Since editing my post doesn't seem to want to work and the link is going to a Not Found page, the ATT thread can be found at https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/query.php?parent_id=65775&type=att#comment-65775
Seeing how my first post looks, remove any slashed after "query"

Whoever wrote the Lonely at the Top example, it has been left unfinished. Someone please finish it. (I would, but I’m not sure what the author was going for.
"Can't say fork? That's bullshirt!"
Per a report in Ask The Tropers titled Edit War In Recap/StevenUniverseS5E19NowWereOnlyFallingApart, there seems to have been some back and forth over this entry.
Bait-and-Switch: Rose and Pearl seemingly fuse into Rainbow Quartz/Diamond... only for the Fusion to fall apart before it can stabilize.
The specific issue revolves around what to call the fusion. Since seem to want Rainbow Diamond, others Rainbow Quartz, and there's a suggestion to nix the whole argument by not using a name to begin with.
My own view is that "Rainbow Diamond" is invalid because it is not, in any way, shape, or, form, used in the series and the official name for the Fusion in the present day being Rainbow Quartz, whatever Rose's actual Gem is. The show isn't likely to start referring to Smoky Quartz as Smoky Diamond, and I don't see this as any different.
So, far as I'm concerned, it's two choices: Rainbow Quartz or No Name.
Honestly I'm inclined towards no name since, like Garnet at this point, the fusion didn't have a name yet. On a pragmatic level, it also heads off "what name" arguments so this discussion won't be necessary.
But that's just me and, being honest, I have no real stake in this.
