It'll probably have to be cut, as neither of the replacements fit. Zeroes and ones are used as a computing motif, but that's about it. They are used to represent computer data on occasion (so Computers Speak Binary — and the entry from this show that used to be on Zeroes And Ones was moved there), but it only happens a few times and I'm not sure it's enough to mention.
Noticed this earlier and want to bring it to the table: can we do some standardizing across the pages so certain terms and names match up?
Specifically, we waffle between Humagear/HumaGear on different pages and there are still some places that have Izu instead of Is (and I know Is looks weird as a name, but it's on her Progrisekey so I'm treating it as the official spelling and it thematically makes sense). I'm personally fine with either one for HumaGears though I have a personal preference for double capitals, but I think we should standardize Izu as Is at the very least. (And if we have any "Azu" spellings, we might as well just switch those to "As".
Hide / Show RepliesAs someone who hates CamelCase I say Humagear makes far more sense. That's how actual words work in real life.
I also say Izu/Azu is much better because it's WAY easier to read when in a whole sentence. It's also what the vast majority of the online community uses, which I think should be taken into account.
Has the word ever been seen depicted in Romanji anywhere in the show or its promotional materials? If so, how was it capitalized?
Easier doesn't mean correct. We can't just decide to change it. While I agree that "Izu" sounds better, "Is" is the official spelling and as such should be used.
As for the Humagear, I couldn't find anything, multiple stores and such go back and forth on this. So I say we should stick to "Humagear" - easier to edit in and lacks the danger of leaving red links.
Yeah, Huma Gear can honestly go either way and I'm fine with going with "Humagear" if it makes avoiding redlinking easier.
Secondary question since this is active again: The rocket in episode...37? 38? confirmed Satellite Zea as Satellite "There", written in English. I almost changed it on the pages but wanted consensus, though going by what TendouMan says we should probably swap it over.
Edited by ZeroSenninRegarding the Character section, should we make a HIDEN Manufacturing page or wait until we get more info?
Hide / Show RepliesLet's wait a little I think. I'm not up on spoilers 100%, but I think it doesn't have to be made right away.
I am hesitant to be the one to start this, and am somewhat surprised it hasn't come up. There are no shipping tropes listed on any of this series's pages, which I find odd. Most of the other Kamen Rider series have a lot of that either on the character pages or the YMMV page. Considering how much I see of Aruto/Izu or Fuwa/Yaiba when talking to other fans, no one is really saying anything about it here.
So, in short, what is the best way to handle it? Limit it to Character and YMMV? Or just YMMV? At the very least, Izu and Aruto seem like they're worth adding a Ship Tease entry. But this isn't exactly my forte, and I'm usually pretty skeptical about shipping tropes in the first place. This time, though, I think at least a few are a bit too blatant to ignore and may be intentional on the show's part.
Removed from main page, as there is a cleanup effort on ZeroesAndOnes underway and I am not sure what to do with this entry:
- Zeroes And Ones: Referenced in that our hero's codename is "Zero-One", but otherwise the show hasn't tried to force a computing metaphor out of it (yet, anyway).
