count a few occasions where I've encountered a TRS thread and was highly taken aback by how strongly the consensus disagreed with the sentiments I had understood to be nearly unanimous. It's like the difference between red states and blue states — live in one, move to the other, end up constantly surprised at the opinions people take for granted that, back in your hometown, would have practically gotten them lynched.

That's how I interpret it, anyway. The subtlety in "announcing" many rather important opportunities to weigh in on big decisions results in a polarized result that may shock those who didn't realize there was an election.

(Who, me? I don't go on tangents, I go on secants!)

Honestly having a separate wiki for Troper Tales without TV Tropes' markup at the least just isn't the same. I'd rather live with no Troper Tales at all than use this replacement.

Shouldn't the indexing of this page be put into the smaller subpages rather than put on the main page? zerky admits that she's rather reluctant to index the Heartwarming Moments of smaller works with short entries on this page for fear of cluttering it up.

Um, can we have this unlocked yet? Or, can we have it moved to Moments of Funny, like Awesome Moments?

Go to Bleach then click the link at the foot of the page. And yes, there should be a direct link there, but I can't edit it to add one as it's currently locked.

Wait, did this lose its "Crowning" title as well? Why?

No discussion with that ID exists. Summary?

Responding to an ancient post. I think the gist of it was that, since there were so many examples, the "Crowning" part was deemed too subjective so the name was changed.

Type the word in the image. This goes away if you get known.
